I liked this man's life perspective. He felt, to the soul, blessed to be one with the Earth and its wildlife; to be humble, is to be 'holy'. Thanx for sharing this with us.
I'm from Northern Pakistan Chourbat Ghanche. i want to serve my whole life to protect this very very beautiful elusive specie .I love wildlife especially Snow leopard and IBEX ,my passion is to protect this beautiful animals from poachers and globalization and put this endangered specie into local environment and conserve it(genetic conservation).
Me too..I like how them seem very happy and content with their lives..I love experiencing other cultures,it is VERY fascinating :) Also,I watched this video because I love snow leopards :)
This short documentary completely lost of myself in the beauty of nature and its wildlife of ladakh...I wish that I will take a photograph of snow leopard in my lens...and love to serve and protect this wonderful species....
Beautiful Ladakh, Snow Leopard, handicraft and people. So much struggle in their life but always they smile and shows gratitude. That's Greatness of Ladakh.
A lot of your language sounds very similar to to Hausa; my native language. What's interesting is that hausa is a west African language yet they sound so alike
Well Gilgit-Baltistan is part of Ladakh, but Paksitan has encroached these territories. Till date , Pakistan cannot make these regions their province as they dont have any claim over it.
This short documentary was like a meditation in itself, everything was so calm and flowed naturally, for a few minutes it felt like that place was home, where i was always meant to be. Really good camera work and production!
Thank you for this work and for bringing awareness to the world about the snow leopard. I work with big cats, including the snow leopard, and really enjoyed this mini documentary.
Because you weren't born there, the conditions will be harsh for your body. A person born and brought up in modern society with modern diet simply cannot do without the general modern healthcare, that the natives don't need as their bodies are adapted to the surroundings.
I would absolutely pay a good price for one of those cute snow leopard dolls they make, especially if they're made out of the cool hair of those woolly cows. I would, for sure though, want these guys to get a proper cut. No exploitation.
Lots of spiritual insights and very humble people. Wish someday we could visit the spectacular natural landscape and beautiful wildlife. Thank you for sharing.
so lovely i am also balti speaker,he also speaking balti but difference is that he is living in india ,im living in Pakistan, but we both side have same wildlife ,but unfortunately ladkh urial and snow leopard totally extirpated from my hometown government and non governments NGOS total fails to protected theses beauty of mountain, that why i am learning more about wildlife for better protections
more power to your brother. I am a pahadi from Uttarakhand. I can definitely see the traces of my language and culture here. May you be a protector of these magnificent animals too. Buddha or Allah, all teach the protection of these magnificent wild animals. May we be the voice of the voiceless.
its fascinating , how the hunters and preys of the jungle and plains....have managed to move to the mountains...with the same life style..diferrent environment.......deers and leopards are seen in jungle....but, deer family and leopard family seen in mountains too..however the leopard in mountains has turned white while retaining the leopard spots, turning it into a rare beautiful creature.
Tbh, when I clicked on this video I expected to see a behind the scenes segment on how the crew were able to film those magnificent Snow Leopards. But instead, it was just about a local farmer making toys.
Utmost expressive visual wholesome beauty in these captured flowing instances, the trippiness of the wall clock and the deep, minimalistic female voice as a constant backdrop, contrasting imagery, additional, more subtle soundscapes and an eternal gaze. Soft toys. Playfulness of an indoor CAT. Outside the feline is of a different dimension. Absolute innocent, harmonious peace without romanticizing it in any way. Thank you. Chiaradina
The tourists just want to watch the snow leopard, not the people there. For that reason the native has to protect the wild animals. Is there something wrong?
For a doco about snow leopards? There is not enough vision of the said cat I understand that it's important to give us the insight into the lives of the people who are fighting the good fight and trying to preserve the cat and it's kind so it's not a distant memory. But it would be better if they posted what they are doing im sure it would still get people captivated and that would also bring more awareness of the plight
beautifully shot and edited - and wonderful content. Was lucky enough to visit Ladakh for the first time earlier this year and this video does an excellent job of capturing the ambience!
Its nepal man go into the village side or where I was born in the bhutense refugee camp you'll meet friendly people there in khatmandu the city you may get mugged
seeing something like this excites me for the day (hopeful) that i get to see drone footage of this quality on another planet with it's own species and terrain
I liked that the local guy was the presenter of his life and environment, not just the subject of the description made by outsiders.

This is awesome. I never heard a snow leopard making noises before. They sound rather like a big cat than a leopard.
Thomas X. They r the only big cats that won't roar.
Padma Chosgyail cheetahs and cougars can't roar too.
Aren't leopards big cats too?
They are big cats buddy

Really enjoyed seeing a little glimpse into the lives of the people who try to preserve snow leopards on behalf of the world.

What a treasure trove I happened upon today. The snow leopard is so stunningly beautiful. Thank you for sharing the footage.
Thank you for this work and for bringing awareness to the world about the snow leopard. I work with big cats, including the snow leopard, and really enjoyed this mini documentary.
I would work all my life to make enough so i could retire up there with these people.
Raph K the easier way is to just go there and work for a living, but good luck with basic daily needs and healthcare
I know,don't their lives seem peaceful? :)
Because you weren't born there, the conditions will be harsh for your body. A person born and brought up in modern society with modern diet simply cannot do without the general modern healthcare, that the natives don't need as their bodies are adapted to the surroundings.
Stunning beauty, beautiful people who live there and the majestic Snow Leopard.
Thanks for sharing!

Zogg you're still on Earth? Thought your grant was over and you went back.
That's not the Big Cats' fault. They're fining suit against Apple for defamation of character and intellectual property theft.
Beautiful.

The instrumental music used in this video clip is Authentic Nepalese but the video is shot in Ladakh region of India or Pakistan.
All of Ladakh region falls in India. Pakistan has GilgitBaltistan

0:10 I think the traditional Ladakh folks are assuming that all ten women are beautiful.
I guess this is the Union Territory of Jammu- Kashmir and Leh Ladakh , India .
My favourite animal The Beautiful Snow Leopard ❤️
I wish Irbis and everyone who protects him all the best with all my heart.

I love the song at 7:14, "tumhe yaad krte karte jaayegi rain saari...by Lata Mangeskar"
Proud to be Nepali
All nepalese have a tendency of claiming Antartica Big Ben Apple HongKong as Nepal... after earning 450$ per capita income
Nischal Rashaili its ladakh (india) not nepal
Even India have SL, fuckface. Don't bring nationality when sightseeing these beauties. People like you present entire race as cringe.
