Yeah, Phil is getting better every day, but in my opinion, Guyot was on a whole other level. He had such a great feel and brought a lot of textures. It's sad that he didn't get along with the rest of the band. Even worse, I think he stopped playing metal.
this concert was awesome but man that drummer just couldnt stop, even during the solos and stuff he keeps blasting and playing a basillion cymbals at the time.. not good
oh god it sounds so epic! the part with the tapping and blasts is so good. such good synergy in this band, everyone is just crazy skilled

Sounds good, and it sounds like Boucher can deliver Benoit could. I do miss Benoit though, he had put a really groovy spin on Beyond Creation.

I think almost every band who plays tech ends up going way more melodic. Cynic for example. Their demo tapes.
