She was and still is a muse to a few generations of men, and she did it with class. She has a special aura, not just a beauty. And she is aging with dignity, unlike many others, without losing anything of her magic.

exactly...i didn t know she has gone one...after dracula or her malena...to MANY more roles that get better with HER in the roles..but ven today..heer MALENA alone...which she does say is reflective of her own life experience in early years..is really HAUNTING to say the least...no wonder she has become a sought after ACTRESS besides her enduring beauty even in her 50 s or today...ONE IN A MILLION GENUINE BEAUTY...WOMAN...AND TALENT.

My best friend was the most beautiful woman I'd ever seen in real life. We became close when a boy she liked pursued me. I saw her hurt and couldn't do it. She'd never had a woman be kind to her much less be loyal. We became inseparable...and throughout our friendship I saw exactly what this woman experienced. People are petty and jealous creatures. They tortured my beautiful friend who literally was the kindest soul I'd ever known..simply because she was beautiful. It was tragic.

Here in Belgrade, Serbia, and all of Serbia to be honest, Monica is the epitome of beauty - every single generation of both men and women say her name when asked what and how a woman should be. It’s quite sad the childhood she had, because of her father’s nationality, but I get it. It’s the “small town mentality” & people can be extremely judgmental and cruel.

I've seen many very beautiful women go through that kind of grief. They either become very bitter or very conceited (or both). RARELY do they have Monica's quiet dignity and elegance. Though she may not be Meryl Streep, her acting chops are decent and even really good when cast in the right role and by a director who knows what he's doing. There are a few movies where she's SUBLIME even and no one could have done a better job than her! Her beauty may have been the key to her succes but her quiet resilience must have been what kept the door open. You don't want to know what STUPID questions she had to endure from the press during her life, especially from the Italian interviewers. The woman is a force of nature and in my eyes the most beautiful woman that ever lived. Also extra props to her for aging naturally.

She has literally embodied and lived through the "Ugly Duckling" story in real life.
Such people are very interesting and very spiritual actually, because early on in life they learned the hard way that they're genuinely not bound by things like their looks or society's view of them. Yes she has made a living out of being beautiful, but all of us make a living out of something materialistic that society dictates to us too, don't we? But I feel like people like her think beyond that and aren't bound to that. You can't teach such things, you have to experience the hardships and pain and overcome them in order to really know that.

Yeah I feel like he did to her what she was afraid would happen and the reason she was so unwilling to commit to marriage and then she gave him everything including two children and then simply because she starts aging he shamelessly cheats on her in public and couldn't even be discreet about it .
The weird thing is she really didn't like him when she first met him and to me that's always a clue that usually something Primal is going on there and I believe those relationships no matter how great or how long end up reverting back to what they originally were with the genuine dislike .
I think she saw something in him right from the get-go that was not right and she slowly let her guard down but probably never should have .

Monica Bellucci’s parents believed in their daughter. This enormous support helped her to believe in herself. Monica Bellucci‘s words about a woman’s beauty are so true. I am now 71 years young, and I grew up the pains of the double edge sword of the naturally beautiful. It is like being a star. Everybody knows you. Everybody wants to know you. Those who are jealous cut you like a sword. Laughing as they walk away, leaving you bleeding 🩸 asking why.

Lies after lies. That is NOT Monica Bellucci's mother at 1:20 but a former Italian actress. Also, at 1:38 that is not Monica's father and he is NOT of Iranian descent. Her parents were never the talk of the town nor did she ever got beat up in school. She said in so many interviews that she just had decided to move because she wanted to become an actress and modeling was just an entryway into that world. She moved straight to Milan, and never lived in Perugia. If you want to make a one hour long documentary do your research, fact check your stories, before you read stupidities on a silly collage of photos.

I do think she's beautiful and seems classy. But women that have always been pretty and saying people are mean to them for it are missing the other perspective. I've been on both sides. A cute kid, then not a cute teenager, then in my late teens and 20s I got a lot of attention for my looks. People treat you differently. They treat you better when they think you look good. Women that have always been pretty have no idea how it would feel to be seen as unappealing or as invisible. If they knew that pain they would see how lucky they are and how easy they have it.
I never cared about women being jealous of me because my life was so much better than when i was invisible. I actually felt pity for those women.

You unfolded a whole life aspect of her’s I had no idea. She’s a profound person that many neglect to focus on simply because she’s stunning. When I was a young child I was fascinated by her natural beauty. I’ve seen her up close she’s so graceful and carries herself with such charm and poise. It’s much more than external beauty that’s why she’s irresistible. Malena was based on her real life, that’s why it had such authenticity she lived and breathed the role. Everything comes in full circle.Karma gets us all. Her mentality is very healthy. She’s a Mediterranean class act in fact she said in an interview, she’s half Mediterranean and half European in attitude, about tradition and easy slow living and being a hard worker career woman. If you pay attention to her interviews they’re very intriguing.she’s so wise. She was so much more than a model in fact modeling was inferior for her she didn’t have that anorexic measurements, she’s a beautiful woman in real life , a woman not just good looking on camera. Cinema is a dream world and escape from reality. She followed her instincts and life did its work , magic whatever you wanna call it. She remains humble cause she never forgot her humble beginnings and because she ain’t conceited at all. Somehow she manages being a diva and a down to earth sweet person.
