Amazing how Beksinski and Ballard were both normal dudes who just happened to pump out terrifying banger artworks time after time.
Such a perfect combination!
Beksiński has been probably in my top 3 favourite artists in the past couple ot months. His world is truly astonishing - surreal, distopian and full with dread and anxiety that no word can describe. And even though he refused to interpret his paintings, I think they tell a lot about the human soul - especially of our fears.
You've described it very well. Even though seemingly abstract and surreal, Beksinski work is metaphysically revealing the existential angst of a human condition; fear, loneliness and a quest for something bigger than oneself.

It's AI art. If anyone polish created this - they used AI. Run the image through the detectors and it's clear as day flagged as AI created. On the helmet specifically you can see tell tale signs of AI swirls that repeat in AI art.

If I may request / suggest, if you're familiar at all with Fallout 1 and 2 and how grim they were compared to the Bethesda treatment, I think an ambient that captures the Brotherhood of Steel theme from the new Amazon show what makes it darker to fit the soundtrack of Fallout 1 would be a fantastic exploration of a post-apocalyptic monastic order
