I read a Fandom about the Slammer and there it says that the design of him should kind of remind to a Fist or a Boxing Glove. Idk what to say about that. But the Slammer will also be my favourite common ghost of all time^^
Now I'm imagine a game using every single common ghost from the series.

While most fulfill similar roles there are definitely some ghosts that would be cool to see back
I actually disagree with hammers acting like slammers. While yes both get mad easily slammers have soon to be straight up dumb at times and get mad more easily while hammers have shown to be more cocky than slammers and have not shown to be dumb but as shown to be lazy. Also slammers shown to be more civil Redding news papers and willing the wait around while hammers have shown to act more macho.

A few of my favorite common ghosts (technically i like them all) are the creepers because they are an interesting concept and i like their design(they slightly look like Bogmire). and the ghost-guy(shy guy). i know this is unrelated but my favorite non ghost enemy is the flytraps.
I disagree with you about how you think greenies are goofier than the goobs and that the greenies are simpler than the goobs.
In LM2 you had to wait for the right time to flash the greenies if they have some sort of tool, but in LM3 most of the time you can flash a goob to remove it's weapon or just simply use the burst. as for how greenies are less wacky than goobs i think the mummies are a good example(esspecially when they are introduced in the cutscene) because those actually scared me and the goobs just do more stupid things than the greenies (remember when they said *sHoOo* yeah greenies never did that).
This is probably because I played the 2nd game first but the Sneakers are my top favorite Ghosts. Because of the design and how they do things. Though the Slinkers are just the same but different design. (obviously) But I don’t remember if Sneakers do grab Luigi like the Slinkers. But they both grab Toads that I remember of. Also I’m not doing my own tier list on this comment I’m just saying which is my most favorite. But 2nd place would be the Creepers mainly like what ZakPak said because of the design but I like how they giggle because it fits em. And how you fight them is easy. The funny thing is in the 3rd game E gad said that there are ghosts that you have captured are now free. And when I was at that point in the game I was like “ARE WE GONNA SEE GHOSTS FROM 1 & 2!?!?” Which I was excited for….and that never happened. Haha lol. But the 5 ghosts from the 3rd game is pretty much the 1st ghosts but with different designs. So I can’t tell if they’re supposed to be the same as the 2nd game but Nintendo changed the design. Or E gad meant King Boo, Boolosus, and the normal Boo’s because that’s pretty much the only ones that Luigi captured in the past that are now free. Also did you know Gooigi is actually from the 3DS version of Luigi’s Mansion?

I hate the creepers and that one door ghost in Luigi's Mansion 3. Dealing with the is easy if you know when to look out for them but on a first playthrough you will be caught off guard and it just gets annoying.

Aren't Greenie and Strong Greenie basically the same thing? I mean it's both greenies. Sure they have more health and that, but they are also ,,just" Greenies, so idk

youre ranked the luigis mansion 2 ghosts wrong, because they are SUPPOSED to be stupidand goofy, because they used to be nice ghosts. the entire change from LM1 to LM2 was the expressiveness and thats what makes the game different altogether. PLEASE change the list because of this.

Say, isn't the Polterpup kind of a common ghost from LM2? I'm not sure about that. If so, then you forgot it
I consider Polterpup more of an occasional ghost boss type deal (like the 3 sisters)
