- My wife Thais and I head out for a beautiful one night camp on a beautiful lake surrounded by pristine wilderness. Great wild life sightings and catch and cook. In Ontario, Canada.
Music is my own composition and can be found in longer form at @afternoonhue
Sooo a beautiful Video! I love the birds 🦅 Photos
Thank you, Lismos! Yes, the birds were beautiful on this trip!
Beautiful, I felt like I was there. It’s nice to see Thais in another video, the two of you make a beautiful couple and fit right in the beauty that surrounds you. Thank you for another one of your artistic expressions.
Thank you so much!
Wow !! Just wow…
:) Thank you!
Such serene shots Max! Thanks for sharing 🙂
My pleasure! Thank you! :)
Thanks for another great video..
Thanks for watching, Frey!
Pressing like without even watching. True magic in each video you getting out!
Means a lot thank you!
Another amazingly beautiful art piece! Lovin' the bird IDs and so much more. 🙌
Thank you so much 😀
I watched again!!! So peaceful and amazing!!
Thank you Michael! My apologies for the late reply! :) Hope you are well.
Nothing to apologize about Max!! 😊😊😊
just the first shots with the mist completely catched me... i love that. the sounds in the night could been an owlet if you have them there. they make the weirdest noises... one around here sounds like a crying child, the other one sounds more like an owl. hard to describe.
thanks for sharing and keep up the great work mate
Thanks Nachtmahr!
So much beauty! Thank you for sharing this. Wish it was longer. Take care. Much ❤
Thanks a lot!
Hey man, your the best!
Thanks, Jason! :)
So relaxing watching your videos. I especially liked the dragonfly captures you got.
Good catch Thais!! You make it look so easy.
Thanks for taking us along.
Thanks Lucie!
What a beautiful trip! Thais is a natural. I hope you two are able to get out often on camping trips but not always filmed and shared. Your eye for detail is amazing. You aren't just an outdoorsman, you have such an eye for capturing wildlife. You have a true gift. Thank you for bringing us along on this one!
Yeah once she starts fishing I can't get her to stop haha. We've done so many trips without filming - these days we try to film whenever we can to help the channel grow - but it doesn't get in the way of enjoying the outdoor. I think that because our focus is mostly on wildlife and quite beautiful moments, it feels less like "filming UA-cam content" and more like just another outdoor hobby to enjoy outdoors, like painting or fishing. Setting up cameras, walking away, then coming back to get gear etc is a pain... But you get a lot of pleasure out of looking at how the shot came out - definitely feels like trying to make a piece of art. :)
@@maximbudnick I subscribed to your music content as well. Had to turn it off in the office, it was too relaxing for 9am! 😂
@@skmarrama Haha cool!
So nice to see your wife join you. Stunning scenery and wildlife, loved the underwater shots. So very relaxing,. :-)
Glad you enjoyed it!
Beautiful. Love how you captured the amazing beauty around you and let it do the taking. Love your videos.
Thanks! you are appreciated!
What a great video again, Maxim!
All the details and wonderful images you captured....
I like it so much!
Wonderful atmosphere and you dive into a world that is hidden from many people because they sadly lack attention.
Thank you so much for sharing.
I look forward to each new video from you! Great work!!!
Thank you so so much for your kind words Stephanie!
Magical. Loved every second of this one.
Awesome, David! Thanks for stopping by :)
Amazing Imagery - very serene paired with your own composition!
Thank you, my friend! Cheers
Fantastic footage of eagle n hawk wow! Love this vid it was truly stunning, the music is perfect it doesn't compete with visuals or overide natural sounds. My soul feels so nourished from watching. Thankyou for sharing your beautiful country. Greetings from Aus 💚
Yeah the eagle and hawk were great to watch in person, but when I reviewed the footage is when I saw how great the acrobatics were. Thanks for watching!
Oh man your videos are amazing. So beautiful with an artist’s eye❤ love the bluebird, quite rare theses days!
Thank you very much!
The intro, the music, the sounds and the visual images... the heron walking along the shore with the moving waters (great shot by the way)....to how the oars enter the waters as you paddle, the brief laughter caught between you and Thais, very peaceful indeed. Thank you!
Thank you, JB! Yeah I was so happy to get that shot of the heron eating the fish - I snuck around following it for a couple hours :D Cheers!
@@maximbudnick A couple hours?? Whoa. :)
I was also canoe chauffeuring Thais around as she fished as quietly as possible so it wasn't too tedious
@@maximbudnick You're mindful of yourself and those you are with.
So beautiful, so short, and ethereal! The mists on opening and clouds on closing; filled with Beauty in between. Love your work. 🙏
Thank you so much!
You guys are good team…
Another visual treat…
I believe the unusual sound was a Barred Owl….
Please keep up the good work!
Barred Owl! You got it! Was hoping someone in the comments would! Thanks for that and thank you for watching!
@@maximbudnick You and your lady provide a lot of wonderful content and we Appreciate you taking us along with you!
Nicely done on the eery sound
@@darrellcaruk8880 Thank you, Darrell!
Yup! So happy to know!
Incredible cinematography. You really do a great job capturing that "calm" that is often experienced while in nature. Good stuff!
Thank you very much!
Yours, Xanders and Jons youtube channels are the only one I watch. They bring me inner peace. From the three of you, you do the less talking in your vids, but have the most beautifull pictures and transport the most tranquility. Ì love watching, please continue and share your stunning nature with us. Greetings from Germany!
Hello, Kerstin! My apologies for taking so long to reply! Happy to hear my video brings you peace! By the way, my mother is German, and I have also lived in Germany for a little bit which I very much enjoyed. Thank you for stopping by!
@@maximbudnick Oha, wusste ich nicht. Sprichst du deutsch? ;) After watching your videos for so long now, I´m doing a crazy 4-night trip to Canada/Algonquin park next weekend to do, what you all do and I admire so much. So thanks for your inspiration.
Unfortunately I don't speak much German, though living there I noticed myself slowly starting to understand more and more of what people were saying. I guess I did subconsciously learn some from listening to my mother, but I would need a lot of practice to bring it out. How was your Algonquin trip?
dawg i just came back from my own canoe trip and this was such a vibe to watch. y'all are the definition of peace. Youre the goat.
Amazing I hope you enjoyed! Thank you for you kind words!
Your videos are getting better and better, Max!
Thanks Ryan!
Hi
Another beautiful video
In this place we call Canada. 🌈
See ya on the next one
Thank you DOnna! Heading out on the next one in a couple hours. Packing up :)
Love the serenity of your videos, I just sit back and relax and enjoy the beauty and solace of your trips. Makes you enjoy life a little bit more! Thank you 😊!
Hey, Jim! It's awesome to hear the videos I make are relaxing to people - I really appreciate you taking the time to tell me :) All the best!
Beautiful video Max, you're very talented. Watched it twice already 😂 peace and love ❤️ 🙏 Paul 🇬🇧
Watched twice already?! :p Thank you, Paul. All the best to you
Another beautiful, relaxing video - so well done! That call was a barred owl 🦉 Found your channel through Xander. Perfect way to unwind at the end of a stressful day. Thank you!
Really appreciate that!
You should get an award to your amazing and skillful photography.
Such a beautiful and peaceful camping trip with your wife.
I love watching your videos .
Thank you, Annemarie. It was a really peaceful trip :)
I feel stupid when all I can say is "stunning"....but...stunning!!!
Haha don't feel stupid! Thank you! :D
Another great video showing us the Canadian beauty you live in, really enjoy the way you put yours together, it's unlike most others. Bass are my favorite fish species to eat. That would be a Great Horned Owl, had 2 of them hooting in the valley I was smallie fishing in last night, 1 was in a tree above my vehicle. Yours was distant, they are actually very loud up close. Love their call.
Hello, Ron! Thanks for letting me know it was a Great Horned Owl - I was hoping someone in the comments would. I appreciate the kind words. Cheers!
Beautiful! This planet of ours is really something!
Really is! Thanks for waching, Lindsay!
Man, I love the nature scenes you capture. I've really only just begun with videography and documenting my trips, and you've absolutely inspired me to experiment more with similar shots, though they never come out quite as nice as yours! Maybe someday!
Hey thanks a lot1 really happy to hear you are getting out there and filming. People often ask if the experience takes away from just being in nature I actually think it adds
@@maximbudnick I agree. It really makes you tune in to what is happening around you when looking for shots. Doing those closeups really exposes you to small details in things that you would otherwise miss; specific sights and sounds that get lost in the greater context of "being out in nature". It's really given me appreciation for all the small components that make the experience as a whole. Keep up the good stuff!
Wonderful video and music too! Wow amazing, thank you.
Glad you enjoyed the video and music as well :) Thanks for watching!
Thought it was a national geographic video, so beautiful, it’s magical!!!!
Thank you, Lucy! You are too kind :)
Absolutely loved this one Max. No condensation required for this. A masterpiece on its own and great right before bed.
Thanks 🙂
Images as poems; scenes as stories. Beautiful video. The hum of the music is nice. The editing is masterful. Thank you.
Thank you very much!
what a beautiful quality cinematic content. Please never stop making such peaceful life. It helps us feel peace and enjoy in our busy life. ❤🍃🌧
Thank you, Arslan!) I will keep making them :)
Your music and videography honor Mother Earth in all the best ways. I guess the burn ban in Canada has been lifted. It was lovely seeing Thais join you on this peaceful and tasty adventure. Your musical score was so soothing. I assume Xander uses your music too. I have followed him longer and truth be told his ethereal music choice was a big part of why I subscribed to his channel. He also makes me laugh or smile big. You make me cry (in a good way) and dream. We get one life on this fantastical planet. You are truly living it. Much love to you and Thais. The Earth needs you.
Thank you so much! Yes Xander has been using some of the music I composed a while back well before I even started this channel a little over a year ago now. Thank you for your wonderful words of support 🙂
And wait, I just caught that the music is yours, Max?! I always felt that the music was so right, so soothing, the perfect backdrop to the stunning visuals that you present. And these are your compositions?! My initial comment was that I was floored by another amazing vid. I'm now beyond floored. Just... wow.
Yes Alan, this some music I composed a while back. Really appreciate your support as always, means a lot!
Great footage Max. I love your filming style and always look forward to your videos!!! THX CHEERS!!!
My pleasure, Ian! Thank you for the kind words. Hope to keep making videos you can look forward to! Cheers!
I love your videos - beautiful and informative. It's great that you label the animals.
Thank you, Rodd. Glad you like the labels and don't feel that they clutter up the visuals. Cheers!
Beautifully filmed love the birds .. the shot of the lily pads with the pink skies reflection made me gasp .. it was all so beautiful.. my guess of the questionable evening calls would be an owl 😊
Yup seems like it was a barred owl. Such a beautiful and haunting sound... Thanks for stopping by, Patti!
Just keep finding the right video and managing life and you will be fine. Safe adventures.
Thank you, Michael! Cheers
Well done! Fantastic footage and cinematography! Thanks for sharing your adventure 😊
Hello and thank you, Gilles! Cheers!
Beautiful piece on beautiful peace. This is art Max. Thank you.
Thanks Flackee! :)
Great photography. Nice 13:56 minutes in my day :)
Thank you, Stephen! All the best to you!
Medical school exam coming up and these videos still manage to destress me and appreciate life in its purest form even if I’m not out in nature, thanks Maxim.
I'm honoured that they help! Good luck with your exam!
@@maximbudnick thanks man!
Let me know how it goes! :D
Whoa! When the eagle does an arial 360 from the hawk! Great capture!
I was truly incredible to watch! Glad you enjoyed! Cheers
Wow!.. Another great nature video Maxim and I'm glad you brought along your wife Thais, she's amazing at fishing 😃, you'll never go hungry out there.
Again, the nature shots are amazing and also the drone shots give credence to how vast and beautiful Canada truly is...Thank you for this wonderful video!...🌟❤️👍😎🇨🇦🙏
My pleasure! Glad you enjoyed it! Yeah Thais is patient and obsessive fishing and I don't mind! 🐟🥘
Thank you for the great pictures of wildlife, nature, and the clear sounds of birds, plus identifying them for us! A pleasure to see!!!
Thank you for watching!
The whole video is very pleasant and relaxing, the macros are wonderful but the little underwater sequence is magical. Thank you so much. Cheers from France
Thank you, Serge! It is my pleasure to share :) Cheers! 🇨🇦🇫🇷
Wow, floored once again at the way you're able to highlight the best of our great outdoors. And that closing shot where you accelerated the movement of the clouds, brilliant. You're able to make a bug, a bird, a fish, a cloud look stunning. I initially came here because of my interest in bushcrafting, and now I'm here as much to be wowed by your videography skills. Heartwarming to see you sharing your passion for the outdoors with your wife, as well. Another beautiful adventure, another beautiful work, and I'm already looking forward to the next one.
Thanks again Alan, I a glad that you have joined me on this journey! And thank you the insight into why you came to this channel and why you stayed 🙂
Wow Max, once again left in awe! Every shot feels so thoughtfully framed and crafted. I swear when I’m in nature myself taking it all in I don’t get as much detail as your videos provide. This one especially gave me the perspective to slow down and not look always at the big picture, but pay more attention to the finer details. True beauty lies in the little moments!
Thanks Evan, I am honoured to have helped you slow down a bit!
You nailed the camera shots on this one.
Thank you, Mike!
Beautifully done! . Very peaceful and healing. The sound around 5 minute mark could be a mourning dove.
Thanks for that Christina! I'll look up some mourning dove calls to see if I can confirm. Glad you enjoyed the video! :)
Great job! Beautiful and peaceful.
Thanks!
Thanks for identifying the wildlife. Great video!
You are very welcome!
Another beautiful video by you. Thank you for this. I appreciate how you SEE the world around you. Connected to it, not just in it. I was recently at a lake west of Ottawa and was privileged to see, thanks to my binoculars, a mother loon teaching her teenager how to fish. I saw momma dive then surface with a fish witch she gave to her child.
Wow what a special moment seeing the mother loon offering its child a fish :) Thank you for watching!
Perfect timing, love your videos. Time to relax
Hey! Hope you enjoy it! Definitely some peaceful moments enjoyed on that trip :) Cheers!
Max, another great video! We're so blessed with nature in this country. If only my buddies realized the same and wanted to do trips like this. For now, I'll live vicariously through you and Xander (although his channel should be on the food network, all he does is eat lol)!
haha ya he does eat a lot!
Love yours and your brother's videos. Please keep up the great work. That howling in the background sure sounded like wolf to me. We have quite a few over here in Idaho. I have listened to them while out hunting many times. I couldn't say 100 percent, but pretty sure that is wolf. Always looking forward to your continuing adventures.
Hey, Kent! Thank you - I'm glad you enjoyed this one. Right now I've had a few people guess mourning dove and Great Horned Owl as well - but wolf is even more exciting. I'll be looking up some calls online to see if I can confirm one or the other. Cheers and thank you again!
Wow, really beautiful scenery and wildlife you caught on this trip. Fish looked pretty yummers too! Thanks so much for the tag along and sharing your adventure.
My pleasure, Kimble! Wildlife was definitely out and about in full summer :) Cheers!
Totally love your videos which focus on the nature you are traveling through....will we be seeing more of your wife in future videos...she' s
Hello, Ronald! Yes, you will - we are actually packing up for the next trip as we speak. Thank you for watching and for the kind comment. Cheers!
So calm and relaxing to watch your video! Looked like you had a good time!
It was!
Magical! You captured nature around you so beautifully!! Stunning morning mist in the opening and closeups of the insects. Love to watch your videos, so peaceful and relaxing. as always love that you include our feathered friends as well🙂
Hi, Kathy! Haha love that you call them our feathered friends :D Thank you for watching and for the kind comment :)
Such an ethereal video, Max, with your beautiful music. Your nature shoots are so beautiful and the peacefulness of the forest so relaxing. A very calming and soulful video to watch. Blessings and safe journeys.
Thank you so much!
Thank you for a beautiful video, that sound you heard was a Bard Owl.
Thanks for confirming that! Someone else mentioned it in the comments and when I googled the calls it sounded like it might be it. Thanks for watching - it's my pleasure to share :)
Beautiful video, Maxim. Loved it
Glad you enjoyed it!
Spectacular as always! ❤ to both of you. We all need more serenity in our lives. Thanks for sharing yours.
Thanks as always Gord. Really appreciate you watching!

Thanks! Will do!
Very cool my friend 🤠
Thank you kindly
many beautiful scenes well done!
Thank you! Cheers :)
Short and sweet! Did you ever figure out that noise? Thanks 🏕️
Hello, Allison! Not yet! People have guessed mourning doce, great horned owl, and wolf so far...
American Redstart how did you get that close ….beautiful. Maxim living the life. Thanks for taking me along!
It was just pure luck. Flew right into camp. I would bet that it must be habituated to people from somewhere farther south in its migration.
Magnificent shots of wildlife and nature! Loved the flight of the heron. Such a majestic bird. And it's great that the fire ban has been lifted. Camping is just not the same without a campfire.
I agree =Amy! You are very welcome .Thanks again for coming along
Just so happy to see you guys getting some rain up there!! Holy Smokes! (Dad joke!)😁 Beautiful footage as always! Thank you thank you!!! NQU

Thanks, Chris! Really appreciate it!

OH Maxi! a girl! I thought we were the only one for you?! 😁😁😉😉Beautiful video!
Ya a real one this time haha 🙂
Excellent bird footage. Very hard to get close ups of several of those birds, nice work. Any idea what that howling sound was ?
Not sure yet! In the comments people have guessed mourning dove, wolf, and great horned owl so far! Thanks for watching!
Many thanks to you both for sharing this trip 💜 Stunning videography as always Max and after just returning home form 11 days on Moosehead Lake wilderness camping, I am transported immediately back to a place that speaks to my soul. Blessed with a twilight moose sighting/ cow feeding on lily pads, loon pair with 1 chick, spectacular light and moon risings, paddling, camp fires and just all of it…so hard to leave but the images remain to refer to until we return again. Was that an owl you heard Max? Sounded like one to me but you never know! Enjoy these summer days! Cheers, Barret
From all the feedback that I have gotten in the comments it looks to be a barred owl. Amazing that you were able to do a big trip like that and I am happy to have helped transport you back
8:19 ahh yes the common loon, something i can personally relate to
You mean as a bird? Brothers of a feather
Beautiful immersive video Max! It’s not easy filming those water striders 😂
I really appreciate that ! haha I love watching those guys
Another excellent video...nice the way you capture the simple beauty of nature with a nice balance of the aerial views to the beautiful underwater shots...gold ...added bonus your wife coming along with some sweet catches...cheers to you both Namastat

Hi Max, what model and layup canoe do you use? I'm considering replacing the one I currently own. I primarily use it for the same kinds of situations you do.
It's an Evergreen Starburst. Wonderful canoe but sadly no longer in production... I got this one used and patched it up myself
Beautiful composition, Max. You’re a poet and you know it! Do you have any artistic or literary background?
Thank you! I'm a musician. The music used in my videos are all my own compositions :) Thanks for watching, David! Cheers
