I saw this in the theater and people were cheering when Finn was beating the Grabber with the phone. And then when he snapped his neck, the whole auditorium erupted! It was awesome
@@SomethingCinema Oh yeah! Went with my coworker and she kept punching my arm in excitement when Finn was going off on him. I was simultaneously cheering and telling her to punch someone else lol
Best moment ever! My whole theater was cheering too. Went to see this with my husband and we were so tense and rooted for tiny little Finney the whole time to make it out safe and once we got home, we hugged our two sons very tight because we wouldn't know what we would have ever done if either one of them got kidnapped. It's a horrible thought for a parent.
That scene with the dad hurting Gwen hit close to home for me. I cried in the theater during that scene because my dad acted the same way when he took his anger out on me.
I’m glad you didn’t let that situation over come your life. Idk what you have going on but you’re still HERE and able to speak your truth and that means something. ❤❤❤
I forgot to tell you guys that show Fin was watching on television was a popular a really popular 70s tv show name Emergency which ran for six seasons from 1972-1977 I have the whole series on DVD which came with the tv movies after the show had ended
I love this movie. Finney escaping at first but got caught got my heart racing. 2022 was a great year for horror films: Nope, X, Prey, Smile, Black Phone, The Menu, Fresh, Orphan First Kill etc.. I can go on and on.
Great reaction. You're right and picked up on the kidnapper only taking boys. It's based on Gacy mainly and other serial killers during the 70s and 80s. He specifically only took boys. Also the siblings each inherited a power from their mother: the sister with dreams the brother with the ability to communicate with the dead. It's also why Finn the only one able to hear it. Lastly the book is written by Stephen King's son. That's why it kind of feels like the loser's club from it. Also they have the power of the shine like the kids in the loser's club, Danny in the shining and the people in doctor sleep
This was one of those movies that took a turn you didn't see coming. Even from watching the trailer, the movie didn't turn out to be what I thought it was. At the end of it, I was hooting and hollering for the boy and his sister! It turned out to be a really solid film. My thing is, though, how did the brother of the kidnapper never know he was keeping kids down in that basement and him living there?!
This is one of the best Horror films of 2022. I remember watch the teaser trailer to the movie during the season premiere of The Walking Dead back in October 2021, and that the movie was coming out in January but it was pushed back to June due to COVID concerns.
Ayy nice. You reacted to my friend's favorite movie. The Black Phone is really cool but also really sad. I cried a lot when I figured out Robin had died.
Sorry to for this comment being so late. I just found your video. My husband and I saw this movie when it was out in the theaters and we loved it, even though it made us very uncomfortable and tense throughout the film. I didn't like some of the sexual-innuendo things that The Grabber said to Finney or the way he caressed his cheek and played with his hair, especially since I have two sons of my own and would have been horrified if either of them was put in the situation Finney was in. And both my husband and I were praying and rooting for little Finney to make it out safely. We were cheering at the end when he killed The Grabber and did make it out. In the beginning, you asked who Finney looked like. I thought he looked like a young Tom Holland, whereas my husband said he could be the late Patrick Swayze's son. Thank you both for sharing your reaction. We enjoyed it very much.
The Black Phone I loved this movie I thought The Kids did a great job in the roles and I even liked Ethan Hawke as The Grabber I loved the mask too and that this was set in the 70s definitely one of the best Horror Movies of Last Year glad y'all watched it

I felt bad for Gwen this whole entire movie she didn’t deserve it this movie was actually good I expected more in this movie but overall it was a 8.5/10
Yes, Gwen had a lot of pressure trying to find her beloved brother that she loved so much and was terrified the entire time that he might be dead because she wasn't getting enough dreams to direct her onto what's going on with Finney and where he may be which is why she cursed out Jesus out of frustration. And of course, I also felt bad for Finney because that poor boy was trying to keep it together and find a way out, but you know inside he must have been so terrified and thinking he would never see Gwen again or his father.
Fin did the right thing by putting down The Grabber killing him permanently for good now if he doesn't kill him The Grabber would kill his dad and sister and his classmates and his teacher In Man Of Steel movie Superman has no option to kill General Zod because he was not going to stop killing and cause destruction and mayhem he's dangerous to be alive if Superman didn't kill him Zod will kill him and the family lois lane and the humanity and he sacrifice his moral code and making a life or death decision When A Supervillain or Human Villain in horror movies and superhero films starts taunting or goading A Hero by sadistic taunting them about their loved ones and families and humanity and push The Hero moral code and breaking point by killing them and putting them down to avenge the innocent pure souls 👏 🙌 In The Boys Season 4 The Homelander will become like his comic book persona starts killing in states and countries doing a kill count and Billy Butcher & The Homelander having a superpower godlike fight to the death ends with The Homelander taunts him and his son about the people they love and care about and his moral code and sinisterly call his wife a slur and billy kills him with no mercy and ryan is horrified and traumatized and Billy realizes that he kill a supervillain mass murderous monstrous godlike being I want Supervillains & Human Villains and Horror Movie Villains & Godlike Being Villains in Horror Movies Monster Movies and Superhero Anime Movies become threats force of nature and reckoning and take the personality like The Joker Green Goblin General Zod M Bison The Homelander and have psychopathic tendencies to all out no redemption qualities and be chaotic evil to the core and make the Hero break the moral code (no killing rule) by being killed and put down Villains in movies are pure evil not cracking jokes and going to kill humans animals and countries and states and start a kill count from comic books and video games taunting the hero in psychopathic/sociopathic manner to sinister villain level and a Hero must kill them in a kill or be killed decision 👏👏👏🙌🙌💯💯💯💯
If you go back to your Scream an Scream 2 an Scream 3 videos I put new comments with facts from the audio commentaries from the DVDs. You may find some for Scream 2 particularly interesting since it involves some people actually almost dying in real life.
@@SomethingCinema Also in a comment in the comment section to your Scream 3 video. I explained why there is only one killer basically on the audio commentary on the DVD. Wes Craven said that the actress in the movie that played Sidney in the Stab movie in the movie. Was supposed to be the other killer an she was dating Sidneys brother so that's why Wes cut it from the movie. Because you would have Sidneys brother dating someone playing his own sister in the Stab movie. Wes Craven said that seemed a little close to incest with him dating someone playing his sister. So Wes Craven removed it completely West Craven did have lines he would not cross.
I am here to watch yall, because the movie... I was let DOWN... down bad... I thought it was more of a "real" scary situation, nothing paranormal. I'd have liked that more that what I got. The kid actors were amazing, specially the girl. This movie, not the best at all, but definitely not the worst. I love your reactions and I'm already getting my life with the first 10 minutes of it.
Yeah I think the trailers could've done better showcasing that it's paranormal related, so then the people expecting a realistic kidnapping film wouldn't be disappointed. But expectations aside, the paranormal aspect doesn't make it any less of a good movie imo. The Steven King family often uses kids with gifts so this fits right in :D
Hmm, the things I want to see in horror movies and superhero movies 👀👀👀👀 1. Villains must be pure evil (no redeemed or nothing) full psychopathic sociopathic tendencies and driven to power murder rage hatred revenge control anger and wrath insanity and become twisted then homicidal 2. Have the directors push the limits in Rated R movies or PG-13 to make them a bigger threat and a red flag signs in them and go all the way like killing their loved ones or put fear in love interests like batman and spider-man girlfriends and main protagonists loved ones or love interests in horror slasher films 3. Villains must take twisted personalities like Green Goblin Joker, The Homelander Ghostface Michael Myers Carnage combined, and they ain't doing jokes, just pure villainous acts from comic books 4. Have the Villains beat the heroes badly and injure them badly and take sadistic pleasures toying with them and strike fear in their hearts and the Hero will get back up to fight The Villain in final fight to the death 5. Villains will become dangerous, sinister diabolical straight full threat psychopathic wicked evil to sociopathic nihilistic inhuman monstrous strange human beings with no emotions and make them force of reckoning and nature 6. Villains will not stop tormenting the heroes and the people they love and care about, and then the directors from horror movies will push the villains' limits to twisted horror movie manner 7. The Hero morality will be on and off if the Villains kill the people they love and care about them & start messing with their minds and heads, calling them horrible names, and if The Villains kill the innocent people and souls The Hero will have no choice to kill them 8. Villains motivations must be more red flags sense of being a dangerous threat to humanity and the heroes and make it more higher stakes 9. The Heroes must make a life or death decision: kill or be killed by the Villain Monstrous Being or Human Villains or Serial Killer Villains or Unstoppable Killing Machine Supernatural Entity 10. The fight scenes must be gnarly violent brutal no hands barred over the top full fight to the death between the hero and the pure evil villain and make it more like a sense of danger and red flags and trigger warnings in situations 11. Villains, at the end, will die a horrible, painful death after they did pure evil acts in horror movies and superhero movies 12. Villains themes will be ominous eerie menacing creepy, scarier, sinister wicked terrifying, threatening dark gritty with orchestra and choir in the background in horror movies and superhero films and must terrifying the viewers and audiences 13. Villains must speak in creepy ominous threatening terrifying tone 14. Make the ending scarier, terrifying, ominous
Can you watch the movie sick? It’s on peacock and it’s Soooo good. It’s a scary movie and it’s absolutely amazing. Great chase scenes, good story and plottwists and good killers! Hope you watch it
This was a good movie. It wasn't what I was expecting which made me enjoy it more, I think. Gwen was the MVP for real. Extra fuck that dad. Not gone lie made me cry too, lol.
Hmm, I would not move next door to The Grabber by the way because I'm moving ten minutes away from him after the murders happened in the film, and yeah, beware of serial killers mass murderers psychopaths sociopaths maniacs stalkers in the real world today right now this is a red flag scenario of a strange twisted human being with serial killer tendencies or impulses 😐🤐🤐🤐😱😨😰😬😬😬 and yep I'm not going be around in slasher films or horror movies in my fair opinion Morals of the story: Be careful who you hang out with or friends with because red flags signs in them
Pure Evil Villains in movies tv shows video games doesn't show mercy sympathy emotions regret remorse empathy or in shape of form 😮😮👀👀 When a pure evil villain taunts the hero morals and no kill rule, he then speaks in a threatening manner: "You gonna see your lovely girlfriend or wife died in front of you and u will suffer a loss pain misery and such a heroic protagonist just so pity what u gonna do kill me?? The hero is about to pushed it's limits and breaking point: I'm gonna kill u slowly, painful, horrific, and make sure that you will not come back When you have pure evil & chaotic evil villains like Michael Myers Freddy Krueger John Doe Art The Clown William Afton Carnage Joker Green Goblin (Red Goblin) The Homelander Professor Pyg Chucky M Bison John Hammond Pinhead Jigsaw/John Kramer Jeffrey Dahmer Ted Bundy and other serial killer villains They need to put down six feet under no questions asked And they will not make jokes or ever just here to kill torture abuse, manipulate gaslight, and be a straight-up psychopathic or sociopathic villain Yes, the protagonist will have to kill the pure/chaotic evil villain due to the kill count and heinous crimes they committed 😳 Tbh if the protagonists in horror movies & action movies were pushed to the limit and breaking point and started snapping after the villain started killing innocent people, their personality went from pure evil to chaotic evil to the point where the hero kills them with no mercy In horror movies, superhero movies, action movies, and monster movies, i want the protagonists' morality being pushed to the limits and breaking point by the chaotic evil villain taunting manner and psychopathic tendencies Chaotic Evil Villain: Your lovely girlfriend doesn't have the heart to love you and she's just a slut and u ain't the guts to kill me or finish me!!!! The Hero (has enough of the pure evil villain heinous diabolical act): kills the chaotic evil antagonist with no mercy or sympathy "Go to hell u lunatic psychopath bastard" Yep you gotta break your morality and no kill policy and kill them 😮😮😮

@@SomethingCinema Yep
Pure Evil Villains in movies tv shows video games doesn't show mercy sympathy emotions regret remorse empathy or in shape of form 😮😮👀👀
When a pure evil villain taunts the hero morals and no kill rule, he then speaks in a threatening manner: "You gonna see your lovely girlfriend or wife died in front of you and u will suffer a loss pain misery and such a heroic protagonist just so pity what u gonna do kill me??
The hero is about to pushed it's limits and breaking point: I'm gonna kill u slowly, painful, horrific, and make sure that you will not come back
When you have pure evil & chaotic evil villains like Michael Myers Freddy Krueger John Doe Art The Clown William Afton Carnage Joker Green Goblin (Red Goblin) The Homelander Professor Pyg Chucky M Bison John Hammond Pinhead Jigsaw/John Kramer Jeffrey Dahmer Ted Bundy and other serial killer villains
They need to put down six feet under no questions asked
And they will not make jokes or ever just here to kill torture abuse, manipulate gaslight, and be a straight-up psychopathic or sociopathic villain
Yes, the protagonist will have to kill the pure/chaotic evil villain due to the kill count and heinous crimes they committed 😳
Tbh if the protagonists in horror movies & action movies were pushed to the limit and breaking point and started snapping after the villain started killing innocent people, their personality went from pure evil to chaotic evil to the point where the hero kills them with no mercy
In horror movies, superhero movies, action movies, and monster movies, i want the protagonists' morality being pushed to the limits and breaking point by the chaotic evil villain taunting manner and psychopathic tendencies
Chaotic Evil Villain: Your lovely girlfriend doesn't have the heart to love you and she's just a slut and u ain't the guts to kill me or finish me!!!!
The Hero (has enough of the pure evil villain heinous diabolical act): kills the chaotic evil antagonist with no mercy or sympathy "Go to hell u lunatic psychopath bastard"
Yep you gotta break your morality and no kill policy and kill them 😮😮😮
