Bachmann's 2012 V2 - Old But Gold?

- An older model, renumbered and repurposed on many a layout, and thus quite rare to find. But, since it is DCC ready, few people seem to have sold their old versions of Bachmann Branchline 2012 release of the LNER V2, product code 31-565, for one of the 2021 releases. Does that make the 2012 model flawless? We shall see..

Rest assured, 60862 has been condemned to the naughty step for embarrassing me on the internet the way she did.
Good

I hope when you have more models and tracks to extend the main line, you can recreate the lovely Somerset and Dorset Joint Railway of double heading trains.
Niceee V2! If TMC hadn't had the new Bachmann V2s on offer for £140 last Christmas, I would have gone with this 2012 release. It's good to know it would have been a great purchase as well👍👍
If you look at the rear of the footplate ts completely flat to the tender plate .if you have it close coupled the two touch and the loco lifts the tender off the track .try removing about 1.5 mm from back lip of the footplate and slightly rounding the ends of the footplate.😊
You did a great job 0:15
Sam just bought a B1 and I believe that is the same as this engine, but much more expensive. Both are very nice models, if you’re not too hung up on them being older toolings.
Only problem with the B1 is it’s still being sold and really expensive.
TMC has a new B1 for £117. I'll buy one if it dips below £100.
CN you do a model collection video
Can you do an SFM where Flying Scotsman visits the MANN CO. railroad? 🥺
