Man, thank you 🙏 Appreciate your support so much! Slowly getting those numbers up there! Leaving again in a few days for our next video from Costa Rica 😎
Here because I missed my little cousin’s birthday and I told him I went to Belize and he’s really into Dora The Explorer and I’m really into archaeology so I’m telling him I went here but I need to catch up on the lore to make it make sense.
Belize is a great country to explore and you can do so much in such a short amount of time. I was really surprised by that actually. Thank you for watching always! You are awesome!
Oh yeah, I remember these ruins. Brings it all back to me from 5 years ago, Karin and I visited and were gazing over that same river, as well planning our escape route to Gautemala lol I spent far too much time in Belize for the allotment I had on that Latin America pilgrimage. The 2 month plan turned into 3 before I knew it! Great videography brother!!! You back in the States now, Mike?
Belize would definitely be easy to lose track of time having fun at.....haha! We were supposed to get over into Guatemala on that trip! But the checkpoint at the border was wild and we decided we didn’t wanna mess with it for just one location we were filming. Yeah back in the states at the moment but leaving again soon for Costa Rica. Quick 8 day filming trip down there should be fun.
@@WanderingWolf the checkpoint wild eh? I can only imagine how different it is nowadays. We just took a little boat from the port of Belize to Puerto Barrios. Is that how you were thinking to cross over? So I'm trying to find your Salton Sea video.. didja make one?
@@Kr8tomforcheap We were filming all around San Ignacio and were gonna cross there to get over to Tikal. Yeah huge lines and we already had an issue getting into Belize with our drone so didn’t want to risk coming back across with all our film gear. Salton Sea has been filmed and we are hoping to drop that one in the next month or so....
6:30 the “ball game” is a myth… that’s not true at all… the pyramids have to do something with quantum physics…. Our ancestors used quantum physics. Is very complicated to explain in a comment. Thanks a lot for your videos bro, is like going back home.
I was just in Belize and we went to lamanai and they said the winners of the ball court game area would be sacrificed because the Mayans believed that the winners would have a better chance in the afterlife due to their strength and be more worthy of sacrifice to the gods.
At 5:40 These working with stones with precision measurements need enormous amount of labor and time , what puzzles me is why? I mean what was their motivation? Religion?
I'm dead serious when I say that this channel is VERY underrated. DEFINITELY deserves more subs and views. I really enjoyed this one!

I heard the guides talking about that while I was walking around filming!
Sweeeeet!
Thanks brother!!!

Nice bro
Thank you brother!
Please help!! I’m going to Belize in June and can’t decide which ruins to see Lama I or Xunantunich?? Which ruins are more impressive?
If I had to choose I’d go with Xunantunich personally!
@@WanderingWolf what about Caracol?
That carving looks very Olmeca.
Pick up d bottle of CASHEW wine, fantastic. Hard to find anywhere else.
👍👍
How much
No people there. It is not as popular as others?
We got there early to miss the crowds. It was very busy when we were leaving.
I think the stones are covering the real olmec pyramid
It would be great to have more information about the signs and symbols rather than a 'really cool' comment.
Thank u bro
For letting the world know about LAMANAI🏞️
