so that's mean to be able to use this feature I should be the one who creates the meeting through Zoom room, but in most cases, the meeting is created by the client or the IT and then they send me a link to join with my final video and audio.
Yes because Zoom Rooms is what we needed it for... I hope that this is just an official test phase for Zoom and they'll soon roll it out to the more utilized client. I suppose it's progress, but what a fuggin tease.
I'm grateful for your work and to know Zoom is working towards integrating NDI. I'm disappointed a bit with your title here. To say "NDI output in Zoom" when it is a very specific feature that is not the mainline portion of Zoom made me feel a little less trusting. If you had just added one word (rooms) I would likely have watched the video anyway.
Neil, you are right and we can update this title. In fact, we have a learned a few more details about this integration and we are going to make an updated video to show this in more detail.
This is great news for Ideal Systems, as we a leading NDI systems integrator in APAC and also a Zoom Certified Integrator and authorised agent for DTEN Zoom Room devices. So Zoom Room and NDI solutions are perfect for our skillset. We have already been been delivering NDI and Zoom integrated solutions.
Big question - when using Zoom NDI output, besides the audio for the participant chosen it also sends out my own audio into that NDI audio stream into OBS. Any way to stop this? To be useable it needs to only output the audio from the chosen participant. Result is that I cannot monitor only the participant's audio back to the mixer where headphones are connected to be able to hear the participant. I hear my own audio delayed making it un-useable.
yeah its a cool feature. at the moment im a fan of MS Teams. So lovely integrating ndi in the normal client. Zoom Rooms does make some more work. And why only 3 video feeds. Would be perfect if zoom could share all peoples video in the conference.
It's a disgrace that you don't lead off every time you post a video about NDI with mentioning the actually godfathers of NDI, NEWTEK. I mean without them providing this great tool to the world, none of this would be possible. And they should always be mentioned first before other brands who can utilize its signal internally. I can remember when you were all about NewTek and TriCasters. Now you try to avoid saying the name like the plague
NDI is a separate company. Andrew Cross now works for Vizrt. NDI has become a separate company for many reasons, but one publically facing reason is branding. You can't expect the world at large to care about the history of NewTek and NDI the way that you and I might.

We're having issues with the audio. Any ideas what we're missing? Video feed works fine, it's just that the audio part is not working.
Thanks ... It opens a new world for production.... Excited
Wait, you can only output Active speaker or Gallery View via NDI, I assumed it would do individual speakers :(
We actually explained this wrong and the icons are a little misleading. You can actually just pin 3 participants in NDI feeds
Active speaker, OR pinned speakers. Also Isolated audio.
@@talonsid You get the choice for active speaker or pinning up to 3 people. Also, yes you can isolate audio.

That’s awesome. Now your customers will want to leverage more live streaming and production with their Zoom Rooms I’m sure
I. Like many, many others think it would be of great benefit if was made clear that it's not really 'Zoom' - it's 'Zoom Rooms' that has this feature.

🤯 wait what?!?!
OMG I have been using NDI screen capture... Wow, thanks!
You're welcome!

Kann ich kurs. Machen. Mizt beine..... . .
Did Zoom give an idea when we will get it in the Standard Meeting Client?
Not yet but thanks for the idea because I should be asking them that!
Bro..... "New NDI Output in Zoom!" SHOULD be "New NDI Output in Zoom ROOM" .... THAT WAY, I don't waste my time.
Hmm, only works in Zoom Rooms? Never knew they had that option, and now that I see it you have to upgrade your subscription to $50 a month
Yes, you might want to wait until they release the native Zoom client with NDI :)
@@StreamGeeks Will do! And thanks for all the great content! Can't wait to get my hands on NDI 5 and see what it can do for my streams!
only 3 outputs... that is garbage
Yea, quite disappointed with that.
A pretty confusing tutorial
i thought i was the only one that could not understand that.
You should have said thanks to ZOOM and NEWTEK, not NDI... Luke I am your father.
When the Visrt Group bought NewTek in 2019 they made NDI it’s own company that is managed separately.
Like your videos but that title is pure click bait 😂
Stupid title. Clickbait.
zoom fail.. why are they so slow to implement this properly
Muito bom, beautiful
Finally
