In general experience, with Amazon was good but had to admit that prices when I checked out they became overpriced, the Qatar 747-8F bought from Amazon originally was in $39, and the Turkish 777-300ER 1:200 originally was in $44, when I checked out they were in $59 and $55. The shipping to Colombia was DelAAyed. With Airplane Shop it was amazing, just because of the variety, prices were good. Just Airplane Shop is good in-store, online is a shit. It seems people wither have great or horrible experience with Waffle. He will almost literally fight anyone over a return. He has been used racial slurs several times, and I will be making a video on the topic including screenshots. As fa r as "That's the norm with Gemini Jets" I have two things to say. First, it shouldn't be normal as Gemini Jets models are expensive with constantly increasing prices with high standards being expected. Second, basically every other retailer I have veer worked with other than DieCastJets is always happy to give a refund without an issue.
For anyone thinking of buying from AMS, don’t buy from them unless you are in the British isles or northern / Western Europe. If you buy from them and you are in the americas, it will probably take months to get to you because their stock is all sorted in the UK, and shipping is only cheap for the British isles, and not too much more for northern / Western Europe.
This is why I said in the video "for you European collectors". Now the model will not takes months but more like two weeks to arrive, which is still a not time but not as long as assumed. Also, it should be mentioned that shipping from the UK is going to be about $20. Anyway, AMS is good for model collectors in Europe.

Yeah, distance defiantly will effect shipping times. I know people like you guys have had good experiences with Waffle Collectables. However, I personally have not and know plenty of people who have not.
Great video! I have some differing opinions regarding a couple retailers. I’ve had perfect experiences with Waffle Collectibles up to this point. Obviously that doesn’t mean everyone will, but I’ve had no problems so far. With the GJ March though, that might change. The strategy is not to complain to him, and you will avoid any potential issues with him being rude or using inappropriate/offensive language against you. That being said, he is a business and he should act more professional. Last time I bought from ezToys was when I preordered the NG jetBlue A321. They didn’t ship it right away and said it was held up in customs, and it would ship that Tuesday. After that, I emailed them again and I was told it wouldn’t arrive until mid-September, so they lied to me. Haven’t bought from them since. After that I agree with everything else.
By this point we have both made our position on Waffle Collectables clear. You have had a good experience, and that is great! I'm happy his store is working out for you, and since it is I would actually recommend you stick with him. However, I can not in good concurrence recommend his store to anyone because of the 'issues" he has. I must say my recent experience with Eztoys has not been as good particularly with the new DAL CR9 where my experience was terrible. As this video was so popular I will be doing an updated version of this video next year and there is a good chance Eztoys will move to the unrecommended position.
I am very sad as I live in Australia and most online stores people recommend are in America and the shipping prices are often more than the plane model itself so can you recommend anything for me :(
just before christmas I am last minute making a huge list of the best model stores and I found some AWESOME ones from this video! Thank's for making this video man it is very helpful! If you havent already... I would also reccomend making a video of the best manufacturers. I have a wide variety of manufacturers and they are all good and it would help them out for more people to know how good they are!
How about Airline Museum Giftshop? I've only had one bad experience with them cause they sent the wrong plane but they let me keep it and sent my original order with no issues
I live in Montreal Canada and I'm a Big Fan of Diecast Airliners...My first Place to shop was with Ez toys...Good service ..Then later I went with Avworld in Toronto. Canada...also good Service and Well packaged.
Never had issues with Waffle Collectables. Even when they made a mistake a shipping models, they customer service was was quick and prompt and issues resolved ASAP. They are my preferred retailer.
I'm so happy you have had a good customer experience. My experience admittedly has significant;ty improved recently so I will reconsider their position in the next version of this video.
Amazing vid! I have ordered 3 models from pandafox toys. I have gotten a Phoenix Qantas Airbus A380, Gemini Jets Qatar Airways Boeing 737Max-8 and a JC wings Eva air MD-11 (it’s still shipping tho) from pandafox!
@@CitrusAviation The A380 and 737MAX-8 were already shipped by the time I posted this comment because I got the A380 in December and the 737MAX-8 in January. Sadly the MD-11 order was cancelled due to its progress of being shipped not moving at all since the day it was ordered.
Here in the Philippines I first bought models from a store called Hobbiestock that is where I usually buy my models from another is Tailwinds International while I've recently signed up wit EZ toys for there news letter.
PandaFox for me! They're based in the same zip code as me so I can receive mine on the same day or the next day! Free shipping as well and some awesome prices as said in the video!
I love waffle collectibles, I have ordered 2 models from them and I had an Etihad a350-1000 model shipped by FedEx from Temecula to Chicago and both wings were off and one of the horizontal stabilizers was off, this was not waffle collectibles fault but rather Fedex to blame for. Didn’t have a problem with the Air India 777-300ER I received from them.
It is interesting most people seem to have no issues with Waffle Collectables. I should mention since this video was made I bought from Waffle again when some of those Southwest Exclusive releases came out, and I didn't have any issue with him on this most recent purchase.
mannn i just ordered 3 amazon models i hope they come good 😟 (atlas air 747, california one 737-700 southwest, and a 777-200 united new livery) ✈️ nice video (i ordered these before i saw this video, so im gonna sit on my porch and wait for the amazon driver to HAND it to me instead of throw it, wont make the mistake again)
@@CitrusAviation so the models arrived today, atlas air 747 and united 777-200 came in perfect condition, althought the southwest model came with broken landing gear, i don’t really care because i will return it and get the the money back on my gift card and buy it again. anyways my next gemini jets purchase will be from ez toys
@Citrus Aviation so I returned one and they said they wouild ship another one so yeah their return policy is good but not buying from them, ez toys next time or ams
I will say about Amazon, the Louisiana One actually saves you a few bucks. I didn't buy it this way but I noticed that there was free shipping, at least for Amazon Prime members, on this particular model. However, they usually charge sales tax. So you can buy Louisiana One from The Airplane Shop and pay an additional $10 for shipping or you can buy it on Amazon and get free shipping but pay maybe 10% sales tax depending on where you live and pay about $5 cheaper than buying it straight from The Airplane Shop.
This is a good comment. I am someone who try to save every dollar possible as I care about my financial future, and even just saving $5-$10 adds up over time. It is for the same reason I eat at Mc Donalds instead of StarBucks.
I buy primarily from waffle, ez toys, the Flying Mule, and eBay. Ive bought from panda fox and the diecast airplane store as well. I now that a lot of people don't like waffle for various reasons but I would readily defend them. Sure I've gotten some broken models from them but everyone has gotten those from where ever you buy from! Their shipping is normally like $10, which is normal, but it always come in like 2 days! They're normally willing to work with you and they're prices are great! They also get really rare used models (that they actually have in stock, some of which I've bought). I can also get a 10% discount every order! Great video
Hey, man1 I appreciate your defense for Waffle Collectables and I will do a video on him and why his store is one I do not trust in a future video along with all I said in this video. I will make my counter claims your your good defense here. $10 shipping while standard price is still more than what I would pay as most retailers, even Eztoys offers free shipping in some form or anther. From what I can tell, Waffle Collectables offers no way to get free shipping. Saving $10 each order for me adds up very quickly. I will concede that he has an excellent selection. The "rare models" however, are often not in the condition they are advertised which is in violation to cooperate law. Anyway, I am not going to tell you who to buy from or support. I am just going to caution against buying from someone. Thank you for the comment and for having a civil conversation with me.
@@CitrusAviation One thing I don't like about Waffle is when doing pre-orders. They take forever. I actually have ended up buying models from other stores after I got tired of waiting for Waffle to get them in stock. They'll charge you a 25% penalty fee for cancelling pre-orders and won't refund you shipping they never used. It's in their policy. So, you are basically left with no other choice but to just wait forever to get a pre-order. I made the mistake of pre-ordering from them for three models but will never do it again!

As this video was so popular I will be doing an updated version of this video next year and there is a good chance Eztoys will move to the unrecommended position.
for people in the uk flightstore is also quite good
Ok. Thanks for the recommendation!
I am very sad as I live in Australia and most online stores people recommend are in America and the shipping prices are often more than the plane model itself so can you recommend anything for me :(
MyHouseHobbies in Mtaylasia could help you out.
@@CitrusAviation not really as they still have pretty high prices and they have a small inventory as most of their items are sold out
anyone firstclass collectibles?? any good?
I have not tried them.
just before christmas I am last minute making a huge list of the best model stores and I found some AWESOME ones from this video! Thank's for making this video man it is very helpful! If you havent already... I would also reccomend making a video of the best manufacturers. I have a wide variety of manufacturers and they are all good and it would help them out for more people to know how good they are!
Thank you so much! I did an updated version of this video as well. I’ll do a best manufacture video as well.
I ordered a Southwest 737-700 from RM. It’s a Exclusive to that store
Correct. I also have one on order and can't wait to get it!
Citrus Aviation has anybody got theirs yet?
@@clarkmckee4700 Not yet
Awesome video! My favorite is DGPilot. They are great.
Thank you so much! From my experience wording Data CRJ-900 it has been good so far.
I ordered from rmmodels and I ordered a Alaska airlines 737 900 NG and it’s been like 15 days and its still un·ful·filled
If you have an issue with a model not being shipped, contact the retailer. I hope your model arrives soon.
How about Airline Museum Giftshop? I've only had one bad experience with them cause they sent the wrong plane but they let me keep it and sent my original order with no issues
I have only ordered from them once from what I remember, and that was back in 2014 so I don't remember much but have heard good things about them.
I live in Montreal Canada and I'm a Big Fan of Diecast Airliners...My first Place to shop was with Ez toys...Good service ..Then later I went with Avworld in Toronto. Canada...also good Service and Well packaged.
Thanks for the info!
12:29 but they got no Delta Connection CRJ-900 for pre order- they're all sold out! (I pre ordered my crj from Jetcollector)
Some stores sold out sooner than others.
I’ve been using the airplane shop for years now and I’ve never had a problem with them yet
I'm glad you have had a good experience.
@@CitrusAviation thank you
AMS is definitely good for Uk 🇬🇧 collectors
Well, never had a single problem with airplaneshop
Ok, and that is fine. I am not saying people don't have a good experience. I am saying they are overpriced.
Nice! How are the models? Did they arrive yet?
@@CitrusAviation The A380 and 737MAX-8 were already shipped by the time I posted this comment because I got the A380 in December and the 737MAX-8 in January. Sadly the MD-11 order was cancelled due to its progress of being shipped not moving at all since the day it was ordered.
@@CitrusAviationIt’s probably because when I checked on it it said “sold out” so it probably wasn’t in stock and yeah they could not continue
@@M17262 Oh yeah I personally do not recommend buying models that are listed as sold out.
I order with Diecast because they ship to canada unlike other us websites and everything is really cheap
That is fair.
I'm from the U.S and I'm on a UK website so
👌🏻
Im a weirdo
Here in the Philippines I first bought models from a store called Hobbiestock that is where I usually buy my models from another is Tailwinds International while I've recently signed up wit EZ toys for there news letter.
Thank you fore the information.
Some of the comments waffle collectibles have left to negative feedback on their eBay are appalling
That is a fact.
I ordered from diecast jets once, my plane came perfectly fine, not ordering from them again after this vid.
That is good to hear.
Myhobbyhouse is a great place to buy for Asian collectors
Yes
💯agreed!
@@CitrusAviation yessir!
What about jetcollector?
They are a very good store.
I live in New Zealand what website should I do? Please someone help😢
HHmm, I am not as familiar with that market. Mi Jit HD can answer that question better.
I got my southwest 737 MAX from diecast jets and it was amazing I think
Nice.
Fantastic video my friend!
Thank you very much!
PandaFox for me! They're based in the same zip code as me so I can receive mine on the same day or the next day! Free shipping as well and some awesome prices as said in the video!
Sweet, man! I do like Panda Fox and have had a good experience buying from them.
The point system is really good 👍
Pandafox toys is number 1.
They are so good!
@@CitrusAviation I Agree.😀
Nice vid 👌
Nice explanation
Glad you liked it!
mannn i just ordered 3 amazon models i hope they come good 😟 (atlas air 747, california one 737-700 southwest, and a 777-200 united new livery) ✈️ nice video
(i ordered these before i saw this video, so im gonna sit on my porch and wait for the amazon driver to HAND it to me instead of throw it, wont make the mistake again)
Thank you for watching the video! I hope those three models arrive fully intact.
@@CitrusAviation thank you!
It is for the same reason I eat at Mc Donalds instead of StarBucks.
same@@CitrusAviation
I got my Gemini jet from panda fox toys.
Nice!
I got a question? If you get points could you get a terminal for free?
theoretically yes, but it would take literally around $50,000 spent total to get a free one.
@@CitrusAviation Id be willing to put like a statement or voice over of my experiences with them for you if that would be helpful for your video!
Thanks I rlly needed this video 🔥
My pleasure!

what about flight city
I have never heard of them before.
Can I get it to India
I believe so.
Great video! Any idea if AMS is available in the US

I ordered a Southwest 737 Max 8 and a American 777-300 from Amazon a few years ago. Both came broken.
The 737 Max came with a broken wing
The 777-300 came with a lose (almost broke) tail
