- what's goood, finally finally get some new lightweight wheels on the is38 mk7 gti. i went with the Enkei PF01s 17x8 so we can fit a taller and fatter tire on them later on.

Don’t sleep on the hakkapeliitta’s for the winter, I run them on the stock wheels for Maine winter on my mk7. They grip hard in the ice and snow. Sick new wheel and tire combo, enjoying the vids!

looking good loving the silver and white! 17s are a nice and agressive look i went with some 18s for my new setup due to going with a big brake kit soon but definetly 17s give that racecar look
I know the PERFECT wheels for you, I run 17s on my 18R with some really good fatty Chinese tires!

Wowow did I just get a compliment out of you lol. Also yeah it’s a goofy thing because I either have to heat and pull apart the assembly and re glue them or pay 700 bucks ..

If your car is lighting package (I forget if you're LP or not). Aftermarkets won't work. At least, not without running an adapter harness and coding out some of the sensors like AFS.
If you are not LP. Look into BMP's lights. OSRAM too (if you have the coin).
From what I've read, opening up the OEM LP housings are a major PITA and you're more likely going to break them than open them cleanly. But some do do it. Check the forums (GolfMK7/Vortex).
