Looked like a great deal, so I bought the package too. I used your promo code also. It showed up in 2 days. Everything looks great! Thanks for the video. Charging the mini amp now. I bought a Fesley 12 string a few months ago and it too is a great value. 😊
I bought one of those cheap Monoprice 15 watt things. Recently replaced the power tubes and the sound improved (got rid of the crackling burned originals). Rebiased the amp to run cooler and it sounds better than when new. Just discovered I can get an almost perfect VOX sound out of it with an equalizer pedal...for that matter it can also sound like my twin reverb too. One little amp can be so much. You should do a demo with EQ on one of those...its amazing.
@@6stringcodger450 Thanks so much for watching and commenting. I have done a number of videos on the Monoprice 15W amp, along with its little brother the 5W and their external V30 cabinet as well. You can coax a number of tones from the 15w combo…I have a video on swapping out the tubes, reverb as well. Have a look around the channel should you get a chance! Appreciate your stopping in and sharing your thoughts! 🎸👍
Hi PG…Yes, it’s nothing fancy but it certainly gets the job done. For a starting player, it does what it was designed to do at a very reasonable price for the package! Thanks so much for dropping by!! 🎸👍
Good evening dear Jimmy. An absolutely great starter set of guitar and necessary accessories, I think that even an advanced guitarist can use it, for example, on vacation, in a holiday home, on a business trip, etc. The amplifier, of course, corresponds to the price of the set, but it can be replaced, there are more options, I personally use it on trips Joyo JAM BUDDY, but that's a matter of personal preference. The price is incredible again. Greetings, Pavel CZ.👍👍👍

Aw shucks - I was looking forward to you building a kit guitar. They should call it a pack or set, not a kit. Still, a surprisingly nice piece from Fesley. I do love the dark rich finish of the fret board and the metallic flake in the body paint. That is a seriously good deal.
@@RocktCityTim Thanks so much for stopping in. Yeah, I never thought about the description of “kit” being so controversial. 🤔 I honestly don’t think you could build this (guitar part) in a DIY kit for the price they are asking for this complete “set”…appreciate your stopping in! 🎸👍
I have a gearit guitar 🎸 kit that I bought from Amazon for less money but I have never tried the practice battery amp that came with it but my guitar 🎸 kit is a tele with a humbucker and a lipstick pups . I think I will have to try that amp and see what it sounds like. If your kit is anything like mine then you will need to replace the strings with something better and the strings they sent with the kit is not any better. I have found that if you setup the guitar 🎸 you will have a fairly good guitar 🎸 for practice. As always another great guitar video. I’m curious to know how many black guitars do you have and what is your thoughts on DR Black strings?
@@MichaelLHill-fd3kw All guitars bought online will certainly benefit from a good setup, including new strings! It’s like night and day…I always try to do my reviews and demos “out of the box” so that folks can see/hear what they can expect from the manufacturer direct from the box. Is it playable? How does it sound/look stock? I think those questions are important. Black guitars?? Hmmm…I think I have around 4/5 guitars in a black finish. I have no opinion on DR Black strings as I have never used them…truly appreciate your stopping into the channel and glad you enjoyed! 🎸👍
This is a great Blackie to kick around learn how to play. The gig bag and extra goodies like a practice amp means it's easily taken to a lesson or a friend's place to jam using a phone for the backing track. Great demo, Jimmy! That amp is all right, too!j
I'm with you on this Jimmy. When I think back to the 60's and the crap I started on. My parents bought me a very nice small body acoustic to take lessons on. I was hot for an electric, so on my own I bought this flat-Blue electric. My fingers we're raw playing this thing. After struggling with that for sometime, my father bought me my first decent electric. It was a Hagstrom III. I think it cost $159 in 1964. I was on cloud 9. What a great deal this Fesley Package is. Thanks for the review!

@@chickenlickin3820 What? This is exactly what Fesley calls it…it’s a “kit”…look at the box! Seems a few folks also thought “DIY” build but I simply used the Fesley description for the title. Nothing nefarious intended.
Actually, in 1968 from the Spiegel Christmas catalog I got my first guitar. It was an imitation vox phantom six by Teisco . It came with a guitar, of course, cardboard hard case guitar case, a strap, strings, a cord and an amplifier. I think my parents paid $110 for it. It was listed as a beginners pack. And… If I remember right, I believe Sears had a Silvertone guitar pack as well. So the guitar starter stuff was around but without internet, the advertising back then I’m sure was word of mouth or the right catalog at the right time or your local music store. I will say the quality of the started packs today are way better. And this Fesley looks pretty nice for a beginner. 👍🏻
@@zymerstuff9851 Thanks so much for watching and commenting. Yes, I realize that there was “starter packs” back in the 60’s…my point was having a starter kit like this back then with the equivalent playability and price. That is a great deal, Jimmy. I'd pick one up except I just took delivery on (another) Firefly strat style guitar. Funny - when I saw "Guitar Kit" in the description, I thought it was one that comes in pieces that needs to be assembled. I am glad to see that it is a full setup. Nice review.
