Marchan won’t be kept either he ran into a homer and had 4 hits together didn’t go 120 feet.

In a recent interview JT said during his recovery he is working with Stubbs and Marchan to be on the same page as the with the pitchers and work out any kinks they may have. As far as Stubbs hitting woes I don't know what to say other than send him down to Lehigh to work on hitting it will surprise me if they do.
Walks underrated
Marchan should have played tonight instead of Stubbs, Pache needs to get his act together along with Dahl and Merrifield. 12 stranded runners once again that won't cut it fellas. Not giving Nola any run support has to stop. You can't keep scoring 9 runners one night and only one run the next. You're a 1st place team then hit and produce like it.
Stopper benches Marchan the guy who goes 4 for 4 and puts Stubbs in. Wtf over and over again.

They need to talk more about the big problem rf yea has one or two good games at bat…. But play one of these other guys on this team that have talent and unload him. Leaving a lot of guys on base that could have one a lot more games

Marchan is clearly better than Stubbs. No reason for Stubbs to be on this roster after JT is back

@@Bettercallsaul316sorry he is not a better defender. He has had way to many pass balls just in this last road trip that I've seen. He went 4-4 yesterday. But I want to see more games.
@@nategardoskiPop time isnt the only defensive factor for catchers. Id rather have a catcher with a bad pop time and bad at blocking that is excellent at framing cause these umps have been just so bad

Say what you will about Rojas but he makes that catch in right center. Casty is the one making $100m and he's not hitting any better than Rojas lol
It dont matter whos in OF besides Marsh and NC non of these might not be there in aug. There gonna trade for OFers. Whats nuts is there is no power on this team besides KS and Bryce. I'm with Ricky Bo on Pache/Rojas........I'd have DFA'd Pache and kept Rojas up and playing. Rojas makes that catch in CF last night, I'm 95% sure he does and Rojas gives the Phils a big plus in the field. Yeah, his defense has not been up to 2023 standards but damn, that bar was VERY high to start with.
I also though Rojas would probably have caught the ball that just eluded Marsh in right center last night, but it would have been a highlight reel catch.
@@robtgoldstein True dat but Rojas seems to make several of those in a week so again, got spoiled by it.
Rojas needs to listen to KLong and get with the program. If he continues to try and hit everything out of the park he will be playing in the Dominican league. He has talent and an opportunity, if he isn’t smart enough to take advantage of it that’s his mistake.

Pache is 9th on OBP - higher than JT, Merrifield, Clemens, Stubbs and Castellanos
They keep asking why Schwarber in June. I think it has to do with the weather. April and May can be cold and rainy. Then June comes around and the hot weather comes and Schwarber gets hot. Former Reds and Phillies 1B Tony Perez used to say When the Weather gets hot so does the Big Dog.
Pitchers don’t hit anymore! Lineups are now designed to produce! You can’t compete with 3 hitters that don’t have competitive at bats. Need an OF that hits!
