Assuming you do your weekly cardio and lift, even if just casually, you should be able to pass this test with ease as a grown man.
I’m a freshman and can probably do this at some point. Not strong at all but ran 2 miles in 16 minutes so could maybe cut it down a little bit. Also get consistent 30’s on push-ups and I just need to work on sit-ups really. Obviously I can’t do it now and it’s harder than it seems but the point is that it’s possible

The Army fitness test requires more. I was once in the Army, and that is also my personal standard. I’m 37 and still hold myself accountable to the Army standards for an 18 year old.

Reminder: General fitness is being able to live a regular life without pain or issues. You do not need to be completely jacked to be happy. As long as you aren’t very unhealthy, you’re fine.

Im Air Force now, max push ups in 1 min is 58, max sit ups is 67 in 1 min, max 1.5 mile run is 9:30. I’ve got max pushups and sit ups but my run is about 11:15, working on it.

in my country it’s mandatory for every man to serve, i made a promise to my grandfather that he would see me as special forces soldier, he passed before that. soon after i tore my ACL and meniscus 7 months before i enlist, gained 40 kilos and was about to go to the special needs branch. i pushed through everything, fixed my leg, lost the weight, got stronger and in 3 months i’ll officially be in the special forces, everyone can do it you just need to want it

Air Force physical is a joke. I was a high school wrestler and did 2 miles run, 100 push, 100 sit-ups and 50 pull-ups all as warmup to the wrestling. Also did some gymnastics during the wrestling’s off season. My level of fitness was always in to 10 percentile all because the base I built as a teenager.
