As a Kid with only having a wii, I think being able to play a COD game at all would be amazing. As an adult, there is no reason to ever play the Wii version
The reason on the Wii it has a hat in the first mission is because the zombies characters are just slightly altered campaign models. That one is THE Takeo model which is very weird
Being able to play a recent release on my ps2 was so cool. Still remember how amazed i was. Thank you for bringing back those memories! Your videos are unique.

This is essentially the hardest Call of Duty to be played on Veteran difficulty. It's so hard, it was also broken due to the enemies spamming TONs of grenades at your VERY EXACT LOCATION. The INFINITE enemy spawning and to stop it is to simply break your way through the level. On top of it, some levels have only one way to get through the level are full of enemies, you needed at least a smoke grenade to safely pass through that heavily guarded passage. At the same time, the details were great. In short, early Treyarch developed Call of Duty games are the hardest.
I didn’t have an Xbox 360 until 2009 and a PS3 until 2010. At the time when WaW came out it was the last cod for ps2 and I remember that cod4 was only available for PS3 and Xbox 360. Times have definitely changed
I guess you figured out how to use the premiere setting Kudos! Also Rockstar told me that they want to see YOU do a GTA Vice City Stories side by side eventually for them to watch
I bought the Wii version at a Comic Con in Salt Lake City, knowing what I was getting into, and honestly, I still found it a fun blast through with Motion controls. Same with Modern Warfare. One side by side I wouldn't mind seeing, even though it might be quite complicated: Duke Nukem 3D. The PC version has so many versions (officially between 3D Realms, Devolver Digital, and Gearbox, not including all source ports...) and consoles we have: PSOne (Total Meltdown), Saturn, N64 (Duke Nukem 64), PS3 (Megaton), PS Vita (Megaton), XBOX 360, PS4 (20th Anniversary), XBOX ONE (20th Anniversary), and Switch (20th Anniversary).
I’m probably just another voice in the crowd, but I just want to say that your videos are enjoyable and I enjoy the effort you put into them! Please continue making these interesting comparisons! I also have some suggestions you should do: Driver Parallel Lines (PC, PS2, Xbox, Wii) Medal of Honor: European Assault (GameCube, PS2, Xbox) Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 1-3 (GameCube, PS2, Xbox, Remasters of 1 and 2 were released for new systems but I only really care about the original versions so you don’t have to do the remasters if you don’t want to) Dead to Rights II (PC, PS2, Xbox) Destroy All Humans! 2 (PS2, Xbox) The Matrix: Path of Neo (PC, PS2, Xbox) The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction (GameCube, PS2, Xbox) The Incredible Hulk (DS, PC, PS2, PS3, Wii, Xbox 360) Shrek Super Party (GameCube, PS2, Xbox) 50 Cent: Bulletproof (PS2, PSP, Xbox) Backyard Wrestling 1-2 (PS2, Xbox)
The thing is: i first played the Wii version as a young child, when I got older, around 16, I came back to play WaW on PC, max settings, and to me, that was exactly how I remembered that game on the Wii... until I saw gameplay on youtube... affective memory is strange
Wii lacks water effects because it didn't have any flexible hardware pixel shading capabilities, instead it had dedicated hardware texture 'mixing' units (like the gamecube) so you could get some sweet large scale dynamic shadows, advanced lighting, water or fur and even tessellation/bumpmapping (eg twilight princess, mario sunshine, starfox adventure, star wars, resident evil 4 ) but albeit it was done using completely different technique and ports never got much customization put into them to warrant cool effects. The gamecube derived TEV's were genius (more efficient way of doing cool effects vs pixel shading), sadly they were not a standard and only 1st parties made use of them.
“The game should have good textures people will hardly notice the characters and we can dumb them down” PS3: “how about textured clothes with slightly worse graphics?”
5:27 I'm fairly that it's a bug because, when I look mostly away from them, the explosions happen. I was also still able to do the bayonet stab on the Wii, but after an update had occurred long ago, the stab just vanished.
I played both WaW and Bo1 on wii I will say Bo1 had improved from WaW on wii with Zombies and Blood even tho it look like an original Xbox game I still had a ton of fun online and the fact you can turn the gun all around on the wii in game was the best Feature

The only difference is that the Wii can let you aim the gun in nearly every direction. While the rest is in a fixed position. Which it is the only good thing about it.
@@cooleyYT That is not how aiming between mouse and wii remote works. Even against controllers (except for VR controllers). What I had meant is that you can aim by moving the gun around instead of the camera (with the gun in a fixed position). What I am trying to say is that there's free gun movement which you can move it in nearly every direction. And a fixed gun movement which it will stay in one position and it can "move" but not as much as the wii mote does. So moving the mouse will move the camera with the gun on a fix movement. So technically you are still aiming. Same goes for the controller. So free gun movement is where you can physically move the gun from one part of the screen to another. Like from middle to top left. Or from top left to bottom left. VR is where you can physically move the VR controllers from any direction and position. And they're only limited by your physical body.
@@killertruth186 yes but on the pc you can not only emulate that movement of just the gun..but with a mouse and keyboard have the somewhat same effect only in full first person
Thanks for another video comparison, RookerVision. I love these videos. I have only played the 360 and PC versions. However, in the first clothing comparison (3:59-4:02), the PC version appears to have the clearest clothing texture and even more details not seen in the PS3, 360, and Wii versions of the game. Firstly, if you look carefully, the 360 version seems to have some of the PC quality, yet more details appeared to be blurred out or missing. The vertical and horizontal crossed patches or lines of depth in detail on the PC clothing is missing from clear sight on the 360 side. The PS3 version has some lines of detail, but others from the top are either blurred out when compared with the PC clothing, or some areas are missing entirely. The patch near the middle is a unique area. It appears to be quite rough and attractive, but details around it look inconsistent, stretched, and blurry-looking. Even the blood on PS3 clothing is blurrier. Furthermore, the satchel looks less defined and more messy along the edge of the flap. The Wii version is unique in color and texture, but it is still muddy and lacks depth of the folds seen towards the middle. The satchel also appears with less clarity. Overall, it is muddy and darker in color on the Wii version. Although, these comparisons seem to vary with lighting and angles. At 4:05, there is more line detail on the PS3 clothing that could not be seen previously. Much of the line detail still appears blurry, stretched, and inconsistent on the clothing. There is one difference I did not mention previously though. The darkness and shadow depth in folds/layers of the clothing is higher on the PS3 version. The Wii and 360 versions largely remain the same from this spot, but I now notice just how dark the Wii version can appear when facing away from the light. The 360 version couldn't decide if it wanted to be the PC or the PS3 version. The Wii version is just doing what it wants to do. The PC side is about the same as it was before. I would still need to go back and explore the beginning scene again to see where lighting is coming from because it helps with spotting certain details in the clothing, such as the depth of form shadows and patterns of lines crossing each other. Additionally, blood detail and clarity is varied as well. Other than that, I agree with everything else I see in the video based on observation. Some PS3 clothing looks more rough with detail. The hand comparison makes the PS3 version look more dirty. I am actually glad the PC version dropped the early dramatic slowdown effect from the console releases because for me, that one little difference made it more realistic. It didn't try to make the scene look any more like an action movie. It got straight to the point like it didn't care. It's amazing at what differences could be seen in all of these versions. I never knew the PS3 version had all of these unique aspects about it when it came to clothing and first-person model detail. I knew the Wii version wasn't going to be the greatest in quality, but explosion sounds without explosions was weird to see. Also, I expected more of the 360 version, considering it has some details from the PC version, yet it is missing others from PS3 and PC. It's starting to make me wonder if the PS3 version was a port that got upgrades in some spots because of the low resolution details. Best versions by quality of visuals: PS3, 360, PC
In my opinion, PS3 has the best character, clothes, and weapon textures/details. While the Xbox 360 has the best environmental, explosion, and particle textures/details.
