When I finally finished the hike and got down to the lodge at Chirripó, the police were there. A woman who had been hiking with her family the same day as me went missing. I passed them on the trail. They couldn’t find her for 4 days and eventually found her body bellow a drop off 😔 really sad and scary stuff. I didn’t realize how dangerous the hike was, especially alone. RIP to her

Just found your channel and I love your videos. I just took my first solo int'l trip to Germany and the Netherlands this past April and I loved it. Can't wait to keep exploring the world by myself. I can do what I want when I want and not have to worry about anyone else's wishes or itinerary.

Why Costa Rica?!.. You could it go to Puerto Rico or the Virgin Islands in the Caribbean. There're hots springs, deep caverns, 7 miles of air wiring jungle style. No passport. You can be adopted by a family providing what's your interests and they show places to go and enjoy. National Rain forest... you can stay overnight in hammocks or the "Paradores" a pay venue. Both places are US territories. If you speak 45% Spanish you're good to go. Keep up the good work. That was fun, like a deja vu for me. Take care nature boy. Love from Florida. I stayed for three months in the 90's it
was amazing and the people were approachable.

We spent a delightful week in Costa Rica in '12 or '13 just as national elections were about to occur with sound trucks broadcasting appeals. A tiny country of relative peace surrounded by corrupt , brutal regimes as far as the eye can see. Some Venezulains coming for a few days of respite from unending trauma that has only gotten worse. In a nature park they pointed out a tiny bright colored snake only a few inches long but deadly.
Is he not the sweetest sexiest man on UA-cam. Like watching his videos makes me feel like I could just lay my head on his shoulder and he would never let anything happen to me.
