I am from Multan when i talk about my city tears comes into eyes because there is few Data available for this ancient city and even i am fail to find proper books about its history. It seems that something horrible happend in the past. Lahore is not older then Multan but you will notice that people just talk about Lahore, fortunately i found some books where i read there was a Village called Lahore on the bank of Ravi. Multan was the Major City of Sub Continent.

Why is the host still following the colonial dating for Rigveda? Not only is the date wrong but also the location. Location of the.Rigvedic people as per its description in the text itself is in present-day Haryana on the banks of the Saraswati river and not in Punjab on the banks of the Indus. In fact, there are explicit descriptions in the Rigveda that describe the Indus as a location they had to travel to to fight wars. Also, the chronology is quite clear in that it was only after the Saraswati lost its abundant waters that they moved towards the Indus. It’s really disappointing that they would get such a well-known fact wrong on their show.

    Namaaste Dr.Srinivasanji,
I watched with great UTube video on real & correct History of our greater Bharat, including rich History of Hindus of Paki Punjab stste, state, most important city of Pak is Mullan where Hindu Dharma was given by Bhagabsns and proof from documents and very important Hindu Temple whose debris lies in Mullan Pakistan where Hindu Dharma was practiced and expanded all across Ancient Bharst or Akhand Bharat as now being depicted in the new Parliament Building in Delhi..opened last week in Modern India.
Thsnk you for opening our eyes and rusted & Islamised mind how Islam came to Akhand Bharat and brutal Islam converted ancient Hindus resulting in modern Pakistan, policy of Hindu free nation, but time has come to reconvert all those Muslims whose DNA showing Hindu background and Pakistan officially must admit their forefathers were Hindus only.
    Best wishes and Namaaste.

Pakistan not recognizing and owning of its heritage is a great loss to the people of Pakistan. Many in Pakistan are not aware that they have a great and ancient Vedanta heritage and that their religious trappings are of Arabia which in medieval times brought out a half-baked ideology adopted from Vedantic philosophy received by Arabia from Kng Vikram in 1st century and Abrahamic ideology received subsequently.

Also a suggestion to call groups of people in-the Rigveda ‘Clans’ rather than tribes.
A couple of reasons why the use of the term clan is more appropriate than the use of the term tribe.
1)As we know the Bharat clan was part of the Purus. And there are a lot more subsets and clan associations in the text. These are not tribal, but rather clan-based associations.
2)To avoid confusion with the current usage of the word tribe, which mostly pertains to lifestyle of people or descendants of people living in the forest. They typically or ancestrally do not have the same type of societal organization as described in the Rigveda. For example, kula, grama and Jana in increasing order.

Ancients personified concepts. Avatar, devis devtas dont kill body. Only maya ego bonds of advanced tapasvis. When spiritual energy, kundalini manifests in mind of tapasvi they called it avatar phenomena. People get cart before horse. In Rgved asura are noble tapasvis. Not evil. Tapasvis get vara siddhis only after chittashuddhi which implies they cant have evil desires. 'Pillar' is also inside the mind. Devotees made stone structures to commemorate those tales.
Civilization will be truly fully restored when educated people stop blindly parroting misinterpretations. Every puranic tale or legend are not theory, which is more important. Even upanisads have allegories which need to b correctly understood.
