I came into the comments for this!!! And to mention that at some point I heard that one of the things that M.J. w anted when he gave Nike another chance after the Jordan 2’s was a shoe that he didn’t have to break in when he put them on. That’s why Tinker Hatfield designed the 3’s with a full grain leather. And I have to agree that that upper is very comfortable and achieves the said goal. So I disagree with how low the 3’s are on your list. But people have different feet. So, of course, the list is subjective.
Jordan 4 is more comfortable than the 3 depending on which remake you bought. The 2016 version of the White and Black 4 is the most comfortable one IMHO( other than the 1989 Fire Red OG).
7s are comfy I got the trophy room 7s they feel great. 11s are hot or miss they kill a lot of peoples feet probably the wide foot group so not everyone will agree but 12s are more comfy than 11s
I hate to be that guy, but Jordan’s didn’t use zoom air until the Jordan 12. The 11s, 10s, 7s (late retros) all use top loaded air which makes them more comfortable than the 3s or 4s which use encapsulated air units.

If you're buying Jordan's for comfort, you're buying the wrong shoes. That being said, the three is goated, but I look for more than just "under foot" comfort. Ankle padding on 4s really does it for me too. 7s and 8s with the bootie also amazing
Yeah I’ve been wearing Jordan’s since 1991 with a mix of other Nikes (uptempo, air max, Kobe, KD) but recently added some New Balance to my collection I feel so ripped off that I could have been walking around in comfort all these years 😂
The 3s are comfortable if you get older pairs. The newer pairs have way less padding and feel stiff. I’ve had multiple pairs of black cements through my life and i got the new white cements on release and it’s crazy how different they feel. My black cements feel way better even now
Comfort is definitely subjective. I still think the 3’s are the most comfortable for me in my average every day life. I prefer the more firm cushioning as opposed to the more cushy stuff for everyday wear. Won’t wear them to an amusement park but wear them all the time for work and casually.
That is because the elastic going across the top of the foot is not that very comfortable for a lot of people. I sold shoes when they first came out and recall people complaining about that.
The Jordan 5's hands down have the most comfortable tongue imo, and the ankle cushioning is really good on the 5's too. Thought the 1's and 4's were going to be tied for worst, lots of ppl say the 4's feel like you're wearing bricks for shoes
I go a half size up in my 4s and swap out the insoles with Move all day. They become so much more comfortable after doing so, to the point of which I can wear them all day with no problem at all. (I average around 20k steps per day) I also lace them up instead of loose lacing them because after a bit of experimenting, I've found out that loose lacing them leave some room for my feet to slide around a little and it absolutely demolishes my pinky toes cuz it's rubbing against the hard tpu thingy. The only downside that I can't really fix are the ventilation. I just wear them with rather thin ankle running socks to try to maximise the air flow.
I agree with the list. But here is my top 5 most comfortable air jordans. 1. Jordan 12. Bounciest air sole there is. It's like walking on foam. 2. Jordan 13. Once the shoe molded your foot is really comfy. 3. Jordan 11. It needs break in but once it does it's really comfy. 4. Jordan 14. Same with Jordan 11. 5. Jordan 7. I dont know why but it really does feel comfortable. I'm a wide footer and it feels good on my feet.
The AJ1 does not have Zoom air. The AJ6 has an air bag in the forefoot. The AJ9, AJ7, AJ11 does not have Zoom air at all. Both the OG AJ13 and AJ12 had a full length Zoom Air bag, the retros have a heel & forefoot Zoom Air bag.
I agree with the list overall. I find 3s to be comfortable though. Surprisingly, I gave the Cardinal 7s a run when I went to Disney World (lots of walking and HOT) and they were comfortable all day, multiple days.
4s are my favorite Jordan hands down but I’d have to say 3s are more comfortable (for me) I was just thinking this the other day when I wore my white cement 3s
I had to hit pause and google some tech specs. Of course a Weartesters video came up. I think maybe going back to check specs, and updating the video, may be a good idea. I thought the 13s were the first Jordan’s with Zoom Air. Pretty sure it wasn’t even a thing when the 7s came out.
The Jordan 9s are by far the most comfortable in my opinion. I wore my pair of breds until the soles fell off. And seeing the resell prices of them now, it hurts haha
Im with you man. I put them at #2 on my personal list, I absolutely love that internal bootie and the noticeable arch support. I still put the 12s at #1 but my 🫒 9s are one of my favorite Jordans in my collection.
I put a pair of molded insoles in my Jordan 1 Lost and Found’s and they are insanely comfortable. The upper and everything is great, it’s just the soul that doesn’t have any support.
People saying the 3’ and the 4s are most comfortable never had 13 or 11s lol. I wore my 11 concords on my paris trip all day walking around for days and never had a problem. I love the 13s 11s 12s 14s are still even nice to play some ball outside.
I agree about the 6. Its so stiff because its board lasted. The upper is stretched over a thick bosrd last and glued underneath. This gives it higher performance on the court.
Cery fair list i would consider AJ 14 as the nr 1 but 12 is also good pick. To me AJ11 are quite uncomfortable - ok cushioning is ok but they are a little too stiff and too high so you need to ensure to wear thick socks
Comfortability isn't just the cushion.. the 3s have so much toe room and are one of the Jordans friendly to wide footers. It has good heel lockdown if need be and can be worn loose or tight. Great pair to wear.
Seth the jordan 3 's are my most comfortable just before 13's@!!!???.... I'm confused of courses reamagined wasn't the most comfortable but still most comfortable to drop before bred 4's...
I totally agree with this list but I will say the most comfortable Jordan I own right now is the 38. It feels so good and plays so well. All my old retros feel more like lifestyle shoes to me. Hard on the bottom.
Went on a 3 day vacation with the cherry 11 high's. Breathability, lightness, and cushioning stand-point j11 is the most comfortable. Can agree with most of the people with j3's however it is way too heavy for the 11's. J3 - fun to style due to the shoe geometry. Tongue isn't that large as j4 does. J4 / J12 - sneaker convention setting. Loud snkr geometry but easy to style. J1s both high and low - everyday beaters.

I always use a custom orthotic for J1 to J6. They are cup soled shoes and need it. When you do use a better quality insole, its night and day. Very comfortable and supportive.
For sure! If one spends as much on a pair of NB's as they would on a pair of J's, they will discover what true comfort feels like! Not hating btw, I own J's myself but NB's are hella hard to beat for comfort
As someone that played street basketball in the 90s the J3 and J5 were my preferred Jordans in the years I played. The J4 not so much. J6 was meh, J7/J8 were fine it's just those soles were deteriorating like crazy on asphalt. J9/J10/J11 were better then the J7/J8 but nothing special. Got no experience on any of the above J11 (OG J1/J2 was never sold in Europe at least not that I know off)
Zoom Air added a bit of weight to it due to those tiny tense fibers acting as tiny push pillars to give that bounce and energy return that Zoom is best known for.
You also have to take into consideration that people’s feet are all different, so it’s really subjective to which people find the most comfortable and the least comfortable…for me the 3s are the most comfortable for casual wear and the 13s are the best for hoopin from my experience
My first Jordan was the Playoff 13s and out of my 30+ years I was on the same mission in getting most of these retros. Thank you for filling in the gaps on the shoes I haven’t picked up or haven’t worn yet. I’m definitely going to give the 12s a try, it’s been on ice for 2 years.
There´s a seam inside over the toes in the Jordan 13s that makes them uncomfortable for me. I changed the insole and it made it a little better, but it's still uncomfortable.
I agree the reimagine 3's dont feel very comfortable they took away the padding around the inside of the shoe. The 2018 Jordan black cements and older 3's like the Katrinas feel way more comfortable
As a lot of you mentioned I misspoke about Zoom Air being in a few models before the 12s, I meant to just say air unit, my bad!

To me 12s & 13s are the most comfortable. I got flat feet & bad arches but i never tried swapping the insoles so thats a major proponent.
12 an 13 are the most durable of the models. Once broken in they are very comfy for being clunky and a sweatbox.
@@norinmey7753 yep my 2013 taxis are my beaters.
tbh jordan 1s are the most comfortable to me, then certain pairs of 4s, then 3s
I love Jordan retros, but as I get older I find myself grabbing some NB’s more often.
Got no experience on any of the above J11 (OG J1/J2 was never sold in Europe at least not that I know off)
11's are the most comfortable shoe I ever worn hands down. If u have a wide foot it's a must
What pants are those? 🔥
12’s definitely have the best cushioning system with the full length zoom.. but they are also heavy.. pros and cons but that zoom bounce is so comfy
Zoom Air added a bit of weight to it due to those tiny tense fibers acting as tiny push pillars to give that bounce and energy return that Zoom is best known for.
I use all mine in the gym a lot. Think it would vary if u wear casual or performance. 6s pretty good on the treadmill.
Top 5 Comfort wise- 13s, 7s, 10s, 12s, 11s. THEN 5, 14, 3, 8
You also have to take into consideration that people’s feet are all different, so it’s really subjective to which people find the most comfortable and the least comfortable…for me the 3s are the most comfortable for casual wear and the 13s are the best for hoopin from my experience
Your picks especially the 2s place where they're at, says you, Seth, have a skinny mini foot man.....
Yup.
Dk bout that, I wear a size 12 & have a pretty wide foot & like the 2s
I love 3s! jus swap out the weak cushion and PUT primo Cushion s
May want to widen your scope. Vans has some pretty comfortable shoes out now.
I have narrow foot so for me 2018 3's , 4's , 7's, 8's and 11's fit my foot better than the others.
Love the look but hate how the 12 feels the front crushes my front toe maybe I should go .5 up. It was comfy unds but after a few wears ehh
7s are my favorite. And the 13s are the most comfortable for me. I wish they would put zoom strobes in them all so they would all be comfortable
Was wearing my 2's today, I find them to be the most comfortable of the classic jordans. They have nothing on my Air Max 90's though.
Jordan 3, 4, 7, 10, 12 & 13 are the pairs I am quite comfortable with and I always use the most from my sneaker collection
You musst try die 18 !!!! The 18 ist the most comfy jordan of All time!!!!
I love the 13 and 14s. My favorites. Both underrated, esp the 14s.
