Yall do understand Houston has spent more than double the amount of years tavraish has into the P1, right? And why people get into pissing matches over UA-camrs they've never even met will never make sense to me. Both builds are killer, the P1 will more than likely be another year, but either way, why are we bitching when this is all free content? God people like you 2 are insufferable.
Just to double down on you clowns, tavarish took ownership of the P1 between 12 and 14 months ago, around February 2023. Houston took ownership of the Bug 44 months ago, July 2020. And guess what, both timelines are totally fine!

Glad the seal ended up sealing . Have to say I was surprised to see how the ring was being preheated by a torch? That does not heat the surface evenly . Best to heat in like a small toaster oven . That way the part is evenly heated and goes into place easier and then cools evenly to lock it in. Not saying I'm an expert, just my experience over the years and a suggestion.
Agree. But as the metal was so thin it would heat up quite quickly..

Absolutely an amazing accomplishment. 12 parts should have 15mm views total at minimum. The production quality level is a missed opportunity for a seasoned pro like you.

I like circumventing the system and accomplishing things that NO ONE says is possible. He showed the world that this super car is just nuts and bolts and it can be rebuilt. While I understand the corporate side of things - protecting its brand. The Bugatti side of the house should have provided a silly gasket and allowed the completion of the build. They could have provided signed NDA's and no one would have known any different. But, it once again proved, that where there is will there is a way. While the cost was immense, the amount of experience gained is priceless. The car is gorgeous in and out. So, cheers to Andy for sticking it to the man!

I am from France and I rent cars when I go to Vegas to royalty Houston and his guys are very good what I like about those video beside spending a lot of money in this project is the knowledge and the skill of every single people involved in the creation of this beauty congratulation to Houston and his team the result is beyond words I can’t wait to get vacation fly to Vegas and see this beast in a real life. Hint: That sleeve for the rear crank seal should have been heated up in a conventional convection oven to obtain a more consistent amount of uniform expansion.
But the sleeve was so thin it would have heated up quickly.
@@stuartd9741correct, the temperature could be regulated to 125 degrees F or 200
Not sure what the thermal coefficient of expansion is on the alloy used?
I install these sleeves at room temperature.

Toughest hypercar rebuild ever...imagine how hard is to do something when you need something from official at the Bugatti...and any normal work on amy car is very demanding with Bugatti...even the spark plugs change is like 16 of them...64 vapves damnn

very good video. Never heard of a cranksleve before, but it seems like a possible way to fix this issue without stripping the engine down to the crankshaft and replacing it
