I'd like to see a video discussing all of the obstacles/creatures you can face and how to combat those, and where you'll face them. I've beaten the game and picked up on how to combat most, but I'm shocked by how many people don't realize certain things. Such as honking the horn to scare off crows, or turning off your light to avoid rocks and red mist. Or maybe every effect Panic can have on you, from seeing creatures to even phantom islands and ships. Not to mention panic being necessary for the black vision stones.
wait I'm just now realizing this was a subtle dig at me letting the crows/mist affect me. I promise I fight the panic well on stream I just wanted to help show that if these events happen you can still recover 🙏
@katiesgamingxx when the game first released these characters were a timed quest. One of the first updates removed the hidden timer allowing you to take as long as you need

The Blue Crab for the Figure in Yellow can be found in Stellar Basin with water 5m or less in depth. The Horseshoe Crab for the Figure in Purple can be found in Twisted Strand with water 10m or less in depth. There’s not one specific location but anywhere in those regions where the crabs are plentiful will work!
The 1.1 Update that was released today said you should be credited with the books you missed out on due to the hooded figures starving! check your game if you haven't yet!

U could of showed the map on where to specifically place the crab pot

Nevermind , it seems to not have any effects and still asking for more
The fish can be corrupted, rotting, or even infected. It will not have any negative effect in your ability to finish the quest line!
does this work if they are dead? ok i let them all die and i cant do the quest sooooo its learning experience
Unfortunately you cannot redo the quests if you let the hooded figures starve.
You could always start a new save though!

I think if you put fish in the net it Dosent rot,worked for me a lot idk if it's a glitch or not
depending on the platform you play on you might not be able to use the trawl net trick so I try not to give that advice just in case you are unable to
