My battery is in my trunk. Would that make it easier.

My son has the same car, we installed 2 10”s this weekend, Skar Amp and Kicker 2 channel LOC. I followed your instructions and it worked great for about 15minutes then faded out. Nothing coming from subs unless gain was raised then it was just a loud violent humm. Removed power fuse, installed back and it worked great again. Then faded out. With radio turned all the way down if you increase amp gain it humms loud and violently.
Do you thinks it’s the LOC?

Yeah, bad LOC. I'd recommend the one we used, or LC2i. Give that a shot.

How did you keep your car from kidding memory or screwing over the Throttle body?

Is it possible to connect some tweeters to also amplify the sound? Or taking the signal from the factory subwoofer can it only be used for another subwoofer?

I used a Kicker line-out converter in my 2013 Q7. The issue I have is that sometimes (most of the time) the LOC doesn't turn the amp on. I can unplug the speaker leads for the LOC input, then reconnect them, and the amp will then turn on.
I have a friend that has the same issue in his Honda accord, but he ended up running a new remote wire from ACC to his amp.
Ever ran into this issue and have any advice for my Q7?
    Thanks!

I have a amp and sub installed in my Q5. I was told the car need to be all the way on for the after market amp to work in a Audi. I was told the amp only can come on when the ignition switch is in on position. It can not be hooked to come in acc position is this true. The factory amp comes on in acc, but the aftermarket does not. Any suggestions?

It depends on your line out converter and the features it have

what is the fuse amperage you used between the LOC and 12v factory source?

I think proper way is connect positive wire not to battery but to fuse box

That line out converter is garbage 🗑️. Full of distortion

Not if you properly tune it using an DD1.

@@ProvoBeastAudio I seen that no more than 2 volts then distortion city

@@ProvoBeastAudio No. The signal is already distorted as it comes from the standard radio which is always crap. You can process it all you want, this system will only make it sound louder. What you need is a direct line level signal from the radio to the amplifier. Or an optical (SPDIF) link from the radio to a DSP and DSP to amp.
