Auron UV Light Purifying Smart Bottle Review

- The Auron Smart Bottle is a Kickstarter I backed almost 2 years ago and I finally have the product in my hands. This is a great product but in the time I spent waiting on this the market was flooded with UV light bottles. Although those may lack some of the features this has they are also potentially cheaper than this depending on the one you chose. I am still very happy with my purchase of this bottle but I also paid 65 dollars to back this project and its currently on sale at a discount at 115 with a normal price tag of 150.

I finally started to try and use mine and charge it but it won't turn on at all when I tap it even after having it plugged in for 3 1/2 hours, bum product just gonna throw it out
Great video. For reference, they did provide sleeves as optional extras when you confirmed your pledge. I bought one for each of the aurons which I purchased.
The bottle arrived. I plugged it in it looks like that it is charging but never charges fully and after removing the cable and touch it. It does nothing. It is nothing more than a good looking metal bottle. Also it seems that the bottle steel might be to thin.
My boyfriend and I bought these and both the caps broke shortly after having them. Auron won't give us new caps or refund us.
I am a victim of Kickstarter too. Cap unglued and broke after few days of normal usage, bottle didn't keep temperature and lacked insulation. Battery is almost dead after a year of not using it.

Ordered my bottle from Kickstarter - never came to this day and the customer support is not replying to my emails. Awful experience.
just dispute the charge with your card company. they know of this issue and won’t fix or respond.
I bought this bottle. It never fully charged. The company never responded. It is not worth the money. It is so disappointing.
Same thing happened with me! I got 3 bottles all never could charge and never turned on after i took the charger out!! Total SCAM!

@@kailamichalke3157 sadly they are still selling the product when they know it doesn’t work. i would dispute your credit card bill. I did and I got refunded because they didn’t respond.
Same here, cannot turn on the cap after charge.
I really can't reccomened the company. The Kickster was an absaloute disaster. They took months to give simple updates, barely had a decent PR, spewing out copy paste replies. Months, and months of delays, with many hidden costs. Just downright terrible. I'm still waiting for my bottle, which according to them was prodiced more than a year ago, but for some reason they can't ship.
Same here lost 70 GBP. No reply from company after many emails. WOULD NOT RECCOMEND
Is it possible that it is a scam?
A lot of these kickstarters go this way unfortunately. They can get crowdfunding but someone either beats them to the market or once the products out they can’t sustain cash flow with orders so they stop making the product.
@@1UpNerdcore yeah. I usually am carefull but now I jumpped quickly into ordering one. I am 29 dollar short pr who knows maybe they will send it.
Please make a new review where you also signal to people that at this point this could be a scam. Your review made me think that it is legit.
These bottles do not hold a charge! Huge waste of money! Also the company will not respond to any emails and they do not have a phone number you can call. Do not buy these water bottles!
