Chris Paterson we don’t have school shootings every week, it’s not very common and happens a handful of times a year. Our problem isn’t an inanimate object it’s criminals and mentally ill, we used to lock unstable people away from society in institutions now that’s “wrong” so they allow them to just walk around society. We used to execute violent offenders or lock them away and never release them, they now are often released right back onto the streets after bail is payed “drug money”. We didn’t have these issues to this extent a few decades ago, these are recent issues that have started.
Chris Paterson Tell them about the daily stabbings in the UK again, despite the ban on carrying even a pen knife. Tell them how the bad guys always carry them while the good guys are like sitting ducks. Go on.

think of how many of these you could realistically conceal carry....my personal estimate would be...a LOT
I know right lol
@@csknives can you make one of those tri twisting bladed daggers lol probably not. I think it's illegal. But I want one. And the metal one is too expensive. Castle law If someone breaks into my house I want to make sure his wounds cant be sewn up. Their evil deeds end then and there
As a knife maker I can say that Cold Steel makes quality blades. Many production knives aren't very good steel or properly heat treated. Cold Steel blades are both
Cold steel is leading edge in innovation and no one else is even close.
I disagree with that I can tell you why.
@@wflo77 ok we're waiting....Or did gramma show up with hot pockets?
@@heaththompson3834 first off wtf was that roast if you want to call it that, I'm not saying is not innovative but they are not the leading company in innovation look at crkt they just released the dead bolt and a few years back the field strip they also have other knives like the snaplock and the autolawks system weather you like crkt or not you can't deny that they have cold steel beat in the realm of innovation.
It wasn't a back and forth convo
@@wflo77 I agree with you for the most part. It's just you just made a statement and trailed off for 10hrs. Cold steel is a diverse "cutlery" company. But not everyone's cup of tea. You took the ribbing well.

Good thing I live in Arizona. Not much rules on firearms and knives.
For now unfortunately people from nanny states are leaving them for places like Arizona, Nevada and Texas because they made their state unbelievably expensive to live in and now they are moving to ruin those states all I'm saying is prepare for a collapse
Hate to burst your bubble, but you are today where Nevada was 5 years ago.
.... Nevada was ultra free, now they are starting gradual chipping away.

Just Tacos....quite dangerous if improperly prepared.
Lol isn’t knives banned in prisons? But people die every day from getting stabbed there
Stabbing people is banned everywhere but people still get stabbed. It's almost as if outlaws don't follow the law.
I agree no more laws period
Did anyone else just buy 10 ring daggers?
A friend of mine died in Canada from dirty street fight, the attacker had a knife stabbed him to death he was fighting with his bare hands fighting for life this could have saved his life and I totally agree with this man's rights with his products I'm going to be ordering a few thank you. Anybody that trades their freedom for safety deserves neither!
When is Cold Steel going to start making firearms? I'd love a Cold Steel .357 revolver!
RazorBeast a cold steel glock would be cool.
We did at one time, it didn't do so well.
I agree, plus “Cold Steel” would be an awesome name for a gun manufacturer just as it is for a knife manufacturer..lol
Wouldn't it be Hot Steel?
Cold steel has an awesome rubber 1911
Whats cool is you can practice the size/shape for CCW before actually buying a 1911
I’ve kept the karabit in my shower for years! NY State and City have always been screwy!
Got one in both my showers!
Lynn Thomson should be president of coldsteel and USA!
They can pass whatever law they want. I'll keep doing what I want.
Exactly
From gun control to knife control. It's about controlling the people.

My state is so ridiculous, first was the NYSAFE act and now it's this "ghost knife" ban. Awful.
NY where you can be jumped by 4 masked thugs and get 4 years in prison for defending yourself with your fists. Pathetic..
love Lynn because he's not just selling product- he believes in what he is selling and WHY! Everyone has a right to self-defense!
Totally agree with you Lynn Thomson! And yes those are badass!
I can't be the only one here to remember when Demoncraps scoffed when we said that they would move on to knife control after they had enacted gun control.
Pepperidge Farm remembers.
Thank you Lynn Thompson, its good to know that this issue is being heard, a new Yorker
This is why I love Cold Steel. They are a 2A company with strong morals and ethics.
Unlike a lot of companies lately, they understand and support First Responders of all types. Just as much as they support and advocate along with yourselves for the common man.
Always been in love with this company. Very good marketing. Great products!!!
NYS position on firearms is known. It is now making its position on these knives known. The common denominator is that people who are intent on harm will find a way to enact that desire regardless of laws, and the people who _want to obey laws_ are punished.

Clicked to hear about the law, left wanting to buy a non metallic knife.
I give sincere thanks to Lynn Thompson for innovating these excellent self defense weapons and producing them via his company Cold Steel.
Lynn, your company and its product lineup are unique in all the world. Please keep up the excellent work!
You are fighting the good fight! Just ordered two FGXs to try out, I did not even know what these were before your video and am very intrigued.
@HOSTILE MGTOW Thinking about stashing one under the mattress. Then we'll see who's sleeping on them!
Thanks Nathaniel!
Shower knife huh. Ok I'll put that next to my barbeque gun

Let's call them loopholes
@@dosstheboss100 Nice, what you did there.
We martial artists also train with plastic knives. I am sad to say that I am not surprised that NY legislators would not want people to learn to defend themselves from the bad guys...NY legislators have no regard for your rights, least of all your right to self defense. Sigh. So typical of them.
I once took a spork through a metal detector. Living on the edge.....lol. our forefathers are rolling in there graves right now.
I love Lynn's vision for Cold Steel. I have over 30 pieces including one of these "plastic" Delta Darts. Every piece I've ever owned is A+ superb quality. I buy nothing but Cold Steel. I'm surprised he didn't have his mini Koga in this plastic display. Not a knife but they last forever, are super sturdy and do a lot of damage! They fit right in your hand and have a nice "point" on both sides. Excellent products every time! Thanks Lynn! No one beats Cold Steel.
I predict you're going to get a ton of orders from NY addresses before Nov. 1st.
I'm a security guard.
Part of me wants to say, "couldn't we just require a 2-inch-long, quarter-inch-thick steel rod to be embedded in the blade during manufacture? Then you would get all the advantages of plastic (light, cheap, weather-proof) while still being detectable?"
The other part of me looks at all the metal water bottles I'm told to let in, which can easily be used a clubs, and says security is a joke anyway.
A metal cane can be used as a Tonfa as someone that knows cane style.
Lynn is genuinely a great American. Proud to own many of your knives. Thanks for not just making great knives, but all kinds of defensive weapons. You guys really have thought of everything.
Thank you, Juan!
I work on equipment in San Antonio courthouse. I carry a XL talwar every time. Granted I enter through the dock and there are 0 signs for any weapons or detectors.
Great law NYC because these type of laws are going so well for London.
That shower knife might have given the girl in Psycho a fighting chance

I made wooden knives, glass knives and fishing pole fiber glass poles into nice fencing swords. These fools will be destroyed by anarchists in big cities.
It sounds cynical of me but a few lives lost should not impede the right of people who actually follow the law AT ALL
If we are innocent til proven guilty why are we being treated like criminals?
@Bert Clayton crazy man. Yeah, i agree, they dont care about saving lives. They have a different agenda.
@@duanenavarre7234 because politicians dont care. I voted for trump and i think hes the best president we have had in a while, but i feel like he could be forced into standing next to anti 2A laws.
Thanks for another great video.
I work in courthouse security in the state of Tennessee where it's legal to carry just about any knife and it is a big concern. But I agree with you whole heartedly a law abiding person should be able to protect themselves and their loved ones and if a strong plastic knife is all you can afford a person should be able to buy it.
Love your company , if your looking to expand think about Tennessee. Your products are very popular down here.
Happy customer and interested viewer.

Next, feet, hands, pointed sticks! & sharp words will be made illegal.
We are coming for your wooden pencils, freedom will be outlawed.
Now people in prison won’t be able to get shives. Thank you for looking out Big Bro!
Bravo, Mr. Thompson
I love that Lynn decided to start cold steel I’ve always loved the way he promoted his stuff to even though a lot of people have talked smack about that he shows you how tough his stuff is just awesome amounts of weaponry great company great guy
Time to buy some plastic knives for myself, the governments don’t want us to have it? That’ll just make people want them more and create a black market.
Those scary knives look like weapons of war.... 😱
Seems like the USA is slowly turning into a nanny state like the UK. Damn.
HAY! At leastvwe don't have school shootings every week. When somthing like that happens here we do stuff about it.
You cant argue with zealots lol
Chris Paterson Tell them about the daily stabbings in the UK again, despite the ban on carrying even a pen knife. Tell them how the bad guys always carry them while the good guys are like sitting ducks. Go on.
Chris Paterson Yup, when you have stabbings everyday.... you import more illiterate Middle Eastern criminals
XD you ‘do something’ indeed
Lynn is a true American and Cold Steel is a great company. I've been buying their products for over 30 years. Thank you sir for your great works of art.
I've seen a knife made out of hard wood that wound up being almost as sharp as a steel knife. The Democrats can't ban trees.
tree bans are coming next.. can't have you making knifes and breathing clean air out of the same low cost solution.
By definition if the ring can be detected the knife is legal
It’s plastic! Great for kids! Won’t even weigh down their school bags.
Who’d circumvent security with a plastic knife when you can use carbidized titanium?
It’s also lightweight, rust proof, and durable but it also takes a much Kenner and very durable edge.
These great knives that CS makes could be used for self defense but I think that they make much better training tools after the edge has been purposefully dulled and the tip blunted.
Keep up the great work Mr. Thompson.
Giving up your rights for government protection is fools game.
Every time I shower I think "what if somebody broke in right now?" Sometimes I go as far as bringing the Colt Astra in the bathroom! I need one of these.
I haven't watched a vid of your in a real long time..but when I saw the knife ban..scccreach..hit the brakes..watch the vid..it a stupid law..on,y a criminal will use these tools to hurt a nother person..
I think that training knives shouldn't be black, but blue, orange or even red. The metal ring is OK. But Policeman (in high stress) has few seconds to decide what to do with you.
Plastic knives are great to put in the shower/bathroom since they don't care about water
Best knife and weapon company! I love that you fight for your rights.
Its not a law if you can't enforce it.
Don't forget about camping, you can protect your self
" AndThey fit in your prison wallet!"😉 LOL I love cold steel and their non metallic knives. That trench knife and karambit are B A!
I'll take the karambit knife anyday.

Extremely thought provoking! Great video!
That whole concept is ridiculous just like in John Wicks movie and kill somebody with a pencil
I'm a proud owner of a few of your knives. Oddly enough what sold me was all the five star ratings of people who said they cut themselves damn near out of the box comparing them to razors I was sold!!! Lol. Awesome company thank you!!

Katanas stolen from my storage - made a police report - I am MUCH more concerned by the damage those could do vs. a plastic knife
Gradual chipping away.....
Next up they will ban steel knives under a certain size..... then over a certain size......
HexagramMan lol damn that’s nuts.... But don’t worry, they are flooding the state with South American illegal immigrant gang members... so crime will go down XD
and why not?
Look Mr. Crazypants, I believe in the 2nd amendment too, but having plastic knives hidden away in every corner of your house (in your fishbowl, really?) is just a bit nuts. Also, I don’t think my wife would approve of a trench knife on 10 lb test in the shower...
I like 🥔
what i learned from this video do not i repeat do not sneak into this mans house, he has knives everywhere.
