@@weks i appreciate you. I just recall youtube at one time would give content providers a benefit whenever viewers would watch for an extended amount of time. With timestamps, people may go to the fragrance that they're interested in and leave after hearing about it. Hence why a lot of content would be just over 10:00 min. I think that was threshold for the algorithm.. Not 100% sure but I recall hearing that. Regardless we all appreciate it!

I agree with most if the list, especially tobacco Vanille. But I disagree with bleu de chanel parfum. It kills it scent wise, way better than the edp, the quality and richness just make it S tier Imo
Gucci Guilty EDT is one of those scents that I didn't like when I first got it, but once my collection grew and I came back to it two years later and now I'm blown away by how easy it is to wear to any place but yet still is appealing to people and is definitely a compliment getter.
I have the Original ADG. It is my most complimented fragrance ever. I even got compliments from strangers a couple of times. That never happens to any of my other 20 fragrances. I think ADG DNA is still completely not outdated at all. Modern classic!!!
Tier lists are hard because there are so many different criteria you have to consider like originality, historic significance, originality, personal preference, etc. Fragrance like aqua di gio is hard to grade because bettter flankers have come out since then but the original had such a big impact on the world of fragrances. Heck it’s one of the classics that are studies by students going into perfumery. It’s hard to put it on a tier because there are better fragrances out there currently but it’s has so much historic significance.
@@lukapotocnik5017 Neither the EDP or the EDT has great performance to be honest. The EDP is slightly better than the original though, but still not great. Of the two, I prefer the smell of the EDT more since it’s a bit lighter and fresher, but it seems like most people enjoy the better performance and slightly richer smell of the EDP. Worth trying a sample if you can. 👍🏻
@Mao LeBron It’s not a strong amber scent like Grand Soir or something like that, but it definitely has amber-ish sort of vibes. It’s like a soft, sweet tobacco sort of scent. It’s fairly light, particularly the EDT, which has a kind of airyness to it, so it’s not super dense. Try and see if you can sniff it out at a store some time. 👍🏻
I found the opening to be atrocious on my skin but then the dry down was great. Unfortunately I won't buy a fragrance unless I like it from start to finish. Seems weird to spend money on something I don't like on the grounds that it eventually improves. That being said, I'm sure that opening is great for many people along with the dry down.
Great list! I feel a bit generic owning many of these, but I think there's a reason they sell so well - you definitely won't go wrong with the majority of them
I have obviously learnt alot since my first go at collection it was about quantity but then moved on 90% of what I owned, got back into it about 3 yrs ago, Im not a niche person not because of the money but to me in designer world there are so many hidden gems, but i own 95% of these and its all quality over quanitity so nothing in the Fragrance Room gets in unless its quality in my moderate 70 bottle collection, but coming into the warmer months now in Aust I have done alot of labour, so the wallet is shut and i will be enjoying the fruits of my labour.
I would only move both Gio’s to S tier it’s my favorite scent smells amazing…also I would switch sauvage EDT to A tier everytime I wear it I get tons of compliments more then the EDP

Random layering idea I got from thinking about Stronger With You. Eros Flame and Burberry London. The opening is similar but the layering comes of way fruitier. Reminds me of Juicy Fruit. Actually very nice if you like sweetness. This creates a very similar scent imo. Not spot on, but similarities.
It's a shame that Givenchy as a house doesn't get the hype/sales it deserves. Maybe the heavy focus on iris doesn't push the numbers I thought it might.
I got Luna Rossa black and I love its smell but it fades away way too quickly! Disappointed by that, very much, as I heard in other channels that this was a beast mode fragrance.

Hey Ash, I know you are a fan of Prada LR Black, as am I. So if you haven't tried Scotch Porter's "Miami Duppy", I suggest you give it a go. It has a very very similar powdery tonka and amber accord but with a bit of saffron mixed in. The fragrance is very nice and since it's Scotch Porter, it's not expensive. Just throwing it out there.

Has Dior "Sauvage EDT" been reformulated to the extent that it's become weaker? I wouldn't know, but I've heard some people saying that it's become noticeably weaker than before.

There's a great tobacco scent called Versace The Dreamer one Varsace himself before hos death but it's not expensive about $50 AUD and just smells great way different to any versaces out there.
I think a bunch of people expected that Burberry would fix Hero with the EDP but missed the mark and they were stuck with it. If they made the Hero EDT stronger and more intense I would absolutely love it but unfortunately it’s too light and turns into a skin sent quick. I was hoping the EDP would perfect Hero but nope…
The EDP version/eau intense of Light Blue by D&B is one of the highest rated summer fragrances in the game. Take out that EDT version and put it in A, or B at worst

I don't really care if they are best sellers. Some, like Aventus, are obvious best sellers. I just would like to see a list of niche fragrances ranked in S to D fashion the way he did these fragrances. Dolce Gabanna the one is overrated… I had it and sold it… it was okay but not versatile at all and wasn’t the best date night fragrance I’ve had. Not bad at all, but I just think it’s a “B”
I don't think most people skip to the end, they just wish that fragrances that are either their favorites or ones they are curious about were on this list. Ash was smart to select best sellers though doing another list with alternatives or niche fragrances would be nice.

@@hedonismbot3274 lucky don't seem to of changed it still lasts really well unlike the OG 1 million. OG frags get the reformation not so much flankers. Lucky is now discontinued but you can still get it easily. Also try the new JPG scandal intense le parfum. It really smells like lucky. It's very hard to tell the difference. Also check out 1 million elixir it's a beautiful scent and better than lucky
Just like the music charts this list was wrong...lol. D & G The One is so overrated ....I can barley smell it when I first put it on. It doesn't project and fades within two hours. That date night better go fast or she's not going to smell it! Love the channel dude , keep it up.

I agree with you. Parfum is the best in my opinion. Even is you say EDP is more versatile, BDC Parfum is at least A tier.
Yeah same the parfum is amazing,,. It’s the best of the line hands down, it last and projects way better
Agree on the richness, and it's well blended; but to my nose both are too syrupy, prefer the edt.
For me, both BdC should be on same tier. Parfum got that richer, darker and smooth scent (which I prefer), while edp is fresher and overall decent.
Trust me. BDC parfum is slightly better than edp. It has a little bit similar drydown to Lanuit bleu electric which I really like.

Blue De Chanel is a basic fragrance but it’s timeless and smells INCREDIBLE. i will forever find myself with BDC!

I will have to disagree only on the placement of BdC Parfum. I would put that on top alongside the EDP. The scent is too amazing in the drydown.

I have both, personally i like the spicebomb extreme more in terms of scent, and it lasts significantly longer but again that is just me.
The one projects heavily for two hours before a huge drop off in performance, but i still get whiffs of the spicebomb after 8-10 hours
I like to spray 3 the one edp, then one or two of eros. I get amazing results

Seems like a lot of people just skip to the end and complain why some fragrances aren’t on the list.
I don't think most people skip to the end, they just wish that fragrances that are either their favorites or ones they are curious about were on this list. Ash was smart to select best sellers though doing another list with alternatives or niche fragrances would be nice.

This is funny because it’s true. I get my perfumes from Macy’s or Nordstrom’s. Now I order it from the primary website he uses, which is fragrancenet.
Luna rosa black is discontinued... people are buying backup bottles...
It is not, still on the Prada website and in stores.

@@blackbass4u2c maybe it's marketing technic just like prada l'homme intense. A few months ago on reddit someone posted that Luna Rossa Black had disappeared from the Prada website. But yesterday I checked it was available again on the Prada website and I also checked online stores that were still available.

I said on the Prada website now it's available again 🤷 It doesn't make sense for them to produce again and wait for the stock to run out again before it will be discontinued 🤔 we'll see, but i'm sure it will not discontinue because prada luma rossa black, prada carbon, l'homme and l'homme intense are their best selling.

I thought BdC Parfum and 1Million would be placed higher, but the rest I got right :))
1 million is so weak now since reformulation. Elixir on the other hand is way better and performs brilliant. I get 10 hours out of it
@@kylem8811 hey ! What about the lucky one ? I used up my 7 year old one million bottle and thought about getting a new one but if the formula has changed i am not so sure. I am just getting into fragrances so any advice would be cool... will probably get the one, dylan blue and spicebomb anyways for diversity. Thanks.
@@hedonismbot3274 lucky don't seem to of changed it still lasts really well unlike the OG 1 million. OG frags get the reformation not so much flankers. Lucky is now discontinued but you can still get it easily. Also try the new JPG scandal intense le parfum. It really smells like lucky. It's very hard to tell the difference. Also check out 1 million elixir it's a beautiful scent and better than lucky

Just like the music charts this list was wrong...lol. D & G The One is so overrated ....I can barley smell it when I first put it on. It doesn't project and fades within two hours. That date night better go fast or she's not going to smell it! Love the channel dude , keep it up.
