Rented storage unit buildings, too. Creaking, with a token flickering light bulb and motion sensor lights that won't come on until you walk through a door and take several steps into utter darkness.
I guessed after the elevator scene that it might just be in her imagination. And at the end of the movie, when I realized that my guess was right, I was upset. Because I was waiting for something unexpected. I once read an old French short story about an old woman who runs away from a strange man who she thinks is going to hurt her, but then realizes that she was wrong. Maybe it was because I could guess. But, you know, at the end of the movie, when we realized that he was actually a good man, the movie could have continued a little longer and we could have seen the man make the woman unconscious with a spray. I feel that maybe I was not the only one who could guess the ending of the movie
Great job. Only comment: The car was definitely cranking over so the battery was good and no need for the jumper cables. But, very good job. I am enjoying your films.
Lol, indeed - pedantry that has no place in the realm of disbelief suspended. A bit like when the engine is clearly turning healthily (as here) - but then magically a push-start is the required ingredient!
Wow. What a welcome surprise to see in my subscription feed, I really enjoyed it! The play on words was amazing, and it was amazingly shot. My only complaint is that I wish it were longer! Tho honestly the length is perfect, just long enough to get fully immersed, and then snap back out of highly amused and relieved. The actress and actor did a great job as well. I would LOVE to see more of what you can do film wise, and sincerely hope life is treating you decently. Cheers.
Great work on this! I use it in my high school Film Study class during our Horror/Suspense unit. Lots of useful information packed into a short time, and on a modest budget. Well done!
Everything is 10/10, but there is detail that bothers me and many other people who know that if the car really needed a jump, it wouldn't even crank. the battery was good.
Some may say that this is too harsh. But the truth is, in the real world, most people only think about themselves and we can't really trust anyone. Nowadays, it is rare to find someone who helps someone. But I understand that such a bad ending could cause the dissatisfaction of the movie audience.
This was sooooo beautiful omg. i am also tryna make a short film but my main climax is 1 min and the remaining shit is 2 min. i hate that the unnecessary part is longer than the actual scene. PLUS IT IS A NO DIALOGUE FILM SO I CANNOT OVER EXTEND THE SCENE AS WELL. im soooooooo confused what to do
This actually shows a big point, sexism goes both ways, but is very different, if a man is trapped with a woman 9 times out of 10 he won’t do anything to her, but no, women think that all guys are the same based on most likely one experience, or maybe just the way they were raised, i would have been so miffed if he ended up being a serial killer, or rapeist, or something like that
Was this her paranoia because he acted weird in the elevator and he watched her hard not to think something different you just panic in a situation like that especially on your own very well done and glad it was innocent and it ended good
Where's a twist where he turns out to be her lost younger brother who mysteriously disappeared when he was 5 y.o. and now came to say she has only one hour to leave the city because they're already coming for her?
Very well made Isaac, I like the shots and the little details but this is nothing I guess enough to make a short film but what is it saying? What's it about? Nothing really
Office buildings at night are SUCH great backdrops for thrillers! Scarier than the cliche "haunted house" to me!
liminal spaces are unsettling to begin with.
Rented storage unit buildings, too.
Creaking, with a token flickering light bulb and motion sensor lights that won't come on until you walk through a door and take several steps into utter darkness.
@@ParaísoPerdido-23 For sure!
Her smile at the end was priceless and she looked so grateful need more films like this ...
I am so grateful that he is a good guy and he helped her...
We don't know for sure. The movie stops at the moment he offered his help to her. Who knows where the story ends up
Dude this film is sick, the way you shot this is stunning 👏🏼
Boys you're too kind!!
Here before this blows up
I almost jumped out of my skin twice. Very well done, a rather electrifying performance with a real charge at the end.
OMG lighting and colour grading was superb 👍
Don't jump to conclusions 😂😂
@@isaaccarlton thanks. The film was so factual of what we do all the time.
Yooh that's good 😂

Love the filming on this, where you limited the vision of the third party watching the scenes play out and left plenty of ambiguity until the end
Great film man! You never disappoint. Loved it!

It would. That happens when battery is low or drained, but not completely dead
The most horrifying bit is that she didn't immediately lock the door as soon as she got in.
Delightful change up!! Nice job!! Ax
Only one word can describe this short "excellent"😎
What a fun ending.
That was so suspenseful! The title wasn’t lying. Good work!

Ok this was really well done. The acting was great, by both of them
Loved it🔥
That was a fuel issue, not battery. That was a healthy and strong battery.
That car did not need a jump. It was cranking which means the batter was not dead.
funny feckers lol its brillant great sense of humour required to brainstorm this piece well done
Love your video. What camera did you use to film this ?
Nice
NOW THIS WAS GOOD ABSOLUTELY GOOD

Well done 👍👍👍
lol, the scene where the janitor stops the elevator door, it seems a little similar, reminds me of a little ink game.
