Hey dude this was a huge help. My hands are large so it was a nonstarter after several attempts and multiple bloody knuckles on both hands to get that damn light out. Turning it counterclockwise using the screwdriver as leverage is the key. It won’t happen if you don’t use the screwdriver. Like you said just put that screwdriver up alongside and pull down on it to turn it counterclockwise and then it does pop out. When you put it back in and turn it clockwise with your hand again it goes in much easier than it did coming out. Thank you very much for your help. What a pain but you helped a lot. Thx.
My 2019 Jeep Cherokee latitude don't have that hole in the wheel well. Its impossible to change the bulb without dismantling the bumper, have to take the whole assembly apart Jeep couldn't of made it easier.
This really helped me do it myself, I appreciate it!
Jessie Ruckart happy it helped you out :-)

Thanks for the vid. You can turnt the tyre more and there is also a special window for this cases so you don’t have to unscrew the whole thing.
If you turn the tire it's way easier.
Raul Sanchez yup for sure and it took me a few minutes into the video before I figured that out ;-)
Hey man. Thanks for the video. Saved my family alot of money bringing the car to the shop. Really appreciate you taking the time

I think I would have turned the tire a little to get a little more room.
Dennis cook lol so true it took me a few minutes into the video to figured it out ;-)
Why in the world didn't you turn the wheel to get to it easier?
lol I eventually did about half way in ;-) was too lazy to move the car a bit since driver side wheel was next to my lift steel column
Thank you for this video
you’re welcome and glad you found it useful

sorry I can’t confirm that as I don’t own a Latitiude model but having to remove the bumper sounds quite excessive.
I can't believe you didn't turn the wheel
lol figured it out a few minutes into the video ;-)
This is a grand Cherokee or a latitude Cherokee? The bulb says 9012 n in my book for my 2017 Jeep latitude says 9005
