Agreed and amen. Your comparison to professional careers was good…but those are only "professional" careers we are dedicated to. Why not the Word? -- we are supposedly surrendered and devoted to the Christian faith-to the Lord - yet we make all excuses how we DON’T have the ability to go deeper in the Word, many times thinking daily devotionals are enough, and check off the box. Thank you for the encouragement.
I love this! I have memorized the book of Colossians. After that I memorized John 15 and Romans 8. Now I am working through the Sermon on the Mount from Matthew 5 through 7. God is moving and changing me as I memorize His word. A couple of years ago, I never would have thought I would be able to do it. Thank you for the encouragement.

Please continue to share because for Gods glory and honor I want say that your channel was what inspired me two years ago to memorize long portions of the Bible. Oh and I was that person that it was very hard to memorize stuff. I challenge myself to learn Psalm 119 in 6 months 😮 I started to get burned out trying to complete my goal. God me realize that I was not in a hurry to do this and that it was a blessing just to be able to meditate on the scripture day by day. I’m not even half ways through Psalm 119 but I been committed to continue and be blessed as I’m memorizing. I haven’t been able to comment but I want you to know that you’re being used by The Lord through this channel to reach out to all parts of the world! May God bless you greatly and encourage you as this is his ministry and he won’t forsake you as you are a child of God and are glorifying him through this ministry! Ultimately it is an avenue to know Christ better and to transform our minds (Rom. 12:2) so that if we're "cut", we "bleed the Bible." Thanks for your channel - it is a great need that most Christians don't know that they have.

I have made numerous skirmishes into Bible memorization in the past but it was never a long term priority. But now I see the great importance of memorization in a way I never have and feel motivated to make it a permanent habit. All that to say, yes, I’m in!😊
When I have committed scripture to memory I begin hearing it everywhere. I began memorizing because I was an AWANAS leader and was helping and listening to the children say their verses. I’m nearly 60 now and keep a verse I’m working on in my pocket and pull it out during the day to work on it. I like to encourage people to give it a try.
Definitely agree with you. I am working (slowly) on memorizing Luke and Acts as I figure that gives me plenty to chew on once I end up in prison someday. I was especially impressed that you went through your ordeal in China and that’s what drive you to memorize more. I had a vision early in the morning a couple of years ago where I was sitting on a morgue-style table in a room that felt underground (no windows) with 2 other morgue style tables next to me. The room had white subway tiles and a long hallway in front of me. A man walked in and the next thing I knew I was on the ground in the fetal position and he was kicking me over and over again in the chest with a military-style boot. He was very angry at me. Then he threw me in a room next to the hallway with a big metal door with a long vertical black and silver pole for a handle. Once I was in the room, the vision ended. He looked like someone who had a mix of middle eastern and European/Russian descent which makes me think it was in a country like Turkey or somewhere north of that. Anyway, your reminder that we don’t know what is going to happen or when is a great reminder to take my Bible memorization a little more seriously. Thanks for the video.

A day ago I saw a reel . This brother was asked if you had to give up reading the Word or praying to God which one would you ? The brother then replied which is more important inhaling or exhaling. We inhale the Word and exhale in Prayer. Life /fellowship This also just came to my mind God's name YHWH. A jewish brother said when we breathe we a literally saying God's name. (To be clear his reel was talking about when a baby breathes for the first time but we clearly are still breathing) . So that is Whorshiping God is Spirit and Truth. To know God is to be equipped. [Full disclosure I'm still learning] and will continue. 😊
Respectfully I am a Christian. I do go to Jesus for everything. I read and study the Bible and apply God's direction to my life . I'm not sure in what way my post suggests otherwise. Sometimes God uses others to give insight . As long as their insight leads others to correctly seek God it's good . If what they're sharing is incorrect but still leads they hearer to seek God and His Word it's good. God knows how to correct His own . And I am His daughter.

How do you organize your time for this , I was wanting to know. I am hoping maybe you can make a video that addresses these questions about Bible memory, and the organization of our time. Thank you so much 😊 ! And also, How do you make your goals for memorization for each day?
I aim to spend 15-30 minutes a day if possible, although some of that is multi-purpose review (reviewing while doing something else like driving or walking my dog).
Christians don't realize as much as maybe they used to, that when they say "I want to hear from God," they only need open their Bibles with seriousness and with the desire to learn. Every chapter in the Bible ultimately reveals God's heart and passion, his name. Thomas Watson referred to The Bible as the library of the Holy Spirit. I would tell my son that if he saw me reading the Bible, he was not just to walk up and start talking to me. I told him that would be rude because he would be interrupting God without saying excuse me. The scriptures are God-breathed; therefore, to read them, or to think through them or recite them from memory, is to hear from God literally, and nothing less than literally.
