This video is the final nail in the coffin for me. I've already been screwed over and my son lives overseas with his Mum so I've been burned already, but this is how bad our current situation is: a woman can cheat and manipulate your whole family into an unhappy place, and to end it you must:
. Continue living with her and allowing her access to your children
. Maintain the facade of a relationship for half a year, including the marital duties, exposing yourself to medical dangers that could affect the rest of your life
. Hire a top class legal team and a private investigator to dig out all the dirt on someone who you're meant to love and trust above all other people.
It is true that narcissists exhibit hubris, but in the end that was the only reason this fight ended well for the man. He gave it his best shot with excellent grounds and a good team behind him, but without the woman's drugs test failure and ignorance of carers' names, this could have been drawn out further still. I'm not lining up for another serving for sure.

Bob absolutely killed it. 75k is still a better investement than paying alimony, child support, splitting assets etc. It would have never worked in his favour. This way, she will be paying him (alimony and child support) and she will learn the lesson the hard way. Too bad so many women may come across this video (they may learn how to cover their tracks better). Whenever a woman asks me "what did I do wrong" I never answer, so the next guy could see through her and her BS. Well done Bob

Don't listen to Sonic Foxx. Don't marry at all. I doubt I will ever get married. You don't need a piece of paper and a band around your finger to spend the rest of your life with someone. Many women do a 180 degree turn after the wedding. Why change anything and complicate things if you are happy. Look, how many marriages end with divorce and how women profit from that. Right now women are bitching that guys no longer want to get married. There is a reason for that - trend is over and stakes are too high. If a girl pushes you in that direction it means she wants to secure her future with your finances in case of a divorce. It's a huge red flag in my book. I've met many couples that never got married and they are great. 9 out of 10 of my married friends is looking for a way out and can't find one, because half of what they've got and a house will go to their ex and their future spouse. Not worth it. Let women cry here on youtube that men no longer want to get married. It's their own damn fault.

Fairly similar story to my own. I waited till the violent psycho attacked me and I called the cops and had her arrested. She was never able to come back after the no contact order and the restraining order. I kept the kids, hired a nanny and showed the court I could do it on my own. I had the kids so long during the year long litigation that the judge saw no reason put the kids with her. Now I've got full custody/placement and she pays me child support! Play your cards right boys. You can win if you make lots of smart, calculated decisions. Also, I never married the whack-job and that helped 1000%. NEVER, EVER GET MARRIED.

Great guest! Glad for him that he listened to his legal counsel and got a great result! A side note: The Albright factors are important case law in Mississipi but each state / jurisdiction has slightly different child custody laws that give guidance to the courts in making a child custody determination. If you are in a child custody battle, it makes sense to listen to your lawyer, stay calm, and be familiar with how custody determinations are made in your specific jurisdiction. A word of caution: his story is not uncommon. Therefore, vet VERY carefully and think long and hard about marriage and what can happen in the event your marriage becomes non-functioning.

Also what you younger men need to remember is that she can as Bob says come back for custody whenever she desires. If she gets or has custody she can take you back to raise child support if your income increases. Another thing is if you go to pick up the kids and she is not there. There will be no enforcement to stop her from doing that in contrast of if you don't pay support you will be thrown in jail.

26 year lawyer here. This guy played it exactly right, with the possible exception of GPS device usage. And even that is subject to different rules in different jurisdictions. So know the law before you act and ONLY act within the law.
If you suspect or are just discovering your wife's infidelity, this is for you. Get the proof you need. Keep your mouth shut while you're doing it, and remember, you're playing the long game here. Don't let pride get in your way. Don't blow things up before you've gathered ALL the information you need. Take your time and get it right. And if you need a primer, just listen to this video again. That, and get the best damn lawyer you can find, and do it now!
You're not playing for today or tomorrow or next week. You're playing the long game and you're playing it for your kids and their long-term well being as well as your own. You've got some very difficult times ahead of you. Play your cards right and you'll be sitting in the catbird seat at the end of the day.

Marriage contract in 2020 = default win for xx; loss for xy. In an alternate universe an equivalent divorce system with an opposite bias towards men would require the wife to move out to the shelter, pay for a nanny, a prostitute and a cleaner until the husband gets a new wife or until the children are 18 or move out. Not hard to imagine a 80 percent divorce rate with those incentives in place. To add insult to injury the ex wife would still be on the hook for court appointed bedroom fun once a month even after the divorce.

I appreciate that you are pointing out all the pitfalls and the traps in the usual podcasts, but I feel the need to listen to more models of success. I know that it is hard to come across the successful ones (it's easier to analyse the trainwreck and why has it happened) but this video was immensely helpful to prevent the disaster and give some pointers how to make sure the traintrack ahead is safe and clear. Very nice story and good advice, unfortunately the elephant in the room here is that spending 75k on a divorce is outside the realm of what 90% of the ones reading these lines can afford. You need to be wealthy to win, this guy got the best divorce money could buy, and he had everything in his favor.

    I went through family court.
I understand that this guy “won”...
My issue is the more than $100k I had to spend on attorneys even though I was the clear choice to raise my daughter. ( I raised my daughter to age 8 by myself after the mother has signed over rights when the child was an infant. The mother decided she wanted to ruin things when she found out I was getting married, so she started raising hell in court)
There are no winners, except the courthouse crew: judge , attorneys, etc.)
So you basically have to prove to the court, what you already are doing, and the worst part of all of this : my daughter should have that $100k ... not some douchebag attorney.
The courthouse, the judge, the attorneys.... it’s all a RACKET! That courthouse that says they are there for the children : LIE.
    It’s a money making machine and it’s
    BLOOD MONEY.

I represented myself in mediation and won. My wife swore I would leave the house with nothing but my clothes. She filed a bogus PO and I was removed and homeless.
I stayed with my Aunt and built my life back up. I kept up payments on my new vehicle, made payment arrangements, etc.
I kept working hard at work and began renting a 2 bedroom townhome. I slept on an air mattress. I bought furniture and beds for my kids. I bought TV’s and video game systems for my son and toy for my daughter.
I cooked for Thanksgiving 2022. My kids had Christmas with my ex wife and then came over to my home and had a great Christmas 2022.
We had mediation early January. Custody is joint legal, she has physical custody. The only difference in time share is one overnight that she gets. She got the house, which was hers prior to the marriage. I was able to get the list of things that were mine (70 inch TV, mini fridges), I continue pay healthcare, she pays daycare. She pays me child support and a one time lump some payment to me. I am satisfied, it’s early but I don’t think she it too happy especially since she though I wasn’t going to get anything.
The arrogance and narcissism is real.
