I just ordered a 1500x1500 with the lead screw option. I'm hoping that keeps it more rigid.
Something else must be wrong with your machine maybe the wheels or loose gantry but it should never had been the loose
That barely made any difference.
That's the reason for the sad music.
It's the same issue that xcarve suffers from.. belt stretch and sag. Make the switch to lead screws and you will wish you did it sooner.
The new version workbee 1515 uses screw drive..much nicer
It does that because you're running belts
You're wrong..even with an 8mm lead screw that openbuilds supplies, it's still a huge issue
What the hell did this achieve lol? That is not even the cause. It's the cheap ass China belts you have. Add a second to each side or get a bigger profile timing belt
Lead screws will solve this problem easily
