    I so appreciate you for making this video. You covered all my concerns.
    I wish I had watched this video before going on a wild-goose chase to four different stores trying to find a playpen for my 9 month old 🙈

    WONDERFUL discussion and explanation. My wife and I were looking for a review of “play yards” and this was SO helpful. We are grandparents to 3-year-old little boy and 9-month-old little girl. (Pictures available upon request 😁) We’re shopping for a play yard to stay at Gran and Papa’s. Your video was perfect for a number of reasons, not the least of which was your instantly *personable* style. We looked at another video you made and I said, “oh! That’s a good sign! She’s an SLP!” 😁 (I’m a child psychiatrist.)
    You look and sound very happy with your energetic (highly verbal 👍🏽) little guys and with this second “profession.” Thank you for sharing all this with the rest of us.

    Thank you so much for your review!! I'm a new grandma who's doing granny daycare for our 7 month old grandson. I have looked at all three of these exact play yards, and was trying to decide which one to buy!! I think I'm going to get #2, because it looks like it would be easy to set up on the deck outside when the weather is nice 🌞😎

    We have the first one. We love this playpen! One thing i will say is that we had to reinforce the joints with ductape. Our little one found out how to take it apart and escape.

    Very helpful! We don't have much room in our living room, but our little boy is starting to flip over on his own regularly, so crawling will be coming soon, and we need an easy way to make sure he stays safe while getting used to crawling. Thank you so much!

    Thanks for making this video! My baby is crawling everywhere now and pulling himself up wherever he can. I was concerned that the play yards would topple over when a baby is at this stage which is why I started searching for reviews. Are all 3 yards in your review sturdy enough to withstand the weight of a 9 month old baby pulling himself up?

      Aww I’m so glad this was helpful! So far, my boys are 17 months old and the playpens that we still use are the angelbliss play pen and the toddleroo North states play pen. Definitely tall enough for a 9+ month old! The white and gray one in our living room did end up being a little too short and we had to put that one away a couple months ago. I hope that helps! Best of luck to you and your sweet baby 🥰🍼

    I have what I believe is a large 18 month old boy, he's pretty destructive so I can't reasonably go with the angel bliss because the net would just be too easy for him to put holes in, but my question is do you think that the plastic ones are tall enough or sturdy enough for a toddler that may be interested in trying to climb out or push on the sides?

    • @ellenfrankspeechtherapy
      @ellenfrankspeechtherapy  3 роки тому

      I totally understand. And yes, those plastic ones are durable and very sturdy. We still use the one I mentioned in this video (north states toddleroo playpen) and bought another to use in a separate room. I hope this helps!

    I'm currently waiting for the first one in this video to arrive. I'm kind of regretting it and wishing I got something easier to set up just incase I want to take it somewhere with me but I guess the chances of me actually traveling with it are kind of low....

      @ellenfrankspeechtherapy  3 роки тому +3

      Definitely the toddleroo north states playard that I had in the nursery. SO easy to set up and break down. It folds like an accordion and can lay flat in your trunk. It’s the least bulky of the three when traveling! I hope that helps!

    • @ellenfrankspeechtherapy
      @ellenfrankspeechtherapy  3 роки тому

      @@Cynthia-H96 yes! I think I can picture what you’re talking about. You can mount it straight to the wall or you can prop it upright between pieces of furniture to make sure it stands up if you want it to face against the wall. And that’s assuming that you are talking about the toddleroo north states playard.

    Which one would you recommend between the first and second one for My baby? He’s about to be 9 months old and wants to walk / already crawling but I’m scared for the second one because I feel like he would lean on it.. would it fall altogether?

    • @ellenfrankspeechtherapy
      @ellenfrankspeechtherapy  3 роки тому +3

      I would actually have to say the third one. The toddlerRoo north states one. My boys are 20 months old now and I have to say that that is the only playpen we still have standing. It is the sturdiest, most easy to adapt to different rooms and spaces, most portable, and most functional. You are able to totally secure it into position and the babies do not Knock them over. I hope that helps! I literally just got back from a trip to my in-laws house and brought that playpen and it was a lifesaver.
