I’ve been buying from EZ Toys since 2010 when they were a brick and mortar store known as Horton toys. Never had a problem, they paid return shipping on a model I didn’t want and always work with my orders. Plus they are the only store I know where you can pre order models such as future releases and JC wings models without charge till shipping, this is a great option. My go to for the last 4 years are DGPilot as I’ve traveled solely to the store just to meet Donnie. Customer service as you mentioned is the best and very competitive pricing. A new one that has offered amazing 15% discounts and 5.00 UPS shipping is the Texas airplane store. Two orders In and Nick Is awesome! Even offers to split your order and ship in stock for 5.00 flat. Good video review.
@@robbymahar1426 any experience was decent and I was buying three Delta Connection CRJ-900 which they were not able I deliver due to GJ not making enough so I swapped them for 3x new NG releases. It was a good overall experience, but I do understand and agree with the taxes for ordering and higher prices for brands other than GJ arguments.
I’m from Canada but I typically buy from avworld. Haven’t had a model come broken from them in the three years I’ve been collecting. They have a store in Toronto (close to Pearson) and an online store
Ive gotten a few model airplanes my dad got for me,specifically the Embraer E-175 from american airlines by gemini jets, and the Boeing 787-9 from United Airlines from gemini jets too,and now that i can buy some model planes i think DG pilot is gonna work well for me as shipping can be cheap or expensive from 6 to 50 dollars
nice setup! agreed with the shops you listed. diecastjets is shit. waffle is okay, My Hobby House has unbelievable pricing, I would only buy from them if you are placing a large order because shipping is a little pricy - very cheap models. Great video!
Have you considered a green screen for your video backdrop? You can customize it with your logo or specific aircraft that you are discussing. BTW…great review of the retailers and their strong and weak points!
Always good to see DG Pilot I actually met the owner he is a really nice guy and he’s the one who gave me the idea to go to Airliners International and also met MSP at DG Pilot
I ordered two Southwest models from Waffle Collectibles recently. Including the new NG Models Southwest Max 8 Retro Gold Livery, I hadn’t received them yet, so I emailed Waffle and he said they arrived to me two days ago, which they did not.
I bought from the UPS company store a few years ago. Great price but it was a cheaper version (older landing gear and no antennas). Gemini had a better version out same model #. So buyer beware
I know the version from the UPS store is technically inferior, but for the money you can't beat it. In addition the lack of those features means the model won't break unlike the modern Gemini Jets.
I would agree that waffle collectables has gotten better at customer service, It was a smart idea for him to hire someone to specifically aid that area. I had ordered the NG July 2022 releases from his website and when they arrived one was missing. So I contacted them via the “contact us”and the representative was very friendly and they shipped my model out fast. Even though waffle collectibles has had a rough past I would recommend them to other collectors.
I never had issues with Waffle Collectables. He is my go-to. I buy from Waffle and Texas Model Airplane Store. Both have taken care of me when an issue arises.
I have a question! I'm making a model airport but i have all kinds of airlines! Do you have any ideas of airports to represent that are mixed with bunches of airlines?
If you mean in the United States or Canada there are many options. One is Las Vegas which I do in my videos. Other great options are Orlando, Ft. Lauderdale, Miami, Los Angles, San Francisco, New York JFK, New York LGA, Boston Logan, Washington Regan National, etc.
When I was small I flew on a TAP air Portugal atr 72 500 and the plane was landing it did a fucking slam dunk on the runway my ass started To Hurt cuz the landing was soo bad

Thank you so much for sharing your experience and insight that is very helpful!
Good thing to see Rm in the bad ones now.
One of the primary reasons I made this list.
Die cast airplane store is a great one too
Yeah, I bought from them once before and seems to be good.
They only have fair prices for Gemini jets products, plus they tax. I wouldn’t recommend them

Very good video Citrus. I like your new setup with all the boxes on the sides!
Glad you like them!
I live right next to the Alaska Airlines company store so I've been in the physical store. And it blows me away every time
That is so awesome! I defiantly plan to go there sometime.
I got my Southwest 737-700 by NG Models from eZToys in the mail yesterday. Came with a detached wing
Mot surprised.

I've heard good things about both Aviation World and Threshold Aviation up the in Toronto.

Bro i wish I saw this vid sooner because I just ordered from eztoys yesterday😭

Hey, that is not great to hear. What does your tracking information say?
@@CitrusAviation they delivered the models to my old address by mistake.
@@mckeeboys8929 Oof. I would see if you can have the RJ forwarded to your current address.
Great video good info Citrus

Hi, do you revommend any others european model stores, cuz outside europe shippings are very expensive
I am not as familiar with the European market, but I have heard there are a decent number of good stores out there.
I recommend you the Scale Model Store, its in the Netherlands, low prices, decent shipping and lots of variety.

It is very interesting to see how Waffle is turning it around and gaining a good reputation.

O'Hare Terminal 5
What's your accent bro? Chicago? I'm from England.
Eastern European
Another two of them that I get from that are legit are flyingmule and spruebrothers
I have brought several used models throughout the years from Spruce Brothers. They are a store located in Independence, Missouri and are great!
When I was small I flew on a TAP air Portugal atr 72 500 and the plane was landing it did a fucking slam dunk on the runway my ass started To Hurt cuz the landing was soo bad
I'm glad to hear about an interesting flying experience. II thought only RyanAir did hard landings. ;-)
How about “diecast airplane store”
They seem to be fine. I ordered from then once.
How about eBay?
he already talked about ebay(its on the stores on note)
@@prussiandudeidk I just found it! Thanks😁

this dude got a stack of model planes I am wondering how much he spent🤔
A lot
To be honest i would refuse to give 40+ models if I was the only worker, I would refund, but RM Models didnt refund you and waste of $1,600
Yeah it was an unfortunate situation.
Another great relator is Prarie diecast. All ways had a great experience with them, and they all ways have a 10% discount. Aaaa+++ relator
Because I have been in cont\act with the store for some time I have been able to recommend them as I am not as familiar with them rn.
