As he speaks on his twitter storm he caused where he gave terence crawford props on "exposing" PBC over the failed Errol Spence Jr vs Terence Crawford fight. As Oscar is asked directly if he feels Al Haymon and PBC are blocking from fights being made. As he also calls Canelo Alvarez a cop out for not wanting to fight zurdo ramirez if he beats dmitry bivol on saturday

Canelo beef with de la Hoya started when golden boy wanted canelo to fight 3 ggg fight but canelo said he had nothing to prove after second fight canelo wanted easy fights taking the mayweather play book.

Not buying the fights is the only way to hold these platforms and promoters accountable.
Fans not buying fights and watching them for free on streams instead is at an all time record high. This is a consequence of boxing politics, of the industry not giving the consumers what they want. The promoters and networks know this, but they don't like to talk about it, because it would be bad for business. Regardless, at this point its irreversible, the fans are perfectly content not buying anymore in order to stick it to the industry, and people have less discretionary spending today anyways.

He fought one of m favorite Lightweights @ 147 Pernell Whittaker in a close Fight and won. There are guys, several actually that are ranked well above him.Hell, Boots Ennis hasn't even won a Title yet and he would KO De La Hoya. No one wants that guy. Watch, he'll have to move up in weight like the late Aaron Pryor did from 135 to 140 in the early '80's. There's pretty much nothing i don't know about Boxing.

Pay-Per-Views are totally killing good fights. Money and greed. Spence/Crawford didn't happen because it seems Spence thought he is 'worth more' than Crawford because Spence sells more PPV's. And yet Crawford is worth more than Spence because he's the better fighter. I would imagine the best promoter in the future is going to be the one who gets the fights made and doesn't get into the whole PPV thing.

PBC is not a promotional company.... It almost like a League that is strictly showcased on Showtime/Fox. Al Haymon is not a promoter he is not a "Manager". He is an Advisor that own the PBC and it's TV rights with Showtime/Fox. That's why the fights can't get made because the fights cannot happen on any other network than Showtime/ Fox.

Witch is how they make more money on the back end because they actually invested into their fights. Haymon gets them to sign TV rights with the PBC. Haymon "Advises" them witch route to take because he's a smart guy.

If it's frustrating for fans to see elite boxers today hand-pick their opponents and mitigate risk like a liability lawyer, it has to be driving Oscar crazy because he fought everyone. Oscar was 23 years old when he went up in weight and faced off against Julio Cesar Chavez, at the time Chavez was one of the biggest names in boxing. Went up in weight to fight for the Middle-Weight title against another Hall of Famer, B-Hop. Granted, he lost that effort...but nonetheless he wasn't afraid to make these big fights happen. And finished his career fighting the most dangerous fighter at the time, Manny Pacquiao.
Remember it was Oscar and Schaefer promoting Floyd and everyone was believing Arums stories and not Oscars while trying to fight Manny, people believe what they want to believe and it depends on which fighter they like as to who they believe.

Every so often, promoters will say something agreeable to fans. Oscar had a phenomenal career. But, he also never fought Winky Wright or gave Felix Sturm or Ike Quartye a rematch. I kind of also remember Oscar stating that he would not fight Miguel Cotto because his wife at the time was Puerto Rican. Can someone correct me on that if I’m wrong? I also don’t think he has always promoted in the same way that he’s speaking right now. Maybe I’m wrong, but I remember not too long ago, Oscar had stated that he would never have allowed Canelo to fight Bivol. I believe that fighters do turn down fights, so I would like to know what fights he was talking about that were turned down by Rashidi and I’m also curious if he would say the same was the case for Franchon Crews-Dezurn. I could always be wrong, though.
