Awesome video. I am growing the green Thomson Seedless and a few Muscadine varieties in the Caribbean in Antigua. I was wondering what I was going to do with all the Grapes that are currently on 4 plants. Thanks for letting me know that I can freeze them for eating.
@@backyardal2010 I have had the vines between 1 and 2 years now. The Muscadines started bearing fruit almost immediately. The Thompson Seedless after 1 year. The Muscadines are on their 3rd crops. So they seem to be Everbearing here. This is the Thompson’s first crop.
@@cherylbfrey5936 you could try Morden or Elelweiss. Both are cold hardy green grapes that should be suitable for zone 5. Just be sure to plant them on a south facing hill or wall so that they capture plenty of sunlight.
So many grapes! Looks like you have some good helpers! How long do you think it would take you to do this solo!?
Sorry, realizing that I never responded. It’d probably take half a day if not a full day to process that many grapes myself.

Thanks! Are you able to grow them year-round in your climate? When do you end up harvesting them there?

Thank you we were given 15 large bags of grapes wasn't sure what to do with them.
What state are you in? I’m in a northern state, I would love to grow this type of grape-Thompson green….thank you so much!
We’re in southern Utah, zone 8A. I believe that the Thompson can push it to zone 7 but it’s not as cold hardy as some varieties.
It looks like we are in zone 5a…may be too cold for this variety. Thanks for your response!
