See my reply to that comment in the Sindhu vid, I'll add a bit more in here for context but lets start with Uncle Bal.
Uncle Bal is the owner of a local store who had a UA-cam channel called Sindhu World where he'd feature some stuff he sold in his shop and a few recipes. He had made some sus 'health' product with his daughter's piano teacher Bas. Trading standards were not happy and breathing down Bal's neck so Bal (and I guess Bas) made a song/video to raise some money in case of problems with the law. There's a song out there called "Sun Shines (On You)" and it's nothing to do with Hip Hop or ghost writing or Pete and Bas. There's an old article about it from the time where Bal talks about his employees involved and years later Pete talks about his grandchildren helping out with the lingo/slang on the rap records but the two are unconnected. A lot of Snoops lyrics were written for him, I don't think Uncle Bal was responsible for that either! I don't think Bal has ever written rap lyrics except about his fresh buns ('Sindhu World' did one Uncle Bal video). Ignore all this its not important. That's why the story for most people starts with Pete - who was a customer of Bal's - being put in touch with Bas (who Bal knew) by Bal. None of this contradicts what came later and there's nothing controversial going on.
Now onto Pete and Bas Origins (maybe a title for the biopic/documentary!). This is the start of the story for most people. Pete - in his 60's, liked ska, soul, some rock and pop, ex-mod been around the block and has the tattoos to show for it - used to pick up his granddaughter from school. She was always changing the station on his car radio to hip hop. Pete hated it but eventually came round and started to like it. Pete wanted to do something for his granddaughter's birthday and was speaking to Bal in his local shop. Bal put Pete in touch with Bas - Piano teacher, early 70's, jazz and 60's rock fan, bean around the block too - and a video was made. 'Shut ya Mouth' is the end result, light years from what they did later on but good enough to go viral, then they made more videos and a mix tape and started touring!
A bit about 'Sindhu Sesh'. When Pete and Bas and the people involved (like Bal and 91 Shots) wanted to do videos it was easy, put them out on youtube, they even got them distributed by GRM Daily (grime channel). When they wanted a Daily Duppy or any booth track they got blanked so 'Sindhu World' (Bal etc) painted up a room somewhere and 'Sindhu Sesh' was born. So far only Pete and Bas and PKJ (one of the Northern Boys) has done a 'sesh' (session) in the booth. There's even a failed rapper reactor who has been doubting Pete and Bas who was mocking how bad the interior was painted up, but Uncle Bal ('Sindhu World') just finances the stuff and all these guys are amateurs. They (P&B, 91, Handsome Dexter) just happen to be fire. My take on it is imagine some New York Italian-American old guys rapping like they talk. No one's done it. Pete and Bas sounds like old style Londoners and most of their lingo is old plus they're styles are so different to each other I think they write most of it themselves. They also like oldskool rap and you'll here a lot of 90's/00's Gangsta in there. There's a team around them but its a cottage industry and not some cynical major label gimmick (Maury and whatsisface). Like NWA early on. That's why its so good.
For me I have enough reaction videos of them to keep me going but I do sometimes like to listen to the audio tracks and all I know is they haven't put out a bad track yet. Over 30 since 2017 when they started including a couple people miss - 'Stepz (ft. Pete and Bas) Grandad' and 'You know Its Christmas'. So much variety.

      Well said! 👏🏾👏🏾
The stereotype that pensioners should be 'sat in a box, watching a box, and waiting for a box' is ridiculous in this day and age. Healthy people are active! And healthy senior citizens are outside, occasionally viewing the box, and living their lives!
Oh, and crime didn't start in the year 2000.

Pete many not have much shape but he could still bonk your bird 😂
I agree with what you say, it's not so important if they have ghostwriters. Still I think they contribute towards the writing.
Sindhuworld is a registered company, incorporated September 2017, by two young men 😉
These two men I think are 91 shots and handsome dexter. It seems obvious that they are major contributors when it comes to writing and producing for p&b. It doesn't change anything for me, I'm still a huge fan . 👍

espadrille is a type of summer shoe, woven straw sole and cloth toe and heel, fagging was what kids did at private schools; it was the younger ones cleaning sports kit of the elder kids etc, see a most famous story /film of "tom brown's school days" for details. Personally I wouldn't be surprised if AI was involved, still don't care, banging tunes and its nice to see old boys have fun.

I doubt they were using AI before chatgpt was released. This rules out chatgpt being used to write Sindhu Sesh, because chatgpt wasn't released until one month after the track was released, november 2022.
That's not to say they didn't use some form of AI, but I think it's unlikely.
The four track they have released since then all seem perfectly human 😅 Sindhu Sesh was an absolute beast lyrically 🤯
