The progenitors of the triple axe attack. If you like Mike Olivieri’s voice you have to give the Soul sign album “Life in the dark’ a listen, cause he provides the vocals on that. Carey and him are still a helluva pair of axe-slayers.

Such a great fuckin' band. The 1980s were the best. The heaviness, production, melody, songwriting, musicianship, they have it all. This band has some really stellar material.
As A Music Developer this song got me into playing guitar and made me become a professional Electric Guitarist today. Im making music and not getting a lot of views but at least I make music that hopefully some people like. This Band inspired me to create music and I am glad I found this band 4 years ago. So good to hear Hard Rock still being delivered in a traditional, but fresh style. Dig the tune very much. Be looking forward to the album, & stoked to hear Mike Drive's voice belting out the goods. Always been one of my favourite vocalists🤘
This is perhaps the most realistic music video that portrays a band's quest for success. And it's uncomfortable to know that a team of this caliber never got the recognition it deserved. Forever Leatherwolf!!!!
I met their vocalist, Michael, today while I was in work. Absolutely top man whom was out with his family in the horrible Irish weather. I said I would look them up and after doing so, I have concluded that their music is great :-) plenty of depth to it which you dont get with a lot of today's music.

+rbagel55 The original soul and spirit of Metal is what is missing from today's Metal. A lot of it just seems very manufactured and contrived, which too much emphasis placed on being more detuned, distorted, heavier, faster etc. Where are the great soaring passionate melodies and tasty overdriven tube amp guitar sounds? Also it is not a crime to have some tasteful and clever keyboard parts woven into Metal music. What passes for melody these days is too simplistic and dull.
EgoShredder You are so right my brother. Frontiers Records resurrects bands and signs bands trying to evoke that special sound and all is so artificial. You cannot reproduce an age, a zeitgeist that was a period of inspiration devoid of self- pity and crappy modern drugs. I didn't worry about anything other than partying, chasing women, getting high, and just having a great time. So, enjoy the best music by buying the stuff from the eighties and early nineties !!!🎸
One really great band from the early 1990s onwards was Talisman, who were fronted by the amazing singer Jeff Scott Soto of Yngwie Malmsteen Rising Force fame. Check out their albums from the first one onwards. The later ones were not as good in my opinion, but the early ones had that 80s sound and spirit to a large degree.
"For those who dare..." Yeah, for those who DARE to seek out and LISTEN to AWESOME music like this! Those RIFFS,that VOICE!!! Hear the LEATHERWOLF calling!
Signed bands in the 80s and early 90s had to deal with terrible record company’s that would just put them on a shelf and use them for tax write offs and ruin their careers. They would put you on bad tours and not promote your records then drop you from the label a couple years later claiming you didn’t sell enough records. People think that once you got signed you were “on your way” but the truth is, that’s when the true struggle would start.
Leatherwolf has been my favorite band since back in the 80s when I first heard them. My favorite song is Thunder. It has some wierd-ass lyrics! This band is awesome!!
Fortunately this was my hometown band and I got to see so many shows from backyard parties to opening for Queensryche at Irvine Meadows. What incredible talent these guys are still to this day.
I'm also from Westminster and Fountain Valley, HB living in Arizona, first seen them live at Mile Square Park battle of the bands, was blown away. Had moved from Virginia in 1981 never heard rock music, hardest thing on radio out their back then was Journey or Toto 😂 my parents couldn't get me to leave that's when I fell in love with rock! music music and 😅
This is their second album, their debut is self titled. It's much more raw sounding, if you know what I mean. Songs like, "Spiter" and "Season of the Witch" will kick your @$$!🤘🖤
Leatherwolf never disappoints! A damn good kick ass heavy metal band through and through! Couldn't get enough of the album Street Ready when it was released, completely wore out 2 Cd's! Damn those where the days!

I use to watch this band in Hacienda Heights/La Puente Ca in backyard parties, they use to do a lot of Iron Maiden cover and Judas Priest covers, and they kicked as on the song sinner by Judas Priest. You could hear the influence on one of their songs called spider, with the into feedback on the guitars.
This was a very first video that I ever saw in Headbangers Balll back in 1986! Still a banger! Interestingly, I didn’t realize the lyrics were kinda Christiany, with the video even making it a point to shoot partly in front of a church. As the years passed, I was surprised and disappointed that I never heard again from Leatherwolf. But in my book, always a great band, and always a great song.
