My 93 was an absolutely fun boat. Right up to the point it swallowed a piston ring, then stater went out, then then CD went out, and then the crank shaft broke at the flywheel. The 90 Sport Jet was the worst engine every produced (I believe it original was a Chrysler engine bought by Mercury). I finally had the engine bored and replaced most components with Offenhauser racing parts. But like I said, SeaRay made a great product.
Is there a way to unclog the jet drive from in the boat if it were to suck something up? Looking to buy a small jet boat just narrowing down some options was looking at one of these for sale looked nice i like it!
Looking to change the motor oil and was wondering if you do it yourself and could help me out. Cant find videos or diagrams of where the drain plug is. Already changed lower end fluid.
Jeff, being a 2 stroke means there is no motor oil to change. The motor oil is the 2 stroke oil in the tank. It mixes with the fuel and is burned by the engine.

I have a 93! been through the whole thing to get it running. At this point I may service these things in my area! From the engine to the jet drive. Hours spent working on it. What I would like to ask.. where did you get the top for the boat. Looked for a year to get the boat. As good as shape as I could. And it is rockin! Cut holes and installed a great stereo with blue tooth. Love the Black Sabbath!!!!!!!
