Mark is a legend he sold off his guitars raised £million for charity this is so elegantly softly composed they enjoyed playing that as much as we enjoyed watching it and listening to it ,,these youngsters don't know what music is which is sad with techno beat these days

"Dick" Samuels (OPR-1), the founder and operator for 34 years of the Oregon Pacific Railroad Company (OPR) in Portland, Oregon, USA, who died earlier this year at the age of 77 from a sudden illness related to COVID-19. Mr. K, a tall and humble man. Met him for a moment in Canterbury Records, on Colorado Blvd. in Pasadena, CA. He was, as I was, flipping through rows of discs. A sweet person wrote this sweet tune. LOCAL HERO will always be a film favorite. 1983 was a different world, for sure!

Ihr habt ein tolles Arrangement der Komposition, tragt dies mit der Virtuosität vor, die scheinbar einfach daher kommt, aber dabei eine enorme und unmittelbar spürbare Emotionalität auf Zuhörer überträgt. Die Flötistin, der Gitarrist spielen mit warmem und vollen Ton, der bei allem Staunen über die Instrumentenbeherrschung direkt ins Herz geht. Von wegen ein bisschen Pop. Euch gelingt eine der besten Interpretationen dieses Songs!
