      With the very awkward shape, he probably would have put himself in more danger using a push stick. Honestly, you should probably build a quick sled or jig to make it safer if you're going to go about that operation in that manner.

    I know this was posted 11 or so days ago now, but I want to thank you for making the content you make Eli. I leave in 7 days or so for Marine Corps bootcamp and before all that watching your videos has been inspiration to me to become a bald, epic, and God fearing creator of apocalypse weapons and household needs. Anyways people keep telling me "thanks for you're service", but thank YOU for your service to the UA-cam community you created. Also thanks for being awesome 😎.

    Eli my man I've been watching you since I was in middle school, im 20 now and your videos are still as entertaining the day my buddy Chaz showed them to me in 8th grade, we used to make stupid little "weapons" out of anything we could find because your videos inspired us so much lol, a lot has changed since then but your videos still have the ability to take me back, thank you Eli.

  • @LParkes
    @LParkes 2 роки тому +3

    Eli man I really appreciate your videos. I've watched every single one and I've never skipped an ad on your videos. You're the only UA-camr I can say that about. I found you on Zombie Go Boom waaaayyyyyyy back in the day and I've been with you ever since. Ive always wanted to support you as much as possible in fact I was going to send you a package with a h*ck ton of Swedish candy after a trip I took...but given that that was about 7 years ago I guess I probably shouldn't send it at this point. You were super impactful to me and a great role model as a kid. To this day I still show people your video about the wooden circles. In fact about a year ago I came across it again and showed my girlfriend the video and she couldn't believe it, she could tell immediately how much of an influence that video has on me even years and years later. Anyway man I just wanted to let you know that we all appreciate you and never want you to stop!

    dude the fact that you have both of your thumbs still is kind of amazing
    Edit: so if you dont want the fish mouth, round off the corners of the steel first with the hammer and it helps. strike in and back on it and it should fix that. also, in order to prevent possible snapping on your knife tang, make the shoulders of the plunge round so that there isnt a lot of stress on them. Awesome video man, keep it up!

    Can I tell you a story about improper use of table saws ZNA?
    Back when I was 16, I was using a table saw the exact same you were in the beginning of the video
    but get this, the saw shot the wood I was running through OUT and caused my hand to collapse on top of the blade, cutting off 3 and a half of my fingers.
    It was 5 years of physio therapy and repair surgeries before my hand could be somewhat functional. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE USE A PUSHROD.

    Have you considered making a full version of your fiberglass level III plate? Like a front, back, and sides plates. A lot of surplus kevlar neck protection (and some stuff like groin and arm pit protectors) are easy to find at surplus stores, but full vests are either rare or extremely expensive, so I think a video on a poverty-vest you could build into a full fledged flak jacket would be good

    I love the oil burn combo. A little trick I've found out is to burn, sand, burn, sand, burn, sand, oil. This gives a very rich burn look. When you sand, make sure you don't sand off all the burn tho.
