ithank you! I have a service manual which states to tighten the bolts of the variator plate and clutch to specific torque values, yet you tighten them with the pneumatic hammer, how are you sure about the torque values? :D

Thank you for your interest! With the force with which I manage to unscrew the variator nut, I turn it back. Since I like to experiment on my bike with weight rollers and variators and how the dynamic qualities change with this way of developing and turning, I have had no problems. I have replaced 12 Vespa GTS as an owner and separately service many GTS 300s. No complaints whatsoever. They work the same way in service stations. You just need to know your tools well and know with what force to screw so as not to break the thread. The bad thing is that Vespa GTS came to me for repair and the screws of the rear wheel were tightened with a wrench (pneumatic gun) in an official service and the heads of the bolts were smeared...
The crankshaft axis is one whole thing is to be careful not to break the thread for that is the manual. If you have any other questions, I will be happy to answer them!

@@fitness-fishing-s.kovachev thank you for your reply, I most certainly will have once I have taken apart the variator, since I will be doing it for the first time i guess.
