I think what I like most about the King Boo fight is how extremely personal it feels. This battle is strictly between Luigi and King Boo, with absolutely no one else involved. Luigi is completely on his own here. Mario's trapped in a painting, E. Gadd can't contact him, and he's not getting any help from some kind of sidekick. He has to do this all by himself with no support whatsoever, which just raises the stakes and tension even further. Likewise, King Boo is also alone during this fight, not receiving assistance from his fellow Boos or any other ghost. The whole game has really come down to a one on one duel between two mortal enemies with everything on the line. I must say, they absolutely nailed the atmosphere during this final battle. I also love the little detail before the fight where King Boo pulls Luigi back through the portal after being pixelated, but not the Dark Moon piece. He just lets it go. He doesn't even care about the Dark Moon anymore, as he's just so done with Luigi and wants nothing more than to see him dead. Luigi's Mansion 3 fully displayed just how much King Boo's hatred for Luigi has grown over the years, but this is where his loathing of him really started to show in my opinion.
I also love how king boo is controling the whole arena. He gets warped into his own nightmare illusion and yet luigi manage to beat him at his own playing field, truely triumphant.

I thought the space poltergeist had good buildup, or at least a pretty creative scare that transitions you into the fight. I was surprised you didn’t mention that detail
No, because the regular sneaker fight does not count, and they both are "minibosses" that become regular enemies, unlike ghosts like the poltergeists, which are more akin to Koopalings

One attempt for Mr. Ice Face. I find that the best boss in the game. It's really hard, which I like, and it feels super rewarding to hit your shots. After some time, it becomes much easier to hit your shots just because good timing is all you need. I can easily see why a lot of people struggle here. I still don't know how I did it in 1 attempt.
ya, i honestly wished this fight was more, but really it's just break the ice then throw a bomb in it's mouth 3 times in a row, no chance. I played this level so many times that I basically got the perfect science down to how to get it. The last phase you blow the 2 middle pieces, then shoot an edge piece, then shoot a bomb high up so it bounces and hits the last middle piece at the right timing. Also it took me so long to realize you had to throw the bomb into its mouth, cus if you shoot too early it doesn't allow you to fire again right away. You had to wait for him to get close.
Okay I’m very bias because I probably have over 1.5k hours in the splatoon franchise (motion controlled shooter) but I’ve always enjoyed this boss, once you get the timing down it’s not hard, general advice is don’t move your cursor after you miss, and time it based off of the location of the ice your trying to hit’s starting position. Plus you can cheese the possessor and stun him before he attacks, something that you can’t do in some other fights
The worst part of the ice boss is that you are taught the mechanics... in the worst way possible. Earlier in the level, there's a section where you need to shoot flaming orbs at ice covered ski lifts, which uses something of the same shooting mechanics. Unfortunately, the way the mechanic is used there, and the way it's used in the boss battle could not be more different from one another. The ski lift section, gives you infinite timer, puts Luigi at no risk whatsoever, has none of this overheating business going on, and puts you under no pressure at all. The actual boss fight has a clear timer before things reset, an overheating device that can cause a game over if hit/the fight drags on too long, has Luigi at severe risk of being killed by the boss' attacks and said overheating mechanic, and basically all but puts a gun to your head and tells you not to mess up or else. It's like being taught to swim with one of those duck floaties in a paddling pool, then getting thrown off on a cliff in the next lesson and told to just "make it to shore somehow" without any of said assistance. Either way, for the most part, I agree with the list, though I thought the setting for the final Poltergeist battle was cool enough to rank it higher than here.
Trying to hit the final small piece in the final phase of the ice boss was prob one of the most agonizing things I have ever done. Especially given how much room for error there is to the point that if it restores the pieces even once you most likely are not going to make it. And that guy spins with 100 km/ph.
While the sister's fight itself is kinda boring, I do like the way it works into the World. You see their tree beds, their three chairs, their three sinks and even their three portraits of when they were alive. As far as it know, it's also the only instance of us directly meeting/ even getting to know the (albeit prior) owner of a mansion (aside from hellen gravelys hotel ig)
@@nothinghere8434 oh really? It's one of the reasons why the haunted Towes are kinda my fav manor. Sadly we never get to meet the gardener though. It's implied that the middle sister, belinda, is the one that loves gardening but we also der that there is a gardeners shack and Lab so there was probably a 4th inhabitant
6:38 the thing with Boolossus is that you have to put him in a good spot. Whenever he does that ground pound attack stay along the edges, then run to the middle so that he gets stunned in the middle of the arena. It's a lot easier to hit the train from the center of the arena.
I love the way your videos are made, with humor and quality formatting and editing! I do disagree with the ice boss, I really liked it. I think it’s atmosphere was done really well and I didn’t have much of a problem with the difficulty. I’d say S
Thanks! Yeah I didn't have a huge issue with it, I would rank it higher if it didn't kill like 30% of players runs (not an accurate number, just based on the number of complaints online).
@@Loner098i think the problem lies in the fact that the game never ever teaches you this "1st person bombs" mechanic in the level. I would create another tier called E tier : not utter trash, but major flaws
Boolosus has a pretty godd buildup, as it’s actually an ambush, where you think it’s the final level, with it even appearing as the boss level until you beat it.
(Late I know, blame the youtube algorithm). 4:51 : This boss was absolutly horrendous, I had to ask my dad to do the shooting part of the boss while I would do the ghost capturing part when I was a kid and I still can't beat that boss as an adult. It is the worst boss I ever had the displeasure of going against. 2:55 : This boss was my faorite however, the stairs prior to the boss are along trek that make the defeat of the boss so satisfying. It feels like you have earned the right to battle and defeat it. The plant aesthetic of that mansion also helps.
You deserve so many more views, your videos are so well made! I personally liked the 3 sisters boss fight, but I agree its not very good, I just enjoyed having ghosts with new designs
Thanks! Yeah I think they fit their environment more than most of the other ghosts. And of course it's nice that they aren't just a different colored Poltergeist lol.
the funny thing about the final boss with King Boo is just the name of the level being so ungodly cool. "A Nightmare to Remember," for whatever reason, that always stuck with me. it was just too perfect of a name for the final confrontation
Honestly absolutely loved this game and is my most replayed game in general. My favorite mansion was the secret mines, its atmosphere, level design, and the concept too the boo’s finding crystals that can boost the power of the ghosts even having 3 ones with the ability to lock off areas have to admit though this is the only boss I actually had to restart on
@@v4n1ty92 why are you mean towards them ? Let them enjoy the game, quit being salty about it. I bought the original version back in 2013, then the remake. I utterly enjoyed both, even tho im a bit pissed about the pricing. Right now, your reply is just the "Quit having fun" meme.
Bro the fact that you gave ice guy the F tier just makes me forgive any other placement that I disagree with. The bossfight is hard yeah, but honestly, sometimes it just DOESN'T work! It's such a shame too, because that boss is cool as hell
If you count polterpup and refightable boos as mini bosses then there would be 5 more bossfights And there are 3 others that could be counted as mini bosses: strong sneaker from C-5 is very similar to the final boss of that area (“it’s just greenies”). The strong ghosts from the crystals (D-2) where you pick who to fight first and then the other two right after. The chained strong ghosts from D-3 (somewhat speak for themselves) they’re stronger than strong due to the chains
I would argue that the strong sneaker from c-5 is also a mid boss I mean he had a greenie army and everything. And he also had the same fight theme as the 3 sisters and the strong poltergeist
When i look back at this game or at least the bosses in it, stuff like the haunted towers boss could've been traded out for way cooler stuff. Like the whole concept is that it's a mansion built around a tree, so why doesn't he posess a tree as the fight? Or if you wanted to keep the staircase and clock (which to be honest aren't very creative) you could've made them minibosses instead after the first world.
I never beat the ice boss during my Dark Moon playthrough. It was so hard that I had to ask my older brother for help! Looking forward to the HD remake so I can (maybe) help my little brother if they don't nerf the difficulty LOL.
That ice monster is the only reason I despise the whole level. The level has a great concept, amazing atmosphere, and overall great level design... but then that boss comes in and ruins anything the level had going for it because of how horrible the fight is. The gyroscope can be so finicky, and the fact that he can't stand still for 1 second makes it a chore to get rid of the ice. Not to mention, if you miss that last shot when hes inhaling, then too bad. You restart the fight and it keeps going and going...
My opinion on some of these bosses changed over the years, here's what I had to say: I used to be terrified of the three sisters, but now if I'm just patient enough and can time it right, I can avoid getting hit at all The staircase boss was always my favorite and I don't really know why, I guess the first part was really fun to me as a kid The clock boss has always been my least favorite because it's not really memorable and it doesn't stand out as much as the others, but hey, at least sucking up three ghosts at once is super satisfying I used to rage a lot on the ice boss but now the only thing that frustrates me is when the center pieces are out of reach and now you just have to wait for it to reset to actually be able to clear it, this is a little biased though because it is my favorite "mansion" after all The three poltergeist fights never really stood out to me, I don't have a lot to say on them I never had problems with Boolossus, I guess rng was on my side every time I fought him lol I loved how nerve-wracking King Boo's fight was, definitely my favorite out of all three games. You should have included the scarescraper bosses too, they're really fun but challenging! (And you get an extra Poltergeist fight lol)
I really liked this video!,the only thing I don't is agree is the ice boss,It's not THAT hard as everyone says, you just have to know when is the best moment to throw the bomb using the ice block as a reference ,when the block is in the right and a little above,is the perfect moment to throw the bomb,or at least that's what I remember,I haven't play this game for years, but I remember being an expert in that boss fight, anyway, good video! Pd:Sorry if I made a mistake,I'm not a native speaker
About the clock: I was missing the final mushroom-shaped ruby in the Old Clockworks and instead risked losing a rank to go out of my way for it in the bonus stage so I wouldn't have to play that long arduous fight all over again. I agree.
For Haunted Towers I originally expected a boss in the form of a giant ass tree, doing the stick and leaf kinda of attacks, trying to pierce you to dead but instead what you get is a little possessed staircase. In my first playtrough, I remember being so disappointed and betrayed for expecting a cool boss….
4:18 fun fact about this. But you can change the arrow by using the poltergust. And it will change the the music. Like, just thought i outta say this useless fun fact Edit: Also to this fun fact, it can also speed up the fight or slow it down.. so for example, if your not going to be able to finish a wave in time. You can use the poltergust's suck function to set the time backwards, giving you way more time to finish a wave. So ye
I don't enjoy it, I think overset possessor is one of the best bosses but as someone who plays Luigi mansion 2 and got up to the king boo fight, I do know those ones, and I did struggle, would but them at f tier, I don't remember music, you only this ONCE in the game, there are no mechanics, just flash and suck, worst part is that THERE IS NO BUILD UP FOR THESE GHOSTS, YOU WANT TO PROGRESS WITH THE MISSION, NO, THESE GHOSTS BLOCK YOUR WAY, they even come in at the shortest level, secret mines
I mean tbf those guys become common enemies, but they do have a lot of health for a strong ghost and they are sorta treated like a mid-boss like the Sneaker in the Old Clockworks. If they were put in this video then I'd imagine they go in F or something lol. No build up, no unique music (Just the standard haunt music) and the only purpose they served is to slow Luigi down. At least they look cool. The Chained Strong Ghosts look awesome lmao. The Strong Sneaker in Old Clockworks was better. C tier imo.
I agree with the statement on the ice boss glad im not the only one who got stuck on it as a kid I only ever got past it cause i told another kid on the bus about it and he beat it for me so i could continue the game As an only child, with no other hope, thank you Tony for letting me enjoy the rest of dark moon
REALLY!? You siked me out on the Ice boss, I thought you were gonna put my favorite boss in S but the reason for F IS THE DIFFICULTY!? Isn’t that the point of Bosses? To be difficult and give you a challenge.
The mechanic of shooting things is introduced before the Shrewd Possessor fight, the problem is that it’s only used to hit stationary targets, not moving ones, so we weren’t properly prepared for what the fight would ask of us. But even if it had, that still wouldn’t excuse the downright cruel design of the boss. If you don’t take out the central part of its armor before it reaches the bottom, you have essentially lost then and there because it takes way too long to regenerate and come back up. Also I feel the encounter with the Strong Sneeker in the Old Clockworks counts as a miniboss, as the mission does build up to the fight and uses the same music from the Three Sisters and Strong Poltergeist fights.
i played this game when i was ten, played it over and over again and still play it today. the fact that u put shrewd possessor in F tier… i taking your ranking license
There was one right before you enter the portal to King Boo, where there were a bunch of enemies all coming out of the portal and you had to defeat all of them in a limited time (I think).
Three Sisters gets a lot more credit from me personally simply for having the most distinct designs. All the possessors look pretty much the same and 3 out of 5 of their actual fights range from mid to cursed, and as you pointed out, the ancient and strong poltergeists are basically recycled
You can disable the i(nformation) cards from popping up by clicking on the gear icon seen by moving your mouse over the video and disabling annotations. 1:22 Top right for more context.
The sisters felt the closest to a portrait ghost from the first game and had unique designs, so they made me very excited the first time I saw them. I thought they would foreshadow better unique bosses down the road. They did not.
Ice cave boss was my favorite. Its just timing based. Aim down the middle so the bomb will hit the bottom and shoot when u think the piece will be at the bottom. I would always replay that boss
words cannot describe how much beef i have with that ice ghost. i’ve only been able to beat it twice because of how difficult it is to time the bombs. i hope they fix it in the remastered version
I played the switch version of the Dark mine Ice boss and only just passed it first try. (In the second phase, he refroze the defence ice 2 times and the sled nearly reached toasty heat levels.) Ironically, the 3rd phase was a breeze. (It took me about 20 or so attempts to beat it in the 3DS version 10 years ago.)
How is the ice guy difficult? I wouldve ranked him A, he looks cool, mechanics are cool, i like the soundtrack and i found him easy. By the third phase i had enough practice to hit all of the ice blocks first try.
Honestly, I think my favorite boss in the game is the staircase monster. He looks so goofy and makes me chuckle watching him do his big dumb animations and make his big dumb sounds. He’s not mechanically intensive at all, so on a technical level it’s a step down from the spider, but I love him significantly more because he’s just a goofball. Silliness and whimsy wins every time in my eyes.
The only 2 things id change about this tier list is the placement of “Showtime” its not really a boss fight it's more of a gauntlet but it's still REALLY fun imo And the 3 sisters is another one that should be moved. Yes it's bland, but them being the owners of haunted towers was really cool and a cool detail too.
1) Poltergeist (solid ranking - A is deserved) 2) Grouchy Possessor (A-Tier is fair) 3) 3 sisters (yeah....I can't disagree with you on that.) 4) Harsh Possessor (yeah... Honestly, the boss could have gone with something entirely different.) 5) Ancient Poltergeist (would have loved for a unique remix of the Piano theme for his boss theme... but legit he is a freaking joke. You can stand in the sand pit and as long as you keep your distance, and stay near the edge, you can dodge the bonbs and not even have to run around said boss) 6) Strong Sneaker (this was skipped but it's a decent fight as you have to fight 3 waves of greenies before the Strong Sneaker attacks (as if he is summoning minions before the battle) 7) Overset Possessor (Low B-tier for me. I think the build up was solid enough. A boss gauntlet is a solid idea. Maybe if it was a bit harder, I think it would be entertaining. 8) Shrewed Possessor (honestly, B-Tier.... so many people struggled with this fight, and it's hilarious that people bitch about it so much, and yet the game teases you a tutorial with the Potato cannon in Haunted Towers for a Gem... and then later on with the Gondola itself. It does EXACTLY what is intended. they are tutorials on how to use the weapon before the boss, and yet because people don't get a "Eggad Phonecall, telling you how to use the machine or an actual tutorial, they get frustrated with this fight and lose. This fight is better than Overset)) 9) Strong Poltergeist (Ok fight but yeah, it's a bit weak) 10) Big Boo (this fight is annoying.... but it is the hardest mission to 3-star. So it deserves a low B) 11) Tough Possessor (high B-Tier or low A-Tier would have loved for more knight posssesion for the rest of the mansion.) 12) King Boo (SSS Tier.... Legit King Boo has never been better until Dark Moon came out and made him an actual threat.
Please remake, for the love of god fix the ice boss... Also the key glitch in scarescraper (if you didn't know, sometimes keys show up on the minimap but the key just isn't in the room at all) absolute nightmare in endless mode, god tier gamemode otherwise though
tbh, i know im gonna sound dumb but i LOVVE the ice boss, i believe its build up is amazing, the music is just, perfect, i will say its a CHALLENGE but i also have to say that i love the challenge, idk why but its so goddam cool
I did like the shrewd possessor fight. Of course, it took me a few tries and the boss could've have much better attack patterns but for me it was a memorable boss
The fight against Armor Possessor and King Boo was heavily welcomed after the rage inducing Ice Facade 😂😂 the mansion before. Frankly the introduction of the portals made the final mansion such a fun "final area" that required you to use everything you learned throughout the game. F Chilly Ride tho.
I remember kinda enjoying the ice boss when i did my first playthrough. Wasnt awful, was a little tricky, and unique, but nothing super extreme or amazing. Then i tried getting a 3 star rank on every level. You cannot take a single hit of damage on that fight if you want the 3 star rank. I have despised it ever since then. Source: I did it several times across multiple different copies of dark moon because my games kept getting lost or stolen. Currently working on the switch version. 3 starred all of gloomy manor!
hot take: the boo train was a good fight to me. it wasn't too hard to get the hang of, it was pretty clever, and it was a good fakeout (at least in my opinion)
3:04 "The setting: *ss, music: *ss, concept: *ss." Why does the letter S have to sound like *ss? Also the Strong Poltergeist in the Treacherous Mansion does have music. It's the same music as in the fight against the Three Sisters in the Haunted Towers and also the ghost ambush in mission C-5 in the Old Clockworks.
You forgot about D-3, I would consider that a midboss because you have to fight three ghosts with harder evolutions than their regular and strong forms just to progress.
I personally think that both the second and fourth possessors are the easiest or just not so impressive bosses. The second possessor only has 2 attacks : Slam and shoot blue fire, and that’s it, you can just walk around in circles and he won’t hit you, however, I did like the concept of the fight being a bit bizarre given the fact that you’re facing a literal staircase. Now, the fourth one is also just easy for me, I never lost to him, you just have to aim properly and hit him, while he doesn’t attack. Even if you miss the bomb that has to get inside his mouth, you’ll still have time to throw another one and release the ghost, what I liked about this boss is that the possessor’s idea was just escaping deep down within the mines to take the moon piece and we have to chase him, or he escapes with the piece. And a little side note, I feel like they overused the Poltergeist way too much, he appeared in 3 worlds as a ghost that would make you go all the way around the map to find a way to get into the room he is, and heck, he’s even the final boss in the scarescraper.

i suddenly feel like i’m somehow the only one that didn’t have that much difficulty with the secret mine boss compared to everyone else
You are the only one, that boss is the hardest one in the game
That boss made me cry as a kid
I struggled with it, but i also really like the boss
you're not alone, it was hard at first but I spent less than a day stuck on it.
Yeah, it was hard, but I always enjoyed it and only found out recently that people actually hated it.
Yooo, I never realized that! Great observation!
@@nothinghere8434 oh really? It's one of the reasons why the haunted Towes are kinda my fav manor.
Sadly we never get to meet the gardener though. It's implied that the middle sister, belinda, is the one that loves gardening but we also der that there is a gardeners shack and Lab so there was probably a 4th inhabitant
the cutscene with the giant knight is so fucking good
Haven't seen a Tier List video in a long while
Yeah maybe a slightly dated format, not sure, hope it was still enjoyable!
Literally had to special summon my dad who makes video games to beat the ice boss. It was worth it, the knight was cool.
6:38 the thing with Boolossus is that you have to put him in a good spot. Whenever he does that ground pound attack stay along the edges, then run to the middle so that he gets stunned in the middle of the arena. It's a lot easier to hit the train from the center of the arena.
You forgot about the 3 chain ghosts from the Secret Mine. Those are also mid bosses.
Those aren’t really that special. It’s basically like the crystal ghosts but you just gotta search for them
I have absolutely no clue what this means but i like this.
lol thanks man!
I thought the ice boss was a bit frustrating but I got through it fast.
I think at least a D-tier would suffice for those who somehow enjoyed the ice boss in that regard.
Tough possessor was truly the dark soils of luigis mansion bosses
You forgot the Strong Sneaker in C-5, but this is a great video!! Keep the good content up!
He’s the very first strong ghost
dude your humor is totally on point, super enjoyable video regardless of your placement of the bosses
I'm going to be frank with you. It's not until I came to the comments that I realised you weren't Nathaniel Bandy.
The shrewd possessor is so good at being a boss it’s just unbeatable
the funny thing about the final boss with King Boo is just the name of the level being so ungodly cool. "A Nightmare to Remember," for whatever reason, that always stuck with me. it was just too perfect of a name for the final confrontation
Honestly absolutely loved this game and is my most replayed game in general. My favorite mansion was the secret mines, its atmosphere, level design, and the concept too the boo’s finding crystals that can boost the power of the ghosts even having 3 ones with the ability to lock off areas have to admit though this is the only boss I actually had to restart on
I just got luigis mansion 2 and im at the clockworks level 3 now, the ancient poltergeist was hyped up a good amount, i was pretty exited to fight him
How does it feel to know you spent 60 dollars on an 11 year old game that originally costed 40
@@v4n1ty92worth every penny imo
@@v4n1ty92 why are you mean towards them ?
Let them enjoy the game, quit being salty about it.
I bought the original version back in 2013, then the remake.
I utterly enjoyed both, even tho im a bit pissed about the pricing.
Right now, your reply is just the "Quit having fun" meme.
You left out the 3 chain ghosts in secret mine, and the strong sneaker in C-5
Bro the fact that you gave ice guy the F tier just makes me forgive any other placement that I disagree with. The bossfight is hard yeah, but honestly, sometimes it just DOESN'T work! It's such a shame too, because that boss is cool as hell
litterally cool we get it its a pun
@@Battledroid1027 Pun not intended btw
If you count polterpup and refightable boos as mini bosses then there would be 5 more bossfights
And there are 3 others that could be counted as mini bosses: strong sneaker from C-5 is very similar to the final boss of that area (“it’s just greenies”). The strong ghosts from the crystals (D-2) where you pick who to fight first and then the other two right after. The chained strong ghosts from D-3 (somewhat speak for themselves) they’re stronger than strong due to the chains
Who tf says the polterpup is a mini boss
It doesn’t even fight you, all it does is steal from you and run away
@@astrotheunhingedguy gimmicky
I would argue that the strong sneaker from c-5 is also a mid boss
I mean he had a greenie army and everything.
Never been a Luigis mansion fan but your comment makes me wanna play it again
YYEEEEESSSSS thank you for putting that boss in F tier
I remember grinding to beat that boss for HOURS
I never beat the ice boss during my Dark Moon playthrough. It was so hard that I had to ask my older brother for help! Looking forward to the HD remake so I can (maybe) help my little brother if they don't nerf the difficulty LOL.
strong poltergeist was one of my favorite boss fights
That ice monster is the only reason I despise the whole level. The level has a great concept, amazing atmosphere, and overall great level design... but then that boss comes in and ruins anything the level had going for it because of how horrible the fight is. The gyroscope can be so finicky, and the fact that he can't stand still for 1 second makes it a chore to get rid of the ice. Not to mention, if you miss that last shot when hes inhaling, then too bad. You restart the fight and it keeps going and going...
My opinion on some of these bosses changed over the years, here's what I had to say:
I used to be terrified of the three sisters, but now if I'm just patient enough and can time it right, I can avoid getting hit at all
The staircase boss was always my favorite and I don't really know why, I guess the first part was really fun to me as a kid
The clock boss has always been my least favorite because it's not really memorable and it doesn't stand out as much as the others, but hey, at least sucking up three ghosts at once is super satisfying
I used to rage a lot on the ice boss but now the only thing that frustrates me is when the center pieces are out of reach and now you just have to wait for it to reset to actually be able to clear it, this is a little biased though because it is my favorite "mansion" after all
The three poltergeist fights never really stood out to me, I don't have a lot to say on them
I never had problems with Boolossus, I guess rng was on my side every time I fought him lol
I loved how nerve-wracking King Boo's fight was, definitely my favorite out of all three games.
You should have included the scarescraper bosses too, they're really fun but challenging! (And you get an extra Poltergeist fight lol)
You deserve more attention!
You've earned a sub from me!
Thank you!
literally everyone: "OMG ICE BOSS IS SO SUPER HARD!!!"
me who actually enjoyed it and beat it on the 3rd attempt, on day 2:
I really liked this video!,the only thing I don't is agree is the ice boss,It's not THAT hard as everyone says, you just have to know when is the best moment to throw the bomb using the ice block as a reference ,when the block is in the right and a little above,is the perfect moment to throw the bomb,or at least that's what I remember,I haven't play this game for years, but I remember being an expert in that boss fight, anyway, good video!
Pd:Sorry if I made a mistake,I'm not a native speaker
Is it only me who loves the Graveyard Sister tier list
The only tier list that I actually agree with on every single thing said.
11/10 tier list.
About the clock: I was missing the final mushroom-shaped ruby in the Old Clockworks and instead risked losing a rank to go out of my way for it in the bonus stage so I wouldn't have to play that long arduous fight all over again. I agree.
Glad to see im not the only one who had a childhood hatred for the ice boss in LM2.
I remember that you could launch multiple boos at once in the Boolossus fight. Really helped in my playthrough on the switch version.
you’ve really helped me understand this better, thank you!
I, too, was stuck at the rice cake
Was very happy when I beat this thing with three stars back then
2:30 not if you go by fishing rules! You can let the one on your line drag you to help you dodge the other 2 sisters
4:18 fun fact about this. But you can change the arrow by using the poltergust. And it will change the the music. Like, just thought i outta say this useless fun fact
Edit: Also to this fun fact, it can also speed up the fight or slow it down.. so for example, if your not going to be able to finish a wave in time. You can use the poltergust's suck function to set the time backwards, giving you way more time to finish a wave. So ye
That's a really good fun fact, I'm gonna try
Bro thought he can drop a Luigi mansion 2 boss tier list without the ghosts with chains and we wouldn't notice
And I would have gotten away with it too if it wasn't for you meddling ghost with chain enjoyers!
He also forgot the Strong Sneaker in Old Clockworks-
Am I the only one who liked the Clockwork one just for because it‘s ghost. I mean I always redoing it over and over again for money and stuff.
C tier imo.
I agree with the statement on the ice boss
glad im not the only one who got stuck on it as a kid
I only ever got past it cause i told another kid on the bus about it and he beat it for me so i could continue the game
As an only child, with no other hope, thank you Tony for letting me enjoy the rest of dark moon
You just earned a subscriber. Love the luigis mansion content. 👌
Thanks, expect more this Fall!
Charlie remember me when you become famous
Wow i found the ice boss really easy as a kid
Nice tier ranking, yeah, the ice boss was pretty difficult, anyways, keep it up!
I beat this game back when i was 8 years old. The nostalgia hits HARD and im so happy that Nintendo is bringing it to the Switch.
When I did the ice boss, I did get frustrated over the misses, but didn't even notice the overheating meter. Probably why I somehow beat it first try.
i played this game when i was ten, played it over and over again and still play it today. the fact that u put shrewd possessor in F tier… i taking your ranking license
Oh yeah, thanks for that! That'll definitely be useful in the future.
Honestly, i kind of like the ice boss since i like a good challenge and gyro control was not a problem for me. but that’s just my opinion
The sisters felt the closest to a portrait ghost from the first game and had unique designs, so they made me very excited the first time I saw them. I thought they would foreshadow better unique bosses down the road.
They did not.
that one guy: WhErE'S ThE BrAiN?
Here after the Switch port announcement 😌
The only 2 things id change about this tier list is the placement of “Showtime” its not really a boss fight it's more of a gauntlet but it's still REALLY fun imo
And the 3 sisters is another one that should be moved. Yes it's bland, but them being the owners of haunted towers was really cool and a cool detail too.
1) Poltergeist (solid ranking - A is deserved)
2) Grouchy Possessor (A-Tier is fair)
3) 3 sisters (yeah....I can't disagree with you on that.)
4) Harsh Possessor (yeah... Honestly, the boss could have gone with something entirely different.)
5) Ancient Poltergeist (would have loved for a unique remix of the Piano theme for his boss theme... but legit he is a freaking joke. You can stand in the sand pit and as long as you keep your distance, and stay near the edge, you can dodge the bonbs and not even have to run around said boss)
6) Strong Sneaker (this was skipped but it's a decent fight as you have to fight 3 waves of greenies before the Strong Sneaker attacks (as if he is summoning minions before the battle)
7) Overset Possessor (Low B-tier for me.
This fight is better than Overset))
9) Strong Poltergeist (Ok fight but yeah, it's a bit weak)
10) Big Boo (this fight is annoying.... but it is the hardest mission to 3-star. So it deserves a low B)
11) Tough Possessor (high B-Tier or low A-Tier would have loved for more knight posssesion for the rest of the mansion.)
12) King Boo (SSS Tier.... Legit King Boo has never been better until Dark Moon came out and made him an actual threat.
Please remake, for the love of god fix the ice boss...
Also the key glitch in scarescraper (if you didn't know, sometimes keys show up on the minimap but the key just isn't in the room at all) absolute nightmare in endless mode, god tier gamemode otherwise though
its a remaster, not a remake im pretty sure. but they’re likely to offer a non motion control scheme which would definitely help
tbh, i know im gonna sound dumb but i LOVVE the ice boss, i believe its build up is amazing, the music is just, perfect, i will say its a CHALLENGE but i also have to say that i love the challenge, idk why but its so goddam cool
I did like the shrewd possessor fight. Of course, it took me a few tries and the boss could've have much better attack patterns but for me it was a memorable boss
i only remember the first 2 mansions, a little tiny bit of mines, and the king boo fight
I'm w8ing also for zelda skyword sword and kirby Adventure wii videos
The fight against Armor Possessor and King Boo was heavily welcomed after the rage inducing Ice Facade 😂😂 the mansion before.
Frankly the introduction of the portals made the final mansion such a fun "final area" that required you to use everything you learned throughout the game.
F Chilly Ride tho.
I rember the spider literally took me 3 hours just to get past the first puzzle 💀
I loved the ice and clock boss I never failed and in (my opinion) it’s the best besides the knight
hot take: the boo train was a good fight to me. it wasn't too hard to get the hang of, it was pretty clever, and it was a good fakeout (at least in my opinion)
The quality of the Shrewd Possessor ultimately comes down to "Do you know how to beat this guy?" and the answer is either "yes" or "no"
Average Kingdom Hearts gameplay:
"Youre probably not going to get stuck on this boss"
Me getting stuck on the 3 sisters and never being able to play the rest of the game because of it
why is the staircase higher than the clocktower?
All bosses are S-B tier i love this game
3:04 "The setting: *ss, music: *ss, concept: *ss." Why does the letter S have to sound like *ss?
Also the Strong Poltergeist in the Treacherous Mansion does have music. It's the same music as in the fight against the Three Sisters in the Haunted Towers and also the ghost ambush in mission C-5 in the Old Clockworks.
You forgot about D-3, I would consider that a midboss because you have to fight three ghosts with harder evolutions than their regular and strong forms just to progress.
I am probably the only person in the world that likes the ice boss. I did him first try
Sorry but in my opinion the blue poltergeist is A! Great build up fron the chapter before and cool fight..
