I absolutely fucking love that when he's checking the radio you can hear a distant "WAIT WHAT?" from a sub, and the guy looks so confused. Perfect timing.
I'm no nuclear fallout bunker engineer, but if the inside of the bunker was being flooded with highly radioactive air, wouldn't that mean that outside air is also super bad too? Doesn't it pump in bad air and filter to make it good mean that the air outside is bad in the end? Or is the air recycled in the bunker, but somehow if it isn't filtered the air is just ruined with radiation?
I saw a UA-camr who, after playing it, theorized that it was the ventilation that was still radioactive. The outside was fine, the inside of the ventilation was what was contaminated, though. With the only thing that was protecting the inside of the shelter was the sealed filters, which our unfortunate hero accidentally opened up.
it isn't necessarily radioactive air. It could just be radioactive dust that was sitting on top of the filter. When the filter broke, the radioactive dust would be spread throughout the entire facility thanks to the A/C system.
pieisdelish1 Nah it wasn't that b, the story behind it was obvious for me and the entire idea has already been done better but they did a good job just not as good as other people
pretty sure he was trying to make it more funny by expecting too much from the game - namely actually putting in death scenes (which is waaay to hard to do)
I watched someone else play this game and honestly never thought the pacing was off. Jerma is genuinely taking the time to attempt to make a joke about every. single. prop encountered and physical movement or sound the character makes before proceeding to the next step and then blaming the game for not progressing quickly enough, lmao.
Frögemann Pepe Von Schuürburgenzen the Third H No, when Styx Renegade donated $105 to Jerma he mentioned the Ster/Jerma Stream Archive channel in the donor message. Somewhere around 15:45
2:53, 4:47 "What's the deal with Massachusetts, fireworks being *illegal* ." THANK YOU! HOLY SHIT! IT'S RIDICULOUS, RIGHT? I'm fucking, like waiting my whole life when I was living in Canada like "Oh, I'm gonna move to the USA and set off sooooo many fireworks!" Nope! They're illegal in Massachusetts. What, the fuck.
I think it was implied during the game, at some point, that the ventilation system could remain contaminated, due to the way it was designed, even if the outside became all clear. Not that that was a problem, because of the sealed filters... Which our clumsy fellow accidentally opened up.
This game isn't good, but it has some interesting concepts in it and Jerma getting mad at it because it doesn't have monsters is kind of arbitrary, though he might be joking.
Jerma’s jokes were making me forget about the game’s content to the point that when the guy broke his arm and it showed his bone coming out I immediately had to pause, I suddenly felt so lightheaded and sick and this man was playing WALLACE AND GROMIT MUSIC💀
I used to not give thumbs up, as although i enjoyed the fact you archived these streams.. I was not sure as to how Jerma and Star actually felt about you doing this. Seeing as now you have at least a slight nod of approval from the jermz, Ill dispense with the likes post-haste. Thanks for the work you guys do.. I just wish Jermz and Sterrrz got some sort of slight kick-back. But i guess advertising and displaying something that would otherwise be lost is worth it enough.
We talked to Jerma and Ster about this channel, well we talked to people who then asked them on our behalf, and both of them said they are ok with us doing it. We don't make any money off of these videos, we do it so people can go back and watch old streams that they enjoyed at one point.
Ah, I guess then I was judging too quickly in the past. You can understand, there are a lot of idiots on this site who do things less-than above the board. Obviously this channel is not one of them given the information.
Glad we got the small nod of approval from him, he seems happy that they are being preserved. Trust me, as starkiller said, we tried hard to get their permission which they said yes. The only reason there should ever be ads on our videos is due to copyright songs that may force ads on the video, or if the money goes straight to Ster and Jerma, which we have asked if they wanted to do that in which they said no. So that means no ads.
Yeah that is because Jerma thought it would be funny to play Star Wars music. Got this video both restricted for certain devices and monetized by Disney. Sorry.
Is it me or did Jerma kinda seemed to not care much that this channel was saving vids? He kinda rushed talking about the channel when he talked about it.
The problem is that when player choice and input in the outcome of a game is reduced to just pressing a few buttons and selecting a few options, or in extreme cases is almost completely not there, they don't like it. People are used to having control over what happens in their game, so when a game whose only input required from the player is to occasionally make a decision comes along, it feels pointless to make the story into a game at all. Plus, a lot of these kinds of games can't really sell their emotions well because character interactions are often set up in a way that expects you to choose one option, and thus causes a tonal or emotional shift when you choose a different option that can often break immersion.
It has to do with lack of control. The moment the game gives me a set of options, and I do not want to commit to any of the listed options, that is the moment when the game becomes unplayable to me. At that point, I'm no longer playing a game, I'm watching a movie. To provide such variation in a cinematic game is difficult, because for every choice+stage = event, you must create the stage and event by-hand, and you immediately hit an exponential wall (8 choices with 8 stages = 16,777,216 events). Thus player choice must be limited, and why they're always so dreadful to play. On the other hand, a game that doesn't have to deal with cinematic can calculate stages/events based off previous choices and you don't ever hit this wall and never have to limit the player-choice.
i'm actually only 43 minutes into this video and this game doesn't look fun BUT the lead guy is actually doing a half decent performance as "boy who grew up in a fallout shelter and thus has a lower mental capacity than pre-war citizens" which begs the question, why not just make a short film out of this material? if planescape torment or dark souls was turned into a game like these, they certainly wouldn't be able to put across the subtle story and sense of immersion, would they? a cinematic "game" is no better than a cinematic advertisement that you pay for. obviously opinions on games like these are subjective but there seems to be no reason other than money to not make these into movies/short films which comes across superficial and greedy, like they're cashing in on a trend. warcraft 3 had some of the best cinematics in videogame history and a huge amount of gameplay to boot, why don't these devs focus on making something as groundbreaking as that? in conclusion, it makes the target demographic think they just want money and not to make a great game or story.
Wow, old jerma was kinda... annoying in these kinds of games. Spent the whole stream "When's the game starting? When does it turn into an FPS action game? This isnt scary, where are the monsters? I wanna be the guy with the gas mask killin' everybody. Are we really getting to the end of the game already? Agh, another fucking flashback!!" Like, jesus christ man, maybe you shouldnt have been streaming these kind of slow story-centered serious games. Idk (The gromit bit was pretty funny though. And i didnt hate watching this, jerma was just abit annoying throughout lol)
The one and only character in this game is just not at the least bit likeable at all. Granted Jerma did make it a lot longer than it needed to be by failing the QTEs, but even then the "cutscenes" were just way too long and drawn out for no reason. He breaks his arm from the shortest fall, acts like a baby about it for the rest of the game. And it makes absolutely no sense for there to be enough radiation leaking into the bunker for him to be worried about, when the surface is apparently completely fine. If you're planning on going to the surface without a hazmat suit or anything, a leak into the bunker wouldn't make a difference.
This is why you don't base opinions of games on Jerma playthroughs. You'd have picked up on more than ¼ of the story if you'd watched someone else or played yourself, lol. Love Jerma, but he pretty much always dislikes anything plot-heavy and action-lite.

This 30 year old man is pretty much a 10 year old boy, poor dude.
local English mom kills her co-workers to make her son a man child
It says something about our society.
the guy in the game too
I absolutely fucking love that when he's checking the radio you can hear a distant "WAIT WHAT?" from a sub, and the guy looks so confused. Perfect timing.
This game is incredibly sad and jerma is making Wallace and Grommit jokes
Yeah. I wonder if he'd make the same jokes now, post COVID
Talking starts at 1:06 Game starts at 5:43 Game actually starts at 23:45
*Game actually starts at 1:52:14
"drink some goddamn milk"
Jerma I don't think that nuclear fallout shelter has cows.
Wallace and Gromit bit funniest thing ever
At 1:16:10, I died

The madness starts at 32:45 lmao
mellowmonticello on today's episode, Wallace Fucking DIES
1:00:24 Everyone please enjoy this magnificent moment, its so perfect with the music.

Yes lmfao, it's a huge plothole
also, radiation doesn't work that way, it can't just "stay in the ventilation" whilst not being outside
@@backwhenarmyoftwofirstcame2873 you died again?
it isn't necessarily radioactive air. It could just be radioactive dust that was sitting on top of the filter. When the filter broke, the radioactive dust would be spread throughout the entire facility thanks to the A/C system.
1:47:30 Holy fuck watching this part live almost made me die
Same omfg
just another day in gromittown
Watching this almost five years later, I am super grateful you backed these up.
the buncka
When Jerma used the Wallace and Gromit theme after he fell off the ladder I actually let out a "JERma", never change Jeremy
1:44:37 BORK
"This game is so boring" "Where is this going"
Doesn't do any of the QTEs and makes it last even longer
Noah Fisher Thats the Jerma garantee! Looking for actual gameplay with mediocre-to-low skill? Sorry, we dont even have *that*.
Noah Fisher to be fair, the game does suck.
pieisdelish1 then why delay it? Just get it over with
pieisdelish1 Nah it wasn't that b, the story behind it was obvious for me and the entire idea has already been done better but they did a good job just not as good as other people
pretty sure he was trying to make it more funny by expecting too much from the game - namely actually putting in death scenes (which is waaay to hard to do)
Hey, @Star/Jerma Stream Archive, you get mentioned at 15:40
Vincent i meant to give them a shoutout weeks earlier but I forgot
BELOVED CHARACTER WALLACE IN PAIN LAUGHED AT BY RAGING STREAMER
All his Mother did was tell him, “It’s okay! It’ll be okay! Don’t worry, sweet baby.”
She made him this way.
Jerma being bored with a game leads to the most hilarious jokes, I swear
You're welcome guys. Starkiller thanked me yesterday for the shoutout.
Thanks again.
starkiller201096x thank you guys for preserving the great and tiny streamer
don't forget the high IQ.
Now they ll finally know about the ARCHIVE!
Singularity's Marauder uh did they not know about ot before
I watched someone else play this game and honestly never thought the pacing was off.
Jerma is genuinely taking the time to attempt to make a joke about every. single. prop encountered and physical movement or sound the character makes before proceeding to the next step and then blaming the game for not progressing quickly enough, lmao.
That ending was such bullshit too.
Jerma needs a friendly helper in chat to guide him through understanding the used narrative devices in game plots...
Oh hey this channel gets mentioned in this video! Jerma approves.
Icebrick One I forgot to mention them weeks earlier so I decided to last night
Styx Renegade Lol are you pretending to be jerma? XD
Frögemann Pepe Von Schuürburgenzen the Third H No, when Styx Renegade donated $105 to Jerma he mentioned the Ster/Jerma Stream Archive channel in the donor message. Somewhere around 15:45
Not a big fan of these movie games but Jerma makes them entertaining
god i miss the jerma FMV era
2:53, 4:47
"What's the deal with Massachusetts, fireworks being *illegal* ."
THANK YOU! HOLY SHIT! IT'S RIDICULOUS, RIGHT? I'm fucking, like waiting my whole life when I was living in Canada like "Oh, I'm gonna move to the USA and set off sooooo many fireworks!" Nope! They're illegal in Massachusetts. What, the fuck.
1:16:06 made my whole body hurt last night
1:47:02 That's the exact sound file for the dogs from Darkwood, what the frick
I’ve always laughed and giggled at Jerma, but with the Wallace and Gromit theme I full on cried.
in this episode, wallace breaks his arm
"FEED US! WE'RE ALL DOGS!"
1:44:40
That dog barking bit is one of my favorite jerma jokes
Sour patch kids are like onions
Wallace and Grommit had me in tears
Where did all the radiations come from then
I think it was implied during the game, at some point, that the ventilation system could remain contaminated, due to the way it was designed, even if the outside became all clear. Not that that was a problem, because of the sealed filters... Which our clumsy fellow accidentally opened up.
This how I die. Laughing too much at this video and fainting so many times I die. At least I had basically 1 hour and 55 minutes of fun.
1:41:21 They literally just did an Among Us sabotage.
This game isn't good, but it has some interesting concepts in it and Jerma getting mad at it because it doesn't have monsters is kind of arbitrary, though he might be joking.
The pirate spy dada dada dada dededed.................. let me tell a story of me old booones
7:50 I thought that said "The Burger" for a moment.

"YOU'RE GONNA GO TO JAIL IF YOU SHOOT OFF A FIREWORK" IM FUCKING CRYING
Jerma’s jokes were making me forget about the game’s content to the point that when the guy broke his arm and it showed his bone coming out I immediately had to pause, I suddenly felt so lightheaded and sick and this man was playing WALLACE AND GROMIT MUSIC💀
Why is Dion Phaneuf the main character
Jerma can make even the shittiest games absolutely hilarious
Theses new episodes of Wallace and Gromit sure are weird
maybe I can work out the code
I need the code
The wallace and gromit stream
I hate looking at this thumbnail everyday
What the hell, this is actually a good movie (and I do admit it is a movie). I mean, come on. I enjoyed it. It's extremely well-made.
TOXIC Milk Productions. It's a good movie, but it's not a good game.
Its a good movie if you're a brain-dead illiterate.
I remember having a conversation with the first $100 donator. He's actually pretty cool.
1:28:50 1:44:35 1:45:33

Why is this video not available for me??? :(
because fuck you
He played star wars music so it is blocked on some devices.

I think as long as they got permission and don't make money off of their content, it's all fine! I love jerma and this channel is a blessing imo !
We talked to Jerma and Ster about this channel, well we talked to people who then asked them on our behalf, and both of them said they are ok with us doing it. We don't make any money off of these videos, we do it so people can go back and watch old streams that they enjoyed at one point.

umm is it just me or does it say this video is not available
it doesn't work on some devices because jerma played star wars music.
starkiller201096x thx
Why is the video unavailable to me?
cant watch this on a phone :c
Yeah that is because Jerma thought it would be funny to play Star Wars music. Got this video both restricted for certain devices and monetized by Disney. Sorry.
UH Im watching it in a Samsung phone. What phone do you have?
it's ZTE
he said he looks like wallace, and i turned on the theme as a joke, and 2minutes later jerma does the same joke xD
BARK! lol
Is it me or did Jerma kinda seemed to not care much that this channel was saving vids? He kinda rushed talking about the channel when he talked about it.
SuperJBgaming Twitch VODs expire and Jerma doesn't upload full streams to UA-cam, so yeah, it seems like he doesn't care.
Yeah at 15:40 he said it's great they're preserving it! :D
For some reason can't watch this on mobile
Me neither, it's weird
it is because jerma played star wars music and the stream got monetized and blocked for some mobile devices
Not me it's edited cause I can't spell
I don't understand why a game being "just a movie" is a bad thing. I always find that a terrible, close minded argument against cinematic games.
Doesn't mean I think this game is good, it's poor when compared to some similar ones but if you're in the right mood for it it's not awful.
DommY CS When there's so little player input, then why make it a game? Just make a movie.
Fuck, this was a good stream.
good channel, even jerma thinks so too!!!
This 'Game' is 20 bucks, yeah fucking right. It should be at least 5 maybe less.
Never base your assessment of a game on a Jerma playthrough. He made this game like 5× longer than it needed to be, lol.
Moom
Muum
Jerma seriously needs ADHD medicine.
Nice unavailable video
on a mobile device? that is because jerma played star wars music, got the video unavailable for certain devices
Jerma is a horrible, horrible person. A funny person, but still a horrible one nuntheless.
What
Sorry?
Coming to you straight from a member of the cast, it is a salty opinion!
Wow, old jerma was kinda... annoying in these kinds of games. Spent the whole stream

You gotta remember the main character is incredibly sheltered and is basically an overgrown 10 year old. That’s just the character itself
This is why you don't base opinions of games on Jerma playthroughs. You'd have picked up on more than ¼ of the story if you'd watched someone else or played yourself, lol. Love Jerma, but he pretty much always dislikes anything plot-heavy and action-lite.
