I wish they would have done the suitar solo in the middle like they way they do it live. The Won't get fooled Again part is great. That just shows you how good KISS are to think up that as part of Lick It Up. It sounds great Live.
Paul sounds like he's 70 years old in this version, which wasn't far from the truth. His original performance on 1983 album is arguably peak Paul Stanley and musically it was peak KISS with Vinnie Vincent and Eric Carr.
Actually that's wrong. First, during the reunion tour, Tommy was the road manager for KISS and got to witness them putting on the makeup and getting ready for the show. Then When Ace left again, Tommy took his place with Peter. Then Peter left again and Eric came back.
Bruce left because when they went on the reunion tour, he felt you either keep me, or you don't get me. So after the reunion tour, only Eric came back and they brought tommy in.
Eric Carr is better then Peter Criss, but something I don't get is that some people are like "I miss the REAL Kiss" there is no difference just because there are new members doesn't change it so deal with it. It is what Paul and Gene choose, they choose Tommy and Eric so get over it!

@mscongeniality1966 You are correct, but they don't care about any of what you said. The reason they did this is because they don't own the original music, and with this version they own it, and they can get paid directly when companys want to use their music in commercials, or movies, etc.

@MaruskaEstudios Ace never did this song on vinal. Ace was great but he didn't do a lot of the stuff on vinal anyways. He did a lot but not all of the stuff he got credit for. Besides KISS is still KISS no matter who is in it.

Eric is so much heavier than Peter. This is the way KISS was supposed to be. Gene and Paul took care of themselves and Ace and Peter din't and it shows. I love Ace and Peter and they could still be part of KISS but their pride gets in the way too much.
This sucks.Sounds like it was recorded for people who can't listen to it at normal speed.This will never come close to the original version.But what can you expect?Paul doesn't have the voice today to do this song like he did in 84.

Peter beyond Alive started to suck. However, the drum solo from 100,000 years on Alive shows he wasn't a complete joke.
