@@acedoeseverything260 Jeff lost to Matt at mania. took an 8-year absence and an all-time return for Jeff Hardy to get off this list... which he wouldn't have been on in the first place had he not gotten high in '08 and won MITB.
I wonder... if Dustin had stuck around in WWE until after Vince retired, or even came back like Cody, would he have gotten his WrestleMania flowers as well? Sure, it wouldn't likely have been as significant or impactful as Cody's return and feud with Roman, but even a feel-good win for a midcard title or going over an old rival would've been nice.
All it did was prove WWE didn’t know what to do with Ryback after CM Punk gave him his first loss back at Hell in a Cell. He never should’ve had that match with Punk, especially knowing what we do about the plans for Rock vs. Cena.
Truth should get one last Mania match, opening night two, as he battles for the US Title, wins it, and then retires as a champ. He's done so much for WWE.
Ironically Sid main evented with Hogan when the WWE Title was defended earlier in the night and main evented with Taker when the WWE Title match probably shouldn't have headlined over Hart v. Austin. Actually it was just a 2-on-2 match X-Pac had on the WrestleMania X-Seven pre-show not a six-man. Too bad kinda, as he could've gone from a 1-on-1 match, to a 2-on-2 match to a 3-on-3 match at consecutive Manias (get it? 1-2-3)
If I could make miracles happen I'd book Goldust v. Solo Sikoa in a hardcore preshow match of night 2. Have Goldust cut a promo on how he's considered the Rhodes family screw up. "Solo. My record says you won't lose tonight, but my pride says I'll make sure you're not going to mess with my brother!"
That Ryback/Mark Henry thing was so weird. Henry wins the match, clean. The next night on Raw, Cena announces an open challenge for the title. Henry comes out to accept it. The GM says something about having to earn a title match, so it's non-title. After the match, Ryback, who lost clean to Henry the night before, attacks Cena and is immediately booked into the title match at the next ppv. How did Henry not earn a title shot by winning, but Ryback did by losing? Why even bother changing Henry's match to non-title when he wasn't going to win anyway? At least Henry got the classic angle and match with Cena down the line.
I would have liked to see Ryback to go to Japan and train wristlocks and submissions. I think a giant that's technical could have beat these smaller guys
