- Is this Bullfighter D190 a Super Stratocaster? It does have some juice, for sure. I test this Amazon Bullfighter guitar with gold hardware.

Damn Jeff that thing is a beast. I like taming the animals.
Shockingly good. Thanks for the comment and for watching 🤘
The only thing that makes me hesitate is the neck profile, which, as you say, is 'beefy'. Also others have remarked as well. But it has gotten great reviews. Scarr found the frets were perfectly level on his.
The neck pickup is 11k?
Not beefy, like a U shaped Tele, but like a D shape. More middle of the road. My 13 year old son plays this guitar now. He takes it to his music school. It's certainly not shredder thin. Yes, the neck pup is 11k! I had to check a few times. The frets were great. I wouldn't have noticed the 3 that were off by a bit if I wouldn't have checked. This is one of the best budget guitars I've bought. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! 🤘
Could you please share the product link for the mentioned XTUGA item?

Nice.
"Love it or hate it." I'm watching this video because I've wanted one of these since last year, but I passed because of obligations. I'll probably have to do the same this time, too, but I'm hoping that there'll be more on Amazon if I do. Meantime, it can't hurt to find out if it's worth a twist!
@@edwinstovall3334 Thanks for watching and commenting! I really like thus guitar. It is a great guitar for hard rock/classic rock. I was really surprised by it.
@@MotorRoseMusic Thank YOU for giving me your opinion. I have several guitars in this general vein, but heavens, this thing is GORGEOUS! 🥰 If I can, I'm grabbing one of those! Just not right now. Darn ... Maturity REALLY SUCKS!😆
@@edwinstovall3334 As my great grandmother used to say: It's he'll getting old. 😄
@@MotorRoseMusic 😆😆👍
Thanks for this review, and I appreciate you showing the ohm readings. I've had my eye on this bullfighter guitar, but haven't bought one. Now that I know the bridge is around 8 ohms, it gives me more to think about. (I usually prefer the humbucker bridge to be around 10 to 14 ohms) .
Thanks for your comment and for watching 🤘 I appreciate it!
I have the neck thru version from over a year ago. It has more of an Ibanez style headstock which I could have lived without. That did include the Ibanez style swing-out truss rod cover, which is good.
It also included a very good Floyd style bridge. I mean VERY good. The pickups are really good. It is unfinished. It also has the bull head inlays. The only issue was sharp fret ends all across the fretboard. Once I fixed that, a top grade guitar all the way. No other issues.
Awesome! I love this guitar. One of the best surprises of these budget guitars. Thanks for watching and commenting 🤘
it also comes in a Neck-Through with a Floyd Rose.
for cheaper.
That's the one! I forgot it* was neck-through! Thanks for watching and commenting 🤘
True definition of flame maple.
🤣🤘👍
I like the looks. Was attracted to it since they appeared. Not offered in Canada. They went out of stock for a bit. I get US Amazon stuff shipped to Michigan, then go over pick it up. My first impressions was same as you on the chrome bits. Also I thought the singles and knobs should have been same color as back cover. White looks off. The singles are hot at 12K.
I was able to get the regular bullfighter strat here while those were unavailable there. I like it. Only needed a couple of frets leveled. Pups are all 6K SSS.
@@2bikemikesguitartopics145 Hey, Mike! Good to hear from you. Thanks for the comment. It's funny how they offer different things to Canada and US.
Love the Rush riff's!!
My 9 year old daughter loves Fly By Night and many other Rush tunes, so I threw that in there. 🤘
What is the voltmeter showing here and what is it it's use. Sorry if I am being dumb, I want to know
@@tahaammarmir9132 Not a dumb question. I know enough to screw things up, so I will give you a good definition and not my basic knowledge of it:
"Pickup resistance:
A measure of how much effort it takes for current to pass through the pickup's wire coils. It's a static measurement of the coil at rest, and is taken with a special meter. The resistance is determined by the length of the wire wrapped around the coil."
@@MotorRoseMusic Oh, thanks for the quick reply. So what's ideal in this (like should it be high or low) and is this something necessary to check while buying new guitars or replacing pickups. Like how does this reflect in the sound of an instrument.
@@tahaammarmir9132 No, it is not necessary at all. I put it there because I felt the pups had more juice than I anticipated. I was really surprised by the readings of the middle and neck being so high, but they didn't have as much output. High resistance doesn't always mean, volume. They are much warmer, which is also attributed to high resistance. Now, someone will jump on here and say I'm wrong. Bottom-line, it doesn't matter. The only time you really see these measurements is when you buy replacement pickups. If you want to match or drastically change the sound you could use the numbers to approximate the sound/output. It's a crap shoot to me.
Neck looks great not totally sold on the body roasted. Probably would look better if they built it in all Maple an then roasted with Aquis Fortis. Still a cool strat
@@jacobcox7825 I agree, the neck/body color is a little weird, but not too bad. I recall Fender started doing roasted pine bodies a few years ago, so not totally strange to roast the body. Thanks for watching and commenting 🤘
