why in the world do you make the claim it would be bad for the engine to slam it in reverse while moving? You do know that is 1 of the strong points of a jetdrive i hope? I mean you got 1 there so you should know? Unlike a normal drive with a jetdrive the impellor(prop) allways turns, and allways turns in the same direction, forward or reverse dosnt affect that AT ALL. All that happens when you put it in reverse is you lower a bucket in front of the jet nozzle that then reverses the jet stream. If you put it in neutral you allready drop that bucket in, but only half way. So it this was bad for you engine then putting it in neutral would be bad as wel. But it isnt, because the engine dosnt even know. If you had a jetboat with seperate forward/reverse control and throttle you could even leave it full throttle and slam it in reverse without the engine changing rpm. You wil however make the boat nosedive, you might get ejected out of the boat and this type of boat wil fill up with water FAST.
I want one of these little mini boats
Hello, i recently got 90hp mercury jet boat but it is not as fast as your boat. Do you mix oil in your gas or does your engine do that on its own?
I mix the oil directly in the gas. Newer jet boats have systems that mix it for you.
I just brought a 96 regal rush in Australia
That's amazing! So easy to tow. And she goes!
@@gemwebb I'm in Australia I travel alot in a sprinter van.i was looking for a little boat to take with me.these boats are awesome...
Why would it be bad going into reverse before your stoped
yeah, it does nothing to hurt the boat. its a jet boat, there is no "in gear or out of gear".

yeah, this guy doesn't know jack about jet boats. There is no "drive". it is always ion drive, just neutral balances the reverse shroud.
