Thank you Malu, I get it and I don’t think you’re a bully.💕 I believe that art is an out pouring of the heart. Our stories make us who we are. My hope is to connect with you on a level beyond a step by step tutorial. There is a lesson in the peach story that connects to this project. I hope you stick around and learn to love my style but if you don’t I understand. ❤️ thanks for watching!

It's gorgeous! I feel you on the peaches. We went to Oregon when I was 11 and picked ripe peaches from the tree and ate them right there. I was forever ruined for any store bought peach. Great video miss Debi!

Debi, the chest is so gorgeous! I just love all the ornate detailing, textures, colour choices and stenciling. Your work is on a whole other level. The peaches story was hilarious. When you got to the part where you all went back to the peach stand and it was closed I cracked up. 😂😂😂 You tell wonderful stories to keep viewers engaged. Thank you! ❤

Beautiful as always. About a year ago,
I show a friend your YT. And told her I always wanted to do this! She is a artist and said go for it! She helped me. I painted my daughter dresser and she added pictures. It came out nice, but not perfect. I told my self I would go back and corrected some parts. I didn’t even seal it for this reason. Well life got busy and I didn’t get back to it. We use use the dresser and sometimes I would say I need to go back and finish it. The funny thing is everyone who see’s the dresser saids it’s beautiful. It’s me who has a perfectionist mind set that’s gets in my way. If it wasn’t for your work you do on here and sharing your stories like you do and my friend pushing me I wouldn’t even have tried. I so glad I did! This story and your talking about being a perfectionist reminds me to just try and do something! Now I am inspired to touch up the dresser and seal it. Also, to work out something new! Thank you a million times. God bless you!

I was a Decorative Painter for over 20 years, it never ceases to amaze me how whiny (for lack of a better word) some people are. If you have issues with the way someone explains or shows you something...move along, don't suggest how they should conduct themselves. Maybe people don't get it....it's free. Go take a class plan on spending anywhere from $1500-3000 plus airfare, food, and hotel experiences on top of that. They are more direct no stories, no messing around, no checking to make sure you "got" it. Some might print out a "guideline" most prefer you take your own notes...good luck trying to make your sample and trying to write how to do it. I myself enjoy the stories it's more personal, friendly, leisurely way to learn and to enjoy what your crafting. Some classes you head back home absolutely exhausted. I appreciate you Debi and thank you for your time and knowledge given freely 💜

Love, love, love your stories, your work, your style, AND your love of peaches. And when I say I totally understand your infatuation with finding the perfect peach, I mean it on a whole different level. Fifty years ago I married a peach farmer, and I have spent the last fifty summers striving to sell the most perfect peaches at our roadside market in Trenton, South Carolina. Your story truly tugged on my heart strings. And visions of that gorgeous chest of drawers haunt me. Now I’m on the hunt for the perfect piece of furniture. And so your story continues…

I'm so enjoying your stories layered in with the tutorial. I wish I could find friends like you at this time in my life. Girl friends later in life seem elusive. All my girl friends now have family to soend their time with, and were hours away from each other anyway. I made friends at church, but when I stopped going to church they stopped being friends. And then few are healthy, actuve, and creative. I have a wonderful husband who is my best friend and supportive of my passions, and I thank God for him! It's weird, this time of my life. At least I am free to follow my interests each day. 🤷🏼
My neighbor had beautiful peaches last year. I have several bags of frozen fruit to use. This year will be ok, but last year the bounty was overflowing. All glory to God!

Love the peach story! I was hanging on every word. So often, for me, if a project doesn’t turn out the way I think it should right out of the gate, I get discouraged and quit. I really appreciate how you show us that the first time may not be a charm. If you see something off or don’t like it, keep going, try something else, it’s okay. Great thoughts on perfectionism.

I love your stories. I have Peach story....but I haven't yet found that perfect Peach ever again. The year is 1999, I'm 29 and my mom and I go Peach picking at Halfords Orchard in Fredericksburg Texas. We picked two full bushels of the biggest Peaches I had ever seen, I'm talking grapefruit size. They were called Majestics. And they were Majestic in every way. Perfect to the touch and beautiful. We ate two each while we picked....I didn't even mind the juice running down my hands they were that good. Pure heaven. And they made the absolute best Preserves I had ever had. They next year the Fredericksburg Peaches froze and Halfords was no more. I am now 53 and to this day I have never come across another Majestic Peach since. I scour the produce section of every grocery store I go to with no luck. I am so glad you were able to find that perfect Peach again.

I had knee surgery about 4 years ago. I live in a rural area and after a few days, my husband and daughter went back to work and my friends(understandably) went on with their lives. I was suddenly alone and in pain. I found one of your videos and was hooked. I love your style and have tried to use it as inspiration several times. The results haven't been awesome, but I keep trying. I love your paints and products, but mostly I love your videos and the stories. I know they are time consuming but they are my favorite paint videos. You are amazing.

Great video. The type of Debi video that made me want to carry the paint in my shop. (That was 3 years ago already.) Love the peach story. I told a friend of mine who hates peaches, that he just hasn't met the right peach yet. On a sidenote, back in the 70s, our summer family roadtrip was to head to the BC interior for mom to load up on peaches and tomatoes for canning. I LOVE fresh peaches and tomatoes.

Good tomatoes are as hard to find as good peaches these days ! I’m from Louisiana and I really miss the Creole tomatoes we had growing up - I rarely eat a tomato anymore because they just have no flavor

I might try to (kinda)copy this because, I love it! I enjoy u so much and I like when u dance. Your family is great and your 2 dads are such good helpers! Keep up the videos, I get such great inspiration from them and I like not having to be perfect. My husband is a perfectionists and would never paint messy as I do,lol He shakes his head at some of my projects with multiple colors.
