Not sure the slapping the side option was the best, I guess its to stop kids pressing buttons and stopping stuff? It is just that we are in the phase of teaching our son not to wack things and throw things or hit them like he is, this might just confuse matters but it sure is great. I think ill wait till hes a little older and get him one for sure, great review and information.

I highly recommend the tonic box, it has outstanding success in Germany, so we got ourselves one while we were stationed there. Its so great to see that it finally is also available on the US market. Our lo loved it since she was 12 mo and since we are bilingual, we got a bunch of the German tonies before we came back. I do assume they will start translating more of the tonies into englisch.

This is just what I need. I don't have much time for my kids. I usually just sit them infront of the TV. They are always asking for me to read them bedtime stories so I'm going to buy this as a substitute 👍 love the little horns on it too 👅🤘

My concern about this is if it reads to the children, parents won’t read as much to them. I don’t find it every beneficial for speech but I can see how it can entertain.
This certainly isn't meant to replace reading to your kiddos, just as screen free entertainment

Hey Kat! Yes, there's a headphone jack located on the Toniebox. You'll find it at the top of the Toniebox near the ears.
I’ve heard the volume is quite low. How have YOU found it?
If you pinch the ears, the volume increases! I don't find it quiet at all.

The volume is low I’m hard of hearing my kids don’t find the volume an issue I just make sure there is now other background sounds

I think this is my first UA-cam comment ever. You should look into the camera when you’re talking. Your eyes being focused on something above the camera was incredibly distracting.
