    Here is the cheat code. Women love freshies and sweet colognes and a combo of the two is always going to be the winner. Men tend to love deep spicy, leather and tobacco fragrances. Most women don’t enjoy them. If are wearing cologne to attract women Azzoro’s most wanted will absolutely do the job, (or something similar) If you wear cologne because you enjoy how different fragrances make you feel than the world is your oyster…enjoy.

    • @celita8183
      @celita8183 3 роки тому

      Yes layering takes time to figure out what works best for you. Usually what you put on at the top of the day if you haven't showered, shouldn't be reapplied again. You may not smell it because your nose has turned blind to the scent but someone in your personal space will notice the reapplication. After a long day, maybe a light pulse point dab could be reapplied but generally your natural body oils, your body heat and that fragrance applied at the top of the day will still linger on you.

And I haven't smelled anything like Y Edp where it smells like a watery apple up top yet is so sweet. The opening is killer. To me Drakkar smells awful. One of the only cologne I've owned that I sprayed on and immediately washed off. When I bought it from a rack store I thought it smelled like body odor. I only got into fragrances back in 2019 but the first time I smelled Acqua Di Gio it reminded me a lot of some aftershaves I used to use. Being around so long apparently means the fragrance shows up in other product types. There's nothing inherently wrong with things that have been around a while; we recommend men get a navy or dark gray suit as their first suit after all and ADG is a great smell. But as someone that now enjoys fragrances in and of themselves, I wanted to steer clear of something that could smell like something from the shaving aisle at a grocery store and imagine so would some others.
      The real kicker for me though was smelling it or something similar on a friend in his early 20s. Love the guy but I in my late 30s don't want to smell similar to him.

    I think it's a little bit unfair. You put Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme in the good to go, and a pretty affordable Azzaro Wanted in the "meh" category because they are "not so strong", but you put a 250+$ Creed in the top category with weak performance (literally 2-3 hours)

      Some people have the type of body chemistry that absorbs a fragrance very quickly and it doesn't really matter the concentration of essential oils to alcohol carrier. While your journey to finding the right scents is longer then most,, once you find the ones that work for you best, you'll be very happy!

      Allure homme sport eau extreme is my signature. Last 6 hours on skin. Shirt 12 hours. Not strongest but its best for me in hot weather. I like it more than Bleu cause of my weather conditions. I own both.

    Drakkar Noir, said it on multiple chanel, signature scent since I'm 13 YO. Got me into fragrances (having a real EDT/cologne). Paid full price for it with my little christmas and birthday money, used like liquid gold by tiny bit of spray. Still to this day, I rock it on and is my FAVORITE scent I love to wear it.

      Agreed. Her essential fragrances are inspirational. Everything you could want is in her collection. The simplicity and complimentary fragrance design is what sets her mostly unisex scents apart. The Jo Malone company changed hands in 1999 but the commitment to quality has not changed, which is a very good surprise for customers!

    Hey Antonio,
    My favorite fragrances
    Penhaligon's Blenheim Bouquet, was created in 1902 for the Duke of Marlborough. A timeless mix of citrus oils, spices, woods and has notes of lemon, lime and lavender. I've worn in since I was 16, I'm 64 now. If you haven't experienced this I'd 100% give it a try!
    I'm sure you know this one, kind of a cult following. Le Labo’s Santal 33, cardamom, ambrox and cedar wood scent.
    Both these fragrances have solid staying power!

    Maybe it's the temperate weather in America and Europe that helps. Living in Africa, i find that the humidity negatively affects staying power of fragrances. My strongest fragrances (Black Orchid Parfum) was barely perceptible after 2 hours, but that was before i learnt from Curly to be trigger happy!
    P/S: I prefer the Profondo better.

    • @celita8183
      @celita8183 3 роки тому

      Absolutely the temperature in your home is going to affect the essential oils and the synthetic liquid that makes up your fragrances!!! Generally it's better to keep fragrances in a temperature-controlled area like the inside of a drawer or a closet shelf and away from heat and light, treat them like a bottle of wine or other aged spirit.

  • @rockywaters9592
    @rockywaters9592 Рік тому

    I don't like Joop either "as a cologne" for that same reason, BUT! I do use the Joop natural deodarant which isn't as strong but lasts longer than the EDT. It's great when used lightly underarm and chest. It's not intrusive like the EDT and sits nicely under your main cologne without overpowering it.
