at 7:29: its 2-1 tho. We did put up a great fight against them :D. I love your predictions, nice to see someone finally see the qualities of Koeman. I dont think the Netherlands will win, but i do think they will end up far. Like a semi-finals
@@zenc1407 hmmm i think we can give a great fight against them. Personally, i think we have the best dutch squad since 2017. We got so much quality on every position right now. If they can play as a real team, and have the spirit to win, i think they can beat portugall
@@tiemen5791 It'll be all or nothing for the Dutch I think. Or Koeman will do brilliantly with a weakened midfield and turn out to be a master of improvisation and Oranje will go far, or they will lose to France and Austria and draw with Poland and whatever he tried will be a miserable failure.
Yh ok Portugal’s squad is very good. Ronaldo, Silva, Leao, Fernandes, Cancelo , Dias 😅. I’d say it’s a little worse than England and France but on a similar level to Germany and Netherlands. To be honest, it’s all very close between the top 5
@@SouthamptonCentral France ≈ England ≈ Portugal > Germany ≈ Spain >> Netherlands ≈ Belgium ≈ Italy. Don't put Portugal and Netherlands squad on the same level, on the pitch the conversation may be different, but name by name it's not even close buddy
England’s squad is slightly stronger than France’s when we have everybody fit, in my opinion. Who would we take from their team? Mbappe, 1/2 CB’s and 1/2 of their CM players. That’s 3-5 of their players. Whereas Bellingham, Kane, Foden, Saka, Walker and Rice walk into their team with ease. For me it’s England > France > Portugal. Those 3 squads are far superior to anybody else’s, player by player
@@SouthamptonCentral I couldn't disagree more, the only player in the Dutch defence who would be guaranteed a place in Portugal's 11 would be Van Dijk, Frimpong has had an excellent season but he's more of a wing-back than a right-back, there would be a debate between him and Cancelo/Dalot, the rest are incomparable, Rúben Dias is far better than anyone in the Netherlands and so are Nuno Mendes and Diogo Costa. The same goes for the midfield, only De Jong would play in a Portugal 11. But I'll say again, this means noting, 11 vs 11 Netherlands could perfectly beat Portugal or any other team. sry to break it to u but england aint winning the euros m8. england does well against small sides but when they go up against big teams they lose. they lost to france 2-1 after france scored to manual goals against them and england also missed 1 out of the 2 pens they got. they also lost to brazil when brazil were in their worst form of their life is no fam england aint winning
We weren’t playing our best team against Brazil and as I said in the video, we outperformed France and if a few small things had gone differently then we could have won. It’s definitely realistic that England can win the Euros
1. We outplayed France we just didn't take our chances. 2. Brazil had a lot of star players playing and we didn't. 3. Friendlies mean absolutely nothing, get over yourself. 4. England are in a completely new territory right now, never have we had a bunch of players so talented and so spread out across Europe with their clubs. It's very probable that England will win.
@@BrandonSmith-ct5rz Not convinced by England central defense. Stones isn't the Stones of a few years back while Guehi or Gomez aren't too experienced. I'm also concerned about the left fullback position, I find it unthinkable Shaw will find his top form at the Euros if he is even fit while I've never rated Trippier too highly, he isn't an elite level fullback like Hernandez or Maatsen.
MIED WHAT!!! WTF!!!! Netherlands as something like Bruno Fernandes or Bernardo Silva or Vitinha or Palhinha from Fulham!!!!! 😮 realy inform yourself please. Worst prognosis of euro 2024 I've sean
Inform yourself of the Dutch squad. De Jong, Reijndeers, Gravenberch and Simons are all good players and I’m counting Silva as a forward since he often plays on the right wing

They are definitely close games. Less recent history isn’t really relevant to the result and you haven’t informed me of anything that I haven’t already mentioned. These are all just your opinions 🤦♂️
Have a quick look at how Netherlands fare against Portugal in major tournaments, including the Nations League. You took time and effort to put this all together so I won't knock it too much but only an England fan would predict an England Euro victory, and that is all, nobody who isn't English thinks this. I also believe there will be a surprise team, like Morocco in Qatar '22, and I think it could be at the expense of Belgium, meaning Switzerland. This Belgium side is significantly worse than their golden generation at it's peak between 2016-2020 and even then they didn't win a trophy. KDB and Lukaku won't carry them very far, and talented young players Doku and Tielemans isn't enough. I think Croatia could also be the team not in your last 8 because they will avoid Portugal by finishing 2nd in the group. France are my favourites to win, because even if they put their foot on the gas in just small phases of the game, they'll still beat all other teams, including England.
To be honest, I’m not sure why nobody else would consider England as one of favourites to win. That makes very little sense to me. For Portugal v Netherlands, the less recent history isn’t particularly relevant and I could see Netherlands as a potential surprise team as they are being overlooked by many people. I could also see a team like Hungary or Austria cause an upset but I wasn’t brave enough to predict it 😅
@@SouthamptonCentral I think England are stacked in both midfield and attack but I am little concerned about the defense. Chances are the back four will be Walker-Maguire-Stones-Gomez, I have not much faith in all for various reasons besides Walker, who's one of the best in his position. But should one suffer an injury, odds are a centreback with little to no international experience will be called upon. The Three Lions could win it for sure, and I'd give them a great chance if the tournament was held in England. Hungary is def an emerging team, though I'm not entirely convinced about them, and vs Spain/Italy/Croatia will be a massive task for them.

Underrated
I see Portugal in the final.
Definitely possible, that’s what I predicted in my original predictions a few months ago 🇵🇹
My Predictions:
Winner: Germany
2nd: Portugal
Underdog: Hungary/Ukraine
Disappointment: Italy
Germany-Portugal final is impossible if both win their groups
…Portugal better than Germany
The great thing about sport is that reality is far from what is predicted
Yes, absolutely nobody could've guessed Usain Bolt would win the 100m dash at the Beijing Olympics in 2008.

Frimpong

Leao
Ronaldo
Silva
Bench
Van De Ven
Ake
Cancelo
Paulinha
Vitinha
